It's been nine months since the release , and no one has had much success .Many have promised attention to it , but it hasn't gotten nearly enough in my opinion . Your beste bet is to try YouTube to find the guy who seems to have gotten the farthest actually seen with this project . He was on here once with an alpha testing phase. I got my fingers crossed that all goes well on a full HDMI mirroring app for all roms from stock to custom as well as asop and sense based. You could also try looking at other forums for his presence and discussion on his work. But make sure to come back to deal for all the other latest on the EVOlution...

For some reason this keeps happening to HDMI threads in XDA.
It's too bad we don't have it. I busted my lcd and was afraid to take it in to the store I was wanting to have this to unroot my phone before I took it in to get fixed. Turned out they fixed it anyway but it would be neat, not that it would get used much. Just those few times that u would really want it.

lol very true but i realy did want feedback which consist more than it working good which is what on the original thread tells me. lol afterall it took ages for this nightly to come , and am a long time rom i. stick to the same rom for a couple of months just wanted to know is it suitable for every day use and what the battary life was like.

There is nothing special about why this nightly took so long to come out other than the fact that kernel.org was hacked and the android repositories were inaccessible until now.

I know that the OP of the previous thread supposedly asked for the thread to be closed, but seriously, I came home early to be able to install Miui onto my mom's Atrix so she could get off the CM7 beta2.
I guess for now I'll have to install the latest 'CM7'-ish rom for her, considering the Atrix still isn't officially supported.
You could always develop it yourself instead of whining. The developers owe you nothing! I know if I was the dev I wouldn't release it just because of people like you!

As far as I've experienced on the CM7 build for the Atrix, the battery life is simply atrocious along with the lack of webtop and proper HDMI-out support.

I am owed nothing from developers.
But when I read that a build of some ROM is coming x day, and I take the time to come home to help my mother put that on her phone only for it to (as of yet) not come to fruition, I am less than pleased with said developer.
They still owe me nothing, but they have less than my full satisfaction.
MIUI is based off of CM7 so chances are more than likely the same stuff won't work that doesn't work on CM7 for the Atrix.
Battery life is my main problem with CM7, it just wont last more than 2/3rds of a day. I've been finding myself to bring the charger wherever I go.
Here's to hoping that the developer who was kind enough to even think of getting MIUI for our Atrix devices, gives us a more solid timeframe.
It's all about setting expectations I guess. For me, my expectation of the Atrix in itself has been surpassed with the bA2tf CM7 release. I guess I'm easy to please!

I'm not getting the whole " my battery doesn't last on cm7 " I can get a solid 8 hours of constant use without the need for a charger.. 10 % per hour give or take. With the stock kernal. I even nought the siedio 3500 mah extended battery. And find I really don't need it ATM.
While miui would def rock to have on our atrix... I'm content with cm7 for my needs. And not in anyway getting caught up in the where is this or that drama.. sit back enjoy your phone. Lol

Looking for pity and using your mom's well being in her phone-life to get it? You are the type that will drive slowness up for miui development for the Atrix.
You should buy your mom a new phone and try not reporting it to the world for a change.

yea...at the beginning of the day i had really high hopes for this and now I'm not sure where this thing is going....thats why i closed my miui thread because i figured there was going to be a lot of bickering since it still hadn't been released

So, I am a new user to XDA, but am by no means a newbie developer. PHP, PERL, C+, .net, powershell, you name it.
I wanted to give thanks to Mazwoz, as that poor soul has received the most ridiculous amount of trash talk for no reason. Also, a thank-you for his service (assuming he is enlisted and not a contractor).
Anyways, thanks to MazWoz for your work, and I hope that this silly 10 post minimum garbage goes away.
Otherwise, I guess I'll just post 10 more threads about how silly this is.
(Actually, I won't, but it made me feel better to say so.)
Mazwoz, if you happen so see this, I wanted to get you some information about a gallery issue I am having, I might have fixed it in a reproducible way.
I agree, even though he came out of nowhere with a rom, it turned out to be remarkably smooth for a first run ICS rom. Keep up the good work, man!

My first post here..but a long time reader and follower of many ROMs.
Thankyou MazWoz. Installed it and works awesome so far..Battery life is 30 hours and counting (on regular battery), and I am power user. Excellent work.!!

+1 so many people are under appreciated when i first read all that trash on the first page of the roms op I was sooo hesitant to join xda, the only reason i'm here is because the best MIUI roms are on xda..

I been testing this since start, running 4.7 now and one thing i noticed is Apex makes this ROM really fly...
People seem to forget what open source is. I'm glad I didn't run into something like you when throwing DerpXL out of nowhere but it seems to be all behind you now

I wanted to post a comment to the official development thread, but I couldn't. I have so far only been lurking in the shadows and not participating in the conversation so I'm nowhere close to the ten post minimum, even though I've been frequenting those pages for years!
I've been flashing my phone ever since my first Droid Eris had 1.6, and I've been running Maz's Jelly Bean ROMs since B1. This most recent release is (obviously) the most stable and fastest I've seen yet, and that goes for ANY JB ROM. I've tried a few, but Maz is the best. So the real reason I wanted to post was...
I want to thank MazWoz for spending so much time working on this. You have managed to breathe new life into my old-ass phone (not to be confused with my old ass-phone). Google Now is amazing, I love the new alarm clock, and the SPEED, man! Blistering!!
With B2, I was having a lot of issues when I'd open an app and it would freeze and reboot, but so far that seems to have been resolved. This ROM is so much smoother and faster in general, I don't even know where to begin singing your praises. If I could ask one favor, please include the option to center the clock in the status bar in your next release! I know you're already working on fixing the camera screen, so in summary:
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AND THANK YOU!!! [cue applause]

wt a disaster. I always loved his roms and work. I still cannot believe that he left :crying:. I just realized that the thread has got 3 stars only. For me it deserved a 5 star
I dont know what happened i think everyone complained cause the latest rom didnt work for GSM and noone wanted to do multirom me included but i could have waited till it was fixed. I hope he comes back. Alot of people love his work i do too im on sense 6 right now
Given the number of roms and the volume of work entailed I'm surprised there is only one man behind it all. Take his roms away and the m7 development forums become a much bleaker place imo.

This is true and let's not forget the number of "devs" that kang his work because it is so good. Everyone will then be left with buggy sense 7 roms that still rely on sense 6 parts to work.

I have been using his ROMs for a while now. Very sad that he will not continue developing them. I'm getting an M9 in a few weeks and hopefully someone equally skilled (or santod040) will develop ROMs for that device.
So sad that some idiots steal his work. I hope that if he upgrades to the M9 he will continue his development. His roms were smooth and with great feedback/support of him. Everything was compiled by him in the nusenseven rom. I have the roms but have not the knowledge to cook it myself for GSM. He will leave a big hole in the GSM dev scene.
