Help Does any one have a updated rom besides damagecontrol? that rom is unstable now but i love it cus the mms and everything works no problem other roms work but no mms ..

I thought that mms was broke on a lot of other roms as well. But really its something borked on your phone. I searched and search for the answer to fix it but couldn't find one.
Damage 8.1 was the only rom that mms worked for me. Till yesterday.
I flashed an official rom then re rooted. Nandroid. Now mms works on all the roms that don't list it as a problem.

Edit. This might be the problem created long ago that is still messed up on your phone somehow.

Ok before posting i did a lot of research to try to find a threaded sms....I know that most of you will say to just upgrade to another rom..problem is that I tried several roms on this thread, and they just did not work for me, they often locked up, or didn't come with features i needed that stock rom has. I had to soft reset over and over hard reset a few times with the other roms.
So now i am just wondering if there is a cab for arcsoft that can be used on the new tmo wing rom?

Hiya guys,
Have been reading up about flashing my touch HD for the last week now, and am pretty ready to flash my Orange HTC. I will most likely go down the USPL method.. but my question is trying to find a 1.19.61.1 WWE Orange original Rom in case I need to go back?
In the wiki it has a rar file for it, but it does not seem to llok official or tested? Does anyone know how I can either back mine up? and possibly post it here? or is anyone in the process of getting a RUU file for Orange 1.19 soon?

that file on the wiki is the signed nbh file
it has to be used with the custumRUU thing
ive not tested so i cant tell you for sure
This would be useful for me as well as thinking about flashing mine
I'd find it useful too, although I've always flashed new ROMs even if I didn't have a way back to a stock ROM
did a search again today and it seems like people did try the one in the wiki.. so am gonna try flashing today!

If you use the one in the wiki you will be fine. I've tried and tested this.
flashed to dutty v2 for now, thought I would wait til the bugs are ironed out for the latest one.. But anyone got all the settings for Orange? I can not get onto Orangeworld anymore as it does not think I have an Orange phone.. have searched and found a few cabs but they did not seem to work.. if anyone has the internet connection settings that would be great..

Same problem here, flashed from orange 1.19 to Davideuk V-2 Topaz and am now denied access to orangeworld. Tried the 1.5 settings and fix from Rabdo linked to above but made no difference. In HD Tweak there is a section to select stock HD id, Orange HD id or another (I forget which). This didn't work either
ended up calling them up and getting all the settings. told them to addd touchHD settings to the web though so hopefully they will do this. If i get a mo, will write settings down here.. thanks for finding the rabdo cab, will try it next time I flash!

I realy am sorry to ask this but was wondering if anybody out there, like me has problems recieving mms when applying a cooked rom.
Im an 02 user in the uk, and can only get mms to work when using a non cooked rom
Ive tried entering settings manualy like other sections of this forum advise but just cant get it to work, so.... If ure an o2 uk user, have a cooked rom applied and able to get mms to work please let me know....

Hi and I want to make everyone clear that this is my first post here at XDA.
This is only for the HTC EVO.
Im making it after several days of reading post and post and eveyone telling me that MMS on metropcs will not work if your phone has a PORT ROOM, exa: virus roms, myns, etc.
I have succesfully been able to achieve this by doing this steps which im going to explain to all of you.
Ok with all that clear lets start:
What you are going to need:
APN MANAGER
HANDCENT SMS
[AllianceROM][r7.3] HybriD 3D[Sense 2.1 OTA
STEPS:
1.Im supposing your phone its flashed already and that you flashed one of many ported roms out there and that your MMS are not working.
2. If you do or dont have any of those roms Im going to give you the one that worked for me ( Again im assuming this will work on VIRUS AND MYNS ROMS AS WELL BUT IM NOT SURE.

Which is a port from the shift and looks almost exactly to SENSE 3.0
3.Follow the steps on that forum on how to install it. Download the one thats NOT MODDED!! Very important!
4.After you do that and your phone boots up, Go ahead and install APN MANAGER From Market.
5.Follow the steps you always followed to get MMS working but never worked.
(note: if you dont know the steps i will post them if you need them)
6.Restar your phone
7.Install HANDCENT SMS
8. Now using HANDCENT SMS you should be able to send and receive MMS on your GB 2.3 SENSE 3.0 ROM.!!

i am not really understanding how to do this, can you please put more instructions on how to do the apn. I have been trying to get my mms working for a minute, but failed every single time.
Yes please be a little more specific as in a step by step listing of exactly what information needs to be entered and where. I personally do not have Metro but came across this site trying to help someone and your a little vague IMO on certain steps.

Same issue for me on x note s5 port rom.
Can send mms but cannot receive
Tried everything possible...trust me
Must be a bug somewhere

I test a lot of secmms_blue and sectelephony from different s5 rom. But i never receive 1mms.
Perhaps a developper can help us?
