Hello forum,
need some help with my SGT.
In the contact application of the SGT how can I put lettersd in the zipcode.
When you tap on zipcode I just get the number pad no letter I even try copy and past but any letter in the zip code is remeved I need to put letters and numbers.
Could someone please tell me how its done.

I think thats the one but without sounding stupid how do you install the files. even when unziped no setup file there
its a cab file. not a zip file. just run it on the phone
Once I've installed the cab file, what do I do to have the phone pad show when composing a text?

it makes it difficult to answer questions without any detail. In theory you just need to choose the phonepad option in the list of available input methods.
If however you are using an orange rom or there might be some others that have a problem with phonepad. Then you need to go into settings, into system, into G4 SIP Hide, Into Sip settings and set Phone Pad to be the default. Then give it a quick soft reset to be sure and now when you select phonepad from the list it should work.
ps. I must have answered this question about 10 times now and i even had a whole thread about this where me and another guy posted all the info and all the files in it.
This was a while ago though so i will let you off. Still a few mins on the search and i am sure it must come up. Then again the search does weird things sometimes. Let me know if any probs.

If you mean instead of the operator logo then there is a program you need named "personalizer 3.1"

search for 3.1 is bringing "no longer supported" threads for ROMs, and Personalizer 2.0. Can you upload the cab, or provide a link with you monster search skills?

To change it without using a program, just modify
\HKLM\System\state\phone\Current Operator to the text you want to be displayed.
Nevermind, that was only a temporary fix until the service provider changes.

I need HELP URGENTLY!!
1. I tried to downloaded the Trial version of CE-Star from "Mobem Technologies", and keyed in my IMEI number, and it keeps telling me that my product serial number is incorrect!!!! - Therefore unable to register!
2. After which all my sms messages turned blank, also cannot see view my internet.
3. I have tried to go to the regional setting, and it was showing me English UK
4. What should I do? Please guide me step by step?
5. Btw, is there any free cracked version of CE-Star where we can download?

i cant open the phone book when create a new sms n cant to send sms to much number, help please
i installed the cyanogen nightly rom(build 50) today and after it starts i find out that the phone is not recognizing my sd card(i tried putting it in my comp wid an adapter n the sd card is working) so i thot of changing my rom but my computer is not recognizing my phone now it says device not found when i try to run recovery-windows file..wat should i do now?how do i change my rom? i dont even mind unrooting it if dats possible(coz my pc isnt recognizing device)..plz help

It could be a god thing if you have also said what is your CID. I could modify the file and send it to you. There is no big deal after all. For hex editing the file you should follow the below steps:
1. Look for a free HEX editor (as someone says, Google is your friend ). You can take one as THIS free editor.
2. Launch editor and open the mtd0.img you have downloaded (as the tutorial says) from HERE.
3. You'll see a screen as in the attached PrtScr. The CID is located at the begining of the file (check in the attached picture, I've surrounded it by a red circle)
4. Click on the first letter then start to change text there to mach your CID and save the file.
5. Done
