I run linpack on JK1 and shows me a 2.800 MFLOPS and with JPA runs at 3.000 MFLOPS.
Its sure that JIT has enabled on this versions of froyo?? Can somebody confirms this MFLOPS for JPA or JK1?

quadrant score with 2.1 stock: ~850
quadrant score with 2.1 stock + voodo lagfix update.zip from phone: ~1950
now i have installed froyo jpo official on XX german sgs unbranded version XXJPO
quadrant score with froyo JPO : ~950
quadrant score with froyo JPO + voodo lagfix Voodoo-5-pre6-Froyo-GT-I9000-odin-pda.tar with odin: ~1624
what is wrong guys? why do i get lower score than with 2.1+voodo?
When I run Quadrant, the file system part takes extremely long.
We do not know how realistic the benchmark is. Look at the I/O performance of SD cards, which is often very, very poor for small write sizes. A decent application will avoid those I/O patterns.
With caffeinemark, which is purely CPU processing, Froyo is 4 times as fast as Eclair.

These scores are meaningless since Quadrant is not that accurate at all.
Try OCLF 2.8 .. available in market .. I got 2069...

just for a reference, in my short period of playing with desire HD, I was able to reach 2800ms (1.5GHz o'c), on 2.3.2 though.

I have ported Umaro's CM7 kernel to unity sense 3.0, and was going to post it on the development thread, but thats not allowed since I have no posts.
The MSM7230 is an out of order superscalar chip so I've modified the build options to use tune a9 and neon. Quadrant from this rom is 1874, governor is defaulted to smartass on wake and interactive otherwise.
It has the updated videocore from codeaurora, and will update the omx bridge to the latest from cyanogen.
i have had no problems with it, and it works nicely.

I had a test run with it on Virtuous Unity 1.25 and it looks pretty smooth. I got a 1861 on Quadrant Standard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but out-of-the-box the kernel seems to scale the cpu speed from 368Mhz to 979Mhz, even though the OC daemon settings that come in the zip install tell it to go up 1.4Ghz.
has anyone tried this out?
