Hello,
I am fairly new to XDA developers forum so please forgive me if this question has been answered in the past but I seem to be having this same problem with many different builds and have tried (especially sense builds)for my tmobile HD2, after a screen timeout my phone will freeze up and I cannot get it back. I will need to do a battery pull and restart to get going again. Currently I am running OzDroid for android and radio 2.10.50.26. This has happened to me on several different phones not just one.
Is this just operator error? what am I doing wrong? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

Hi people, this site has done wonders... kind of
just by reading alot of posts and info here ive been able to flash my htc and change roms, as im in australia i get all that telstra logo crap all through the phone.
My problem lies that once ive installed a new rom, customised the settings how i like, ill find 9 out of 10 times the phone will not restart and gets stuck at the white htc screen, it stays there and wont budge, even after 10- 15 mins
just curious as to what i could be doing wrong to cause this
currently its been flashed with HSPL and running the Touch-IT_BL_23569_tmous2.13_w_cookies_1.8.0 rom
i like it but cant use the phone most of the time after its restarted, and i definately dont want to revert back to the crappy telstra rom
any help would be much appreciated
thanks
You need to flash a suitable radio for the rom your using.
Read the thread for the rom your using and see what radio they suggest.
Put the phone in to bootloader mode and flash the radio.
Thanks alot mate, been 3 days messing around with this, and a thread was my last resort
much appreciated

What radio are you using and did you run CLRCAD.exe?
Radio versions are responsible for almost every problem running android on HD2. You should really upgrade to version 2.12 and compare. Also try upgrading your winmo rom to one of the other winmo rom's on the this site, since they tweak and change minor things which may have an impact. I use ChuckyROM, which is nice because it has a cool loader for launching android with the click of a button.
What are some reliable radios yall recommend to use and I have a cooked winmo Rom already but I can do everything on the Android but make a call I can receive text emails and surf but can't make calls :/
Like the above poster already suggested, use 2.12. This is the newest radio. It works great for me.
I am using radio 2.15.50.14 and cannot get android to run
I run HARET and it shows a couple of lines of code, then within 3 or 4 seconds of running it, I get lots of static horizontal white lines and the device basically bricks and I have to remove the battery.
Any ideas?

I had this same problem when I first started reading about droid on HD2.
Make sure you flash your phone with HSPL and make sure you format your memory card as FAT32.
problem calling, american suffix added
hi,
i have recently upgraded my hd2 with the latest winmo (oct 2010) and install Android 2.2 with sense. that works fine, but i have sometimes a problem when i'm trying to make call, the phone add automatically the usa suffix to my number :s
example if i try to call a 06xxxxxxxxhe will try to call the 00106xxxxxxxx.
can someone please help me to resolve that.
thank you very much.
hi,
i have succesfully boot android to my hd2, but when i turn my phone off and turn it on it starts with my standard rom (winmo 6.5)
can somebody help me?
thanks!
Maybe you didn't you understand that its the way it should be ?
You have installed a SD build, which means your WM 6.5 ROM has not been touched in any way, and everytime you reboot then your phone will boot in WM first.
By the way, this is a great advantage of SD builds, because if anything goes wrong in Android, you can quickly go back to WM.
Fortunately, you can automate the work to restart Android at each boot by installing an app like EBL (Exceller boot loader). Search here on xda, or google it for more information.
Ok thanks for the reaction,
I have one problem. When i turn on the music on my phone, it's going faster than normal. I have read some things, but it stil there.
My radio version is now: 2.10.50.26

sounds like a radio issue to me, have you tried other ROMs, what is your radio version?
Try flashing 2.12.50 or 2.15.50 and you should be fine.
tried the Energy Rom, no good use.. flashing the radio now.... thxx for the quick reply
sure thing, let me know how it goes.
Also, when flashing a new winmo ROM, are you doing a task29?
I have had issues when flashing new ROMs over old ones without doing task29 first, it seems to help a lot.

Hello all,
I've gone through a heap of threads on here, and had some help from depsey1989, but still I'm unsuccessful in doing this. I really need someone to take some time out and help me through this.
Here's the deal.
I have the Aussie version of the HD2 (t1919blah) - it's the telstra one with all the bloatware. Anyway, I've updated the radio to what i thought was 2.15.50.14, but it's turned out to be 2.07.51.something. So after being told the 51 won't allow Android I've flashed the proper radio to the phone and although it said it was successfully flashed - the 2.07.51 radio rom still remains. It seems that no matter what i do this stupid thing won't change. I'm using sspl because that number in my bootloader is too high and customruu won't work. I've reloaded my original rom (direct from the htc site) and still the same problem occurs.
Can someone PLEASE help me with this, I'm getting really frustrated with A/ the flasher, b/ the phone, and c/ the complete lack of help and smart A comments from some of the members here. The only person to help me has been despy1989 and another guy that put me onto the hspl track - other than that I've either been ignored or told to search the forums (which I've been doing for the past 2-3days).
Please, if someone could just take the time out to help me, I'd be very much appreciative. I'm not an Ahole, nor am I intending to be demanding, but with so many people on here that know what they are doing, I'd just think someone could take the time out to help me with this stupid problem.
To all those that are willing to help, A huge pre-emptive thankyou.
telstra mean does it have 825mhz procesr..
ok after u flash stock rom from htc it musmustt change ur radio.but btw which radio itcontain?try to flash that .nbh file through sd card.lets see what happen
Hello, guys.
Well, I love android and all, but I have had problems. Overheating problems for the most part, followed by freezes. I love my HTC HD2 too much for letting the problems occure or continue experimenting, since I'm new to the flashing-scene and
stuff.
I'm really looking into getting it back to stock. Can anyone please help? Obviously, I will need the HSPL to be original and everyting.
I have made 2 different ext. partitions I think on the SD card.
Can anyone please help? Any detailed help is HIGHLY appreciated.
Thanks mates!
