[Q] Haptic feedback - Fascinate General

So My Phone isn't vibrating anymore, I don't know what happened but can someone help me? Even in vibrate mode it doesn't vibrate anymore, and there is no haptic feedback, And yes all the haptic feedback options are marked.

Stupidfast kernels break vibration. Install another kernel.
Rockin' DJ05, Minimal Icognito, with Voodoo5

ah thanks

installing a DJ05 kernel on a DI01 rom, or a DI01 kernel on a DJ05 rom causes this.

This is only true if your kernel doesn't match your baseband. If you mix and match DI01/DJ05 kernels are roms you lose haptic. It will work again if you flash the correct version of things. An older stupidfast will work, or a newer DJ05 rom. (I'm assuming you're on DI01)

stupidfast gps toggle

I used the ROM Manager to install the new Black Hole custom rom with a stupidfast kernel (for the DI01, not the DJ05) and I'm having problems with the GPS toggle.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I just go with DJ05 and then a new stupidfast kernel?

Maybe I didn't word it correctly. Is there something wrong with the StupidFast kernel v1.23 for toggling GPS?
Would that pertain to a specific enough kernel question?
I had the same problem with that version. The older versions seemed to run better on my phone.

Just make sure it's a voodoo5 kernel and you'll be good.

SuperClean with Blackhole Changes?

I flashed superclean and then made changes thru the modify option in blackhole. Is that the best way to do this or Should I just stick with one or the other?

Those mods are minor and won't hurt anything. I personally find them quite useful, as they give me access to needed or missing apks, kernels, themes, etc.
For future reference, questions like these belong in the general section

I have blackhole and was applying a mod from superclean. It kinda messed up my phone. YMMV

Trying to flash voodoo to phone....

I'm trying to flash the latest voodoo kernel to my boys fascinate. But it doesn't seem to work like it did when I did it to my mesmerize. Is there a thread that gives you the step by step process? He really wants to use the BLN notification app but we need to do this first. So any help will be greatly appreciated.
voodoo and BLN are two different things. If he is on froyo, we cannot add BLN to it due to lack of source. Once we get source, we will add BLN but until that time all we have in 2.2 kernels is voodoo lagfix, because that can be injected into kernels.
