Anyone know if Motorola has released the source yet? I went to their project page and found the source for Droid, Droid X, Droid 2 Global, and Droid Pro, but nothing for the regular Droid 2. Are we grouped in with the Global?

I've had a Milestone X test unit for a few weeks and it works flawlessly. I've had issues with Droid X themes after deodixing it and getting roms such as Liberty to work with MMS.
I'm a droid x user currently. I'm quite experienced in installing roms. I just need to know quickly if the droid 2 roms work ok on the droid 2 global. thanks... (btw i did search and didn't find an answer on here...)
droid 2 roms will not work on a droid 2 global unless you use the get r done dev teams romer tool, which can be found at droid forums. if you use this though, the sensors wont function, so you will not be able to auto rotate or use the light sensor.
I recently got a milestone x/droid x [Alltel] and I'm on liquid 2.6. It's great, but this s*** reboots by itself RANDOMLY!
Looking online i found out the Droid X is NOTORIOUS for doing this. I also found out that upgrading to CM7 with GB Kernel stops this from happening.
Thing is, this type of flashing for the droid x is much different the the o.g droid i had. And on top of that, I'm with alltel (Milestone X) so I'm not sure what will work and what will not.
Any help on where to start would be great. Thanks.

I'm switch to an unlocked Droid Pro from my Verizon Droid RAZR M. I know this is a downgrade, but I'm switching to a prepaid plan, and I just couldn't handle not having a physical keyboard any more.
I know I'll want to root and ROM my Droid Pro. I used to have a Droid 2 Global and I hated the 2.2/2.3 Motoblur junk that was on it. I never rooted my RAZR M because the newer moto software is actually pretty slick.
What is the smoothest ROM out there for the Droid Pro? CM7?
I think I already found a ported version of Smart Actions (which is great if you haven't tried it), but I'd still like to find a ported version of the Motorola Circles Widget. Anyone know where to find that?
Does Z4root still work for rooting the Pro? I know that used to be in the market.
I'd appreciate any advice about making this phone run as smooth as possible, I'd really like to avoid as many headaches as possible coming from such a newer and faster phone.
