Data on Demand not working fine?

I'd read in some thread here about this app, y tried it. But it doesn't seem to work properly in auto-switch mode. Data turns on again when tha screen is off.
(I've unistalled switchpro widgets btw, but still the same)
Does it work fine for anyone?
Thanks in advance
Just found the solution: in "APN type--Default,supl" just deleted ",supl" and left "default" and now works fine.

[Q] Replacement of stock browser on 10.1v

Hi,
Anyone with a rooted 10.1v already tried to replace the stock browser with the one that is shipped with any other honeycomb device? I miss the Lab Quick controls badly (it doesn't work on any firmware I tried, not on the one it came with, not on the newer version Chainfire provided) and was thinking that a simple replacement with another stock browser would solve this. But before going through the hassle of rooting the tab I just want to know if someone tried this already.
Any valuable response gets 3 thanks on the counter
I tried it with my I/O tab. Did not work at all =[

Bad news. So the quick control doesn't work on the I/O tab either?
You are saying that Galaxy Tabs don't have quick controls in browser!?

Well, it does contain an option to turn it on in the Lab settings, it just doesn't work. Just a bug, that, I'm sure, will be ironed out at some point.

Thats strange. It works great on Xoom, both Android 3.0.1 and 3.1.
They work, but ONLY in portrait mode

On the I/O tab, we don't even have an option to turn it on. There are no "labs" settings at all. And when I said "did not work at all" I meant that the browser did not work at all.. not that the quick controls did not work. The browser just force closed immediately.

Which browser did you try? The Xoom browser? Anyway think I'm going to root my device and do some experiments. I really miss those controls.
Did you log the FC?

Awesome! This should be placed on the 2.1 thread, the percent icon is butt-ugly.
Had to restore the precentage icon... after applying this, I lost the selection box for gallery etc... like when you click video or image from a file manager, android asks for what program to open it with (if you have not set default program)... this dialog seems to open in background... the screen darkens etc. But it will not bring the selection box in front.. also setting the wallpaper will not show the cropping screen...
After restore, all is OK

Also, maybe a stupid question/comment... this rom is deodexed, should this be done just by replacing images not the whole apk... or have I misunderstood the deodexing?

This is a bug in 3.2. Enable autorotate, rotate the screen and the dialog will appear.

I'll have te dig into this as I get to my Xoom. I'm not sure about the deodexing... I tough that as the apks are like zip -files and they contain all the resources needed, like images, that the system apks would have been "unpacked" to the system thus making theming easy... but with quick reading on my phone while walking the dog, it seems that deodexing is more complicated...

Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16418425&postcount=217
I made it directly from the hammerhead rom files, and have been using it for over a week now, with no compatibility issues.
Good Luck!

Removing recommended shortcuts?

How do we go about removing the short cuts upon connecting headphones. On my S3 it used to be a option on accessories now it's gone.

Either one of these works. Samsung had to go and remove the setting from the accessories setting.

OK google setup not working

I am not able to enable "Ok google" always on. Its greyed out. Tapping doesn't do anything on it.

Same here, I heard it's a Samsung lollipop bug
OK Google working
I posted this in another thread, but here (This is for the Sprint Note 4 on LP)
So, I got mine to work in the most odd way possible
When I updated to LP, I went OTA. I then decided to do a system wipe of LP and start over, so I did a titanium backup of all system apps and data
When I restored my system apps, I chose NOT to restore the data. This is when I noticed the OK Google was grayed out (I remember before this it was working in LP)
So what I did was this:
I went into titanium backup, selected "restore all system data", I then chose to deselect all. Once they are all unchecked ONLY check the restore for Google Play Services 6.x.xxxxx
It will restore, once it does this it may say that GPS crashed, you can ignore it. Go ahead and reboot the system and VIOLA! If you now go into google settings from the app draw and to the now, the always on option is available to be turned on
I can not believe it worked, I figured I would try it since I already had a nandroid of LP.
PS: Use at own risk, results may differ, if you have TWRP, MAKE A NANDROID. But like I said, it worked perfect for me!

Personally, I just disabled it using Settings -> Application Manager and rebooted, and was able to turn it on. It's stayed on ever since, although it doesn't work for me when the screen is off...
