emulators for htc touch diamond????

i bought an htc touch diamond today, and its an amazing phone!!!
i have alot of games and stuff for it....but i haven't been able to figure out how to put emulators on it?? like the pocketgba emulator, ps1 emulator, and the snes emulator.......anyway, if anyone knows how to put an emulator on the diamond (i have the p3700 model unlocked if it makes any difference), please tell me how, and give me the links!
and if anyone knows of any good 3d games, that aren't "demos" or trials" can ya tell me where to get 'em? cause i got some and they were crap....all racing games though.
and one more question....i downloaded .exe games (such as yabgbt and touchdown and the cod2 game)....and i can't figure out how to put some of the .exe files on...errors keep popping up when i try to run the .exe files on my PC to put them on my diamond saying that the file isn't a real microsoft executable or something.
i have gotten some exe's to run, but others.....no luck at all.
and i know that the cod2 ppc game isn't easy to install and theres something you have to do to specific dll files but i didnt get it.....sorry for being such a noob, and if there's another question on the forums like mine, please don't get pissed, i checked 20 pages of forums for an answer, and googled it but nothing came up
i'm clueless.... ....so can ya clue me in?
thanks in advance.
The first thing you need to do is think of a better user name....
second .... install the newest .net framework ... you need this to run a good chunk of games and programs you will find here ... it's a simple install, and it's about the easiest thing you can do to your phone
after you install that restart your phone and most of your emulators will work...if a windows mobile application or game is an EXE you downloaded from the internet...you need to install it via active sync...so if you haven't already install the CD that came with your phone on your computer, then plug in your phone while active sync is open and install the exe through active sync (the active sync help file can answer any more questions you might have on that)
and also I would download the latest Prince of Persia for windows mobile...runs AWESOME on the diamond, easily the best graphics on any game I've seen on WM
hey..
i'm fairly new on xda dev myself and i own a touch diamond too. i was wondering if there are any java games designed for the resolution of the htc td?????
cheers!
thanks!!
this helped alot!!
you're obviously experienced with this....so do you know of any tower defence games that are freeware?
i keep finding "asgard defence". i put it on my phone and its AMAZING but i dont have 10 bucks to spend on it right now. :\

Enhanced D3D Driver

Here is an Enhanced D3D Driver for our Touch Pro2. Before you install driver run the D3DDemo file from your phone. Extract D3DMDemo.exe and copy it anywhere on your phone (Storage Card is good). Run it and see how slow it runs with the default D3D Driver. Then install At0mAng Enhanced D3D Driver.cab, restart and run the D3DMDemo again and see the difference
Enjoy!
Just to make things clear. I did not develop the driver, it was from the Samsung Omnia and the libgles_CL.dll comes from NuShrike. I have been using it since my TyTN II days, gave it a shot on the Rhodium and it worked. I did not see it in this forum so I cabbed it up (was OEM in my kitchen) and posted it.
The cab file contains two dlls both from the D3DM driver and the correct registry settings for d3dm_ati.dll.
To learn more about this driver and to try newer releases please see this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=496528
There have been a few reports that the drivers from above thread break a couple of things like the G-Sensor with Opera so I am posting back the original file I had up. Strange since I do not have that problem with the latest drivers from the above thread.
It's up to you to decide which drivers you would like to use.
Rocks!
TF3D is realy faster.

Cool...glad it is working on other devices.
Been using this driver since the TyTN II then to Raphael and now on to Rhodium Not sure if it is a good or bad thing that the same driver works on the last 3 devices I have...
Wow! It really worked and the M3D really is faster!
Cheers mate!

On the Telus (MSM7600) it went from 0.85 ish FPS to a smooth test. Very dramatic change
Same for me here too
is it really faster?
does it mean, that the video-playback is also better?
TF3D is using OpenGL ES or Direct3D? If it's written for OpenGL ES the new drivers should not have any impact over it. It's only my opinion.
Any ideas?
Just to let you know I also went from 0.75 FPS to about 25 FPS.
Crazy change, just don't notice much difference in TF3D.
what's the difference between this and neo's beta 3d driver pack?

Same opinion. But I cannot see fps in the demo after installing the new driver.
The increase in fps is recognizible high in the demo. The object first is absolutely stuck without the driver. With the driver installed it runs fluidly.
in this demo I have a big boost with this driver !!
Whith games work with that driver? My old quake dont work on my TP2
Will this work on MSM 7201 chipset as well? I don't want to make hardreset again if something will going wrong on my TP1. Thanks.
Edit>
Nevermind,I tried it. Unfortunately no visible change happens on Raphael.
No Change
It made no difference on my Touch Pro 1
I installed it on Touch Pro2 and test runs a lot faster. And also TouchFLO 3D runs more smoothly. I don't know why, but it's really faster. I think TF3D2 uses OpenGL-ES and Direct3D driver can't change it's performance.

Strange I thought it should so I have been using it with my TP1. I never did try the demo though to see if it actually worked.
great great work At0mAng
i have tested in my HD and workly very very well
Difference in the Demo is quite noticeable.

will this driver accelerate need for speed undercover or xtrakt as well?
Seems to work awsome. Thanks.

Help me, a game.

Hi, I install experiment13 on my touch diamond. When I try to launch the game, it starts and auto exit into my home screen. I need help.
Im running windows mobile 6.5, bsb's rom.
Hi, it's most likely a memory issue. Experiment 13 needs quite alot of memory to run. Try using cleanRAM lvl2 sweep before playing and if that fails, disable tf3d and/or titanium. This works for me.
Does Experiment13 support VGA? I thought it's a WVGA-only game? Oo
Thanks for all your help, but I still can't get the game to run.
After clicking on the game, it just off automatically. ):
Hi everyone
Did someone find how to fix this problem?
I tried to install "ACE - WM6.5 Games Fix" and "ATI 3D driver". I also deasactivated Titanium and used RAM Sweeper!
I'm running on WM6.5 - BsB 6.5.1G.
thank you in advance
melvintwj this game don't run on this ROM because drivers neos 2007 ver 3 it cause :/ and Experiment need only toward 10mb RAM :]

Driver to get my mobile faster

I'm using a basic WinMo 6.5 on a TP2 unbranded phone. I am using an emulator to play PSX games on my phone, but the games are running @ ~30 FPS.
I've been redirected to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416474
I've been told to install this on my TP2 to make my emulator run like 20% smoother. But it's a Samsung Omnia D3D Driver, is it okay to install it on my HTC TP2? If so, how must I install this, just by installing the SJ D3D Mobile Sample.cab, or do I need to enable it somewhere on my phone (settings)?
Also are there any cons/bugs known for changing drivers on the phone? And is it easy to revert my phone to it's standard driver?
Shameless bump.
Install and find out, you can always hard reset. As always backup all your stuff first.

This is why I basically made this thread, to see if people already have tried this instead of doing it myself in order to save me time.

it should be fine.. just install it and test.. besides i'm sure you can uninstall it if it doesnt work for you.

i hope someone can help me

i'm using toshiba G810..wm6.5.3
i have a question that is can my phone use sense 1.2/1.5/2.1
how can i use sense?
another qusetion.i crashed when i use xdandroid..
is there any method to help me to use android? i dont' want android kid..
please help me!
From what little information I can find about your device, I doubt you can run Sense on your device. The G180 has a QVGA screen, so it won't be able to run any version of TF3D other than the original QVGA port of TouchFLO 3D. It's probably not going to work though, as TF3D pretty picky about what it runs on, what requirements it has, etc. My advice is that it's not worth it, and you should maybe look of TouchFLO 2D.
XDAndroid is designed for a select few HTC devices, like the Raphael, Blackstone, Diamond, Rhodium, and Topaz. XDAndroid will only work on those devices at this time, as hardware support must be added for each additional device for it to work. Using it on another device, like your Toshiba Portege G180, will not work. The only way for it to work is if developers port XDAndroid to your device, there's nothing you can do to make it work.
