According to android life a new market started rolling out tonight...sweet..
http://www.droid-life.com/2010/12/10/android-market-receiving-major-ui-overhaul/
Towards bottom on the article it states this:
To try to force the update on to your phone, try this:
Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Market and clear data on it.
Click to collapse
Will that effect previous "paid for" applications as far as updates or anything adverse like?
I do it all the time and I've never lost anything besides my search history which is why I do it anyway

Thanks Lee, will do directly to see if the new update happens.
Edit:
Clearing data throws this which is a little scary to me:
Delete
All of this application's data will
be deleted permanently. This
includes all files, settings,
accounts, databases, and so on.
OK - Cancel
Should it not be "Clear cache" instead
I do not get that message at all... AI actually just did it to mine
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
its ok to clear it all.its stored in the cloud. no diff that flashing a rom
Yea I in fact lied I get the same message and when I reopen it my paid apparently are still all good

No clue, moot point as of now. Went to do a screenshot and "double tapped" the screenshot OK and hit the OK on the delete also so it deleted all history and stuffs. When I press Downloads on Market I see all the apps I've got installed and paid for so it's all good.
Here's a pic of what I see when I follow the directions:

just to let you know, when you upgrade to the new market, paid download have to be refunded within 15 mins. Not 24 hours anymore.

Zephaniah pointed out what they said the reason was
Reason for the refund window being shortened according to Google: Devs requested it. "...we will reduce the refund window on Market to 15 minutes. This change will be largely transparent to buyers, but will help developers manage their businesses more effectively."

If you're like me, when you buy an app it costs like 2 bucks at most and I know within the first 5 minutes whether I wanna keep it or not. Even if I don't particularly like an app I've let it run over the refund time to help support the DEV.
What's a buck or two gunna hurt? Most I've spent on an app was like 11 pound I think and I use it every day for work almost, would have paid 10 times that.
Anyone gotten it yet? Are we sure it comes tonight?
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
The 15 minute time limit is more likely for future games. You can play a great game and beat it in a few hours. I hope they pretty it up a little.
I have tried doing this and it does not work.

Wobderous.
I didn't have to force just clicked install and it replaced old one.
15 minutes tryout totally sucks.
It will just lead to more piracy.
It should have been at least an hour..., who is the idiot making these decisions at Google...?
wow, I opened the market and it was the new one right off the bat! Question though: wasn't it supposed to have video previews? I haven't seen an app that has it yet.
How do I force-update?

So basically its only for newer devices with official froyo release?
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
there is no official Froyo release for the US market.
But you do have to have an unoficial Froyo on the phone, yes.
Here is the apk available from androidspin (it works OK for me, but no guarantees).
Apparently I posted this in the wrong section and it got deleted, sorry about that, but after playing this on the Epic, I think everyone should see it and especially since it's FREE today only! Get it now!!!

QFT.
Keep having to jump back and forth between appstore app and amazon in a browser making single changes one at a time, install fails, change this try again install fails, now change this, try again, etc. Took about 6-7 attempts before it was done telling me all the thing it needed re-configured in order to let me install a 99 cent app that will probably be free next week with a tiny M&Ms advert in it.
Whatever, free game!
Just a pain in the ass, no reason why they couldn't have either informed/required all of the changes on the PC page before sending the link to the phone to ask for the changes one at a time, or just sent a friggin APK download link like they did with the appstore apk.
Bloated, over thought.
Finally got it to work, would it be considered wrz if i posted it for the next 12 hours considering its free...
I know it's basically the same game as AB, but it seems so much more polished and AB was already a polished game. Awesome.

This is retarded
EDITED: Deleted link.
Sorry mods, i dont want no trouble..
Hello im in debt to the great developers here and have opened my website to any and all developers to use to upload roms or any patches needed, I hate mediashare, rapidshare, ect.. because of their timers and need for payment so i created it where all you need to do is register and have access to upload to X amount... check the allowed extensions it will say 170 MB max.. i mean i can increase it but the main rom is not needed higher than that
Moderators dont hurt me im just trying to spread the word to help other users get access to roms as such efficiently

Nope just was in system updates this morning. Very happy for those that own one since this is considered a "dead" device. I started doubting the recent purchase of it for my wife but now that she has it, the battery life will be greater with the extended battery and she'll have the newest software. I may troll around here just to keep the forum moving.

Cool New App
You probably heard the big news, but Qik was acquired by Skype earlier this year. And we’ve been working hard to release our latest rev, adding some great new features. Now you should be able to enjoy live video chat with everyone you know while you’re on the go—even your friends who use iPhones. Yep. That’s right. The new & improved version of Qik Video by Sprint* enables Sprint EVO users to video chat live with anyone who uses an iPhone or Android over 3G, 4G* and WiFi. Plus, you can still instantly record and share videos with your Facebook friends, Twitter followers, on YouTube and more.
*If you have anything other than Qik Video by Sprint, including multiple apps, delete it/them.
**iOS devices do not currently utilize a 4G network.
Save Video & Update Now!
Qik! Follow these steps so you can see what (and who) you're missing!
Save your videos!
Check to see what version of Qik you've got.
IMPORTANT: If you have Qik Video Connect-or anything other than Qik Video by Sprint, even multiple apps-hit DELETE! (It's the ONLY way you'll be able to enjoy all Qik Video by Sprint has to offer!)
Download Qik Video by Sprint!
Check and update your HTV EVO software, too.
Brand New Policies
And because we’re now Skype, we have some new policies in place and our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have both changed. Effective immediately, the Skype Terms of Use will govern your use of Qik’s software, products and websites and your personal information will be processed in accordance with the Skype Privacy Policy. No action is necessary if you agree with these changes. But if you don’t, you’ll want to review your termination rights in Section 11 of our Terms of Use.
Thank you! We appreciate your support. Keep Qik'king!
LOL @ Qik'king

Got the same email, but my work area has little 3G coverage and usually roaming. Tried videochat when it first came out and kept dropping off calls. If the coverage was better in my area I'd prolly use this more often.

I agree, despite the name I use tikl all the time. One of the most used / longest used apps on my phone. It great that it works on all android and iphones no matter what the network. The developer is constantly improving it also. Not sure why there is not pay/donate/adfree version.
