Hey guy's, Just a little bit of information before i get started with my question.
In my work place, our field tech's are using a Windows Mobile phone (HTC Touch 2 Pro) for verizon. Recently Verizon stopped selling Windows Mobile phone so I haven't been able to purchase new Windows Mobile phones for our techs, and we need the Windows Mobile Phone's so we can run an applicaiton called FieldOne (http://www.fieldone.com/mobile/) The program can only be used thru a Windows mobile 5 phone or higher.
I can't buy any more windows phone so this is a problem since I have two tech's needing a new phone so they can access FieldOne . My question now is, is there any way i can get an Windows Mobile Application Compatible with an Android phone? Is there any Android app that'll allow us to use FieldOne?
Thanks in addvanced
Verizon still carries Windows Mobile devices, just not many. The LG Fathom is the closest to the Touch Pro2.

why don't you get them regular WinMo PDA's and the MiFi modem/router gimmick? use it via Wi-Fi and you even get the 4G.
just my 2 cents

Hi All,
I couldn't find much on Internet, so I decided to post a message here.
I was wondering if there is any way to Intercept the communication between the SIM card and the Phone (cellcore) on a Windows Mobile 5.0 based phone.
I'm trying to re-route some of the SIM request commands comming from the Phone to an other application running on the same device, for logging purposes.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance for your time,
cinara
Windows mobile device center mis-recognizes my phone as another HTC phone, not a Touch. The picture it shows looks like a Titan or hermes or whatever. Any ideas
I am looking to get the Simply Mobile service with the HD2. I used the tzones hack and got 3 g service anyway with Tmobile when people are told it would not work. And Ive read that the Simply Mobile service runs on the Tmobile network.
So, my question is for those with a Simply mobile account, if I get the $50 dollar 2g speed service, will the HD2 read at 3g even though the service says it will only run on 2g like the Tzones did?
And...I notice that HD7 cannot get picture messaging from reading the Simply mobile website. Will the chances that the HD2 also not be able to get the MMS service?
Awesome. Looks like MMS works. Just playing it safe.

Hi
I have HTC HD2 got on contract from T Mobile UK couple of years before having windows mobile on it. Recently I have changed my service provider from T Mobile to Orange after finishing contract with T Mobile. I unlocked the phone so it can work on any network.
In the meantime when I was using T Mobile service, I had replaced the operating system from Windows mobile to Android. So when I changed the provider and unlocked my phone, my phone and mobile internet gprs was working fine on Android with Orange. Couple of days before I install windows mobile (T Mobile version of win mobile as phone was not accepting original win mobile for HTC HD2 and giving error) again on my HTC HD2. Now the problem is that phone is working fine for making and receiving phone calls but mobile internet is not working. I have checked the Data Connection Setting and only T Mobile is shown as network connection in the list, I have tried setting up different network connection as Orange but didnt work. I can't be able to delete T Mobile in the network connection list. When I select the country as UK, only T Mobile is shown in the list.
If anyone can help and provide the best solution, will appreciate. Thanks a lot.
try use rom manager for fix permission maybe it can help to fix problem
So I'm on the T-Mobile Pay As You Go plan as a Gold reward member. A few months ago I switched to the Samsung Exhibit II 4G because I was getting sick of my HTC Touch Pro2. My TP2 was a Sprint branded one that was unlocked and flashed with an unlocked radio that would let me use it on T-Mobile (the device is dual-mode CDMA/GSM). The weird thing is that I could access certain sites on that device, like the mobile version of Yahoo, that I can't access on my Exhibit II. Is it because T-Mobile recognizes my current device and is restricting access to it? It might be but I was also able to access the mobile version of Yahoo when I was toying around with an HTC HD2 (when it was running Android through MAGLDR). My plan shouldn't have any data at all but I can still access that site if I switch back to my TP2. Any one know what's going on?
Does it just flat out not load, or does it say you don't have a data connection?
It redirects me to a page saying I don't have data.

Hi, I think you have answered your own question. And that you found some kind of loophole. Obviously if you want data you should upgrade to a plan with data.
