Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > YouTube and clear data and cache and try again. I had the same issue and that fixed it for me.

After I was able to open Youtube again, I've been able to log in and it doesn't FC on me anymore, though it's entirely possible that the theme I'm using changed the Youtube version.

I changed my uastring to desktop mode and now every time I try to open my browser it force closes it won't display anything so I can't even change it back. anyone else encounter this and have a resolution?
I'm on stock j16, native browser.
I did this a long time ago with a similar experience. I think I just restored a nandroid backup. I'm sure there are other methods, but this worked for me.
I encountered this issue recently. You have to empty out the cache in the browser.

All you do is go to applications click menu and select all applications to show. The when you find browser clear cache defaults and force stop. That's how mine was fixed.

thanks guys. both of these helped! also for someone else who might encounter this, your apps list is automatically filtered so i couldn't even find my browser in the apps. you have to select menu > filter > all to actually see the browser.

Happy to help. Somehow T.W prevents the ua string from working without flash. It only works with froyo.

Smoke a butt...you"ll be all set in 3...2...1
I noticed at first that my market wouldn't auto update no matter how long I left it so I manually updated with a 2.3.2 apk I had laying around at which point it finally would auto-update to 2.3.4. Odd quirk I guess.
if it doesn't automatically update for you, go to settings --> applications --> manage applications --> all --> scroll down to market and click it --> clear cache and data, then re-open it (will take a second or 2) then there you go
Thanks bacon06 it worked ^__^

Is it possible to open YouTube video link from web pages or search results in YouTube App? I have tried clearing defaults on browser app but still no luck. I don't see any defaults on YouTube app.
My gingerbread phone can do so but not my honeycomb A500. Anything I am missing?
Thanks
So no one has answer for this?

Main settings, applications, manage applications, all. Scroll down to "YouTube", and near the bottom you'll see "launch by default".
Solved

Looked around but launch by default is not enabled for YouTube.
What worked though is, Clear Data, Force Stop on YouTube App and tried opening youtube links from browser. This time I get open with Youtube app option
So I checked default checkbox and things are working fine.
Thanks
Everything was working fine then out of the blue, the facebook app won't display my friends' profile pictures and it removed the pictures I had in the phonebook, also I can't see profile pictures of my friends in candy crush saga. Any idea how to solve this problem !!!!!!

Go to settings>my device>application manager, select facebook and clear its cache. It should work afterwards.

I tried that and it didn't work. Also the profile pics are not appearing on facebook messenger too. I looked up the solution on the internet http://www.webosnation.com/facebook-app-reclaim-your-friend-s-photos but it didn't work. Very strange problem

Now that its awkward because if its onlt the FB app it should work by just clearing the apps cache but if you also did a full wipe and it still persists then I dont know mate sorry.

I solved it. I went to settings through the facebook app and I chose security and removed all active sessions and also removed all trusted devices and everything is back to normal once more.
N.B: All the profile pics are back but they don't sync with the address book contacts
I've had this messages icon stuck on my notification menu for a while now. Clicking on it makes the phone reboot. Any suggestions?
Thank.

That took care of it temporarily, but that downloading messages icon showed up again. Any idea what app might be causing it?

If you cleared the cache on that app and it didn't work all I can think is that another app is starting it. Maybe Gmail? You most likely will have to find guilty app or consider a factory reset.
