so i hear the UK isn't getting the N1 but receiving the HTC Bravo, does anyone know if this uses the same build info etc as the N1. I know it hasnt been released yet but wondering about rooting info / roms etc.
Any info you can give would be appreciated, thanks
Google does sell the Nexus One to the UK.
Hello everyone,
I am going to purchase a XOOM as soon as I can on sunday morning when the wifi version releases, but am concerned with the support the wifi model will get on XDA. I have a quick question regarding the wifi xoom. Any help would be much appreciated!
Will Xoom owners be able to flash any ROM onto the tablet? For instance, can we flash a 3g rom onto a wifi model (my guess is no)? This isnt really a problem we've encountered with phones yet and worries me. Development within the xoom community could become really fragmented if we have to develop for seperate devices.
Thanks in advance!
You'll be able to do it all the same way just without 3g. Much like a phone's ROM that has support for everything under the sun, but since some phone hardware doesn't allow those features, the extras just don't work -- simple as that!
You'll be good to go... no real need to worry!
The support should be pretty much the same i would think
Best news I've heard all day! Thanks!
I am a total noob when it comes to phones. I am tech savvy, so i will understand what you tell me to do lol. I bought a droid pro off ebay that will be arriving soon and I was planning on installing this rom
droidforums(dot)net/forum/droid-pro-roms/198354-cm9-ics-droid-pro.html
I have no idea how I would do this though. If someone could tell me what to do it would be greatly appreciated. I also would like to know if this rom works well (especiall battery wise, and of course besides the camera), and if not what other roms to consider.
Hey all, hope all is well.
First off, I am completely clueless when it comes to Androids because I am an iPhone user.
Anyway, I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 (i337m) and was looking around the web trying to find tutorials/forums on how to enable AWS on this phone that is running the newest(?) version. I have been searching for about 2 1/2 hours now and can't find anything at all. Is there any possible way to make this happen?! I am trying to get the phone to work with Wind Mobile.
ANY help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Thank you
Forgive me if this has been beaten to death so if there's already an open thread please redirect me. I just need to know officially whether or not this model can be rooted as I'm having next to no luck google searching about it. Most threads are either 3 years old or pertain only to China s8 G955 etc models, but my understanding so far is the Snapdragon US model is unrootable. Just need to confirm this, and if so why is Samsung so frickin lame preventing this and getting rid of all the exploits? Any why is it ONLY this Galaxy model? I checked a list of rootable models and it just skips from the S7 to S9. I'm a bit salty about it. It's a great phone and would love to do more with it. Please advise, and if anyone knows of any cool alternatives/workarounds I'd very much like to know.
Thanks,

There is no root for Oreo and if the bootloader is revision 3 or higher no chance of.
