I wasn't able to get this flashing using Odin. It caused Odin to hang at cache.rfs. As soon as I tried to flash with another CSC Odin worked a treat.

Could some1 upload the modem for Australia. I think its JP3. Thanks

Hi,
Sorry all, looks like the original was corrupted. This one is working,
http://www<dot>megaupload.com/?d=IEF3JYPQ

Working CSC in first post.
Tested working on JPU/JPX.
Flash with Oidin after booting phone once.

i tried to flash using odin and it just stuck there for soo long and i had to cancel the flashing..
the files that i have are :
MODEM_I9000DTJP3.tar.md5
CODE_I9000DTJP5.tar.md5
CSC_I9000XSAJP4.tar
so far the other 2 files seems okay, but not the third one. any thoughts?

Damn, really old thread!
In my previous post, you can download the OPS csc. Good for Optus/Virgin

i'm sorry, i PM the original poster and no reply so I had to ask here.
Anyway, this CSC OPS belongs to Optus rite? I read that they contain Optus apps, and I would prefer not to have any optus apps..
alternatively, is there a way to extract the CSC from a galaxy s?
sorry again for any inconveniences!

No Optus apps in that mate. Only included app is Navigon.
You get to chose which network to connect to after first boot. Just give it a minute or two. (Either Optus or Virgin)
I just flashed it with the new Gingerbread.

I9000B - After the upgrade, it's slow

Hello everybody, I'm a problem, after updating my i9000b that he was simply too slow. I tried to pass other firmware, but did not return. The lag is plus or minus 10 seconds.
I ask for help at all, do not know what to do.
PS. I got the firmware on the site samfirmware.
Thanks, and sorry for English.
I'm trying to apply this in my rom now

Have you tried to wipe your phone after flashing it? Did you use the Pit file in odin while flashing? If not, try to flash the firmware with the Pit file. But use the Pit file if the fw is in three files, NOT by single file firmwares.
that's NOT the right firmware for your device...
does it have a Digital TV?

[Repair firmwares]

I found this on the web, it's listed as "repair firmware"
I think it's good for if you've bricked your phone too much, then flash it with ODIN :highfive:
The GT-I8190 (International version) is here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vy87krsmj45m58y/I8190XXAMA2_OJVAMC3_Arabic_4.1.2_com.rar
Other versions are found here (listed as repair firmwares in red text):
http://www.tsar3000.com/Joomla/inde...iii-mini-firmwares&catid=55:samsung&Itemid=82
(If you the file should be "premium download only" then just google the firmware )
Odin
PIT to PIT
CSC file to CSC
DATA file to AP or PDA
(tick repartition, auto reboot, f.reset time (not more))
Flash with ODIN 1.85 if other versions don't do the trick. Thanks to @mattiawhite for the ODIN version tip!
why not to download stock firmwares from sammobile, here is really everything + download speed is pretty decent
and HEREyou can find pit file for both "pure" and "N" version
does anybody have L version pit file? just to complete list here?

I want to flash the latest firmware for the S7 Edge - https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/122404/G935FXXU1DQB3_G935FOXA1DQB1_BTU/
Anything I must pay attention in Odin or just flash it the normal way?
Also, in the instructions they say to use odin v3.11.1, is it ok if I use the latest odin which is v3.12.3, or it's better if I use the version they used to avoid any surprise problems?

Flash stock ROM on SAMSUNG Galaxy S20+ 5G Exynos G986B/DSM

Hello everyone,
I'm new here, so please bear with me, and I'm sorry in case this thread is duplicated, but I searched everywhere and I could not find anything about what i'm going to write here.
I got a new galaxy S20+ 5G Exynos phone on 18-May-2020, since then I tried every single online tutorial or thread to flash a stock ROM on my phone, and nothing worked, the flash show pass on odin but it just did factory reset to my phone, that's it.
I used Odin 3.14.1 and Odin3_v3.14.1_3B_PatcheD
I enabled developer options, OEM unlocking and USB debugging
I downloaded the stock firmware from sammobile website.
Now, I understand that my phone CSC code is XSG , and I'm trying to flash the phone with a firmware CSC code is DBT , but i used to do this a lot before.
So, What is the issue exactly?, What I'm doing wrong?, What I did or thought wrong?
The help and guidance are really highly appreciated.
Thank You
Regards

Both dbt and xsg is under omc.

Here's a guide to extract the required csc file and how to put it in your phone and get it to work.
There is also other ways to do it. In fact there is many many many ways of you bothered to search for it using a simple search engine. The method is the same for samsung s8 onwards. There is also countless YouTube videos.
There is even an app that can do it on Google play store that doesn't require root if you bothered to search.

Hello,
First of all, You need to chill out a little man, I'm a Linux Systems Engineer, So I understand and I appreciate everything that everyone is doing in here, and I did not mean to bother anyone or to disrespect anyone.
I did pass across all of these links, and none of them worked with me, also my phone is SM-G986B/DS NOT SM-985F , plus, most of these links are outdated, my phone HW version is March-2020, and these links since 2018.
Sometimes it is OK to say I do not know, because it seems that there is something different in my phone which i do not know what is it.
Thank you
I really appreciate your time trying to help me.

Hello,
This Where I get the firmware --> www.sammobile.com
This is where I got the software to do or change advanced settings on my phone, also has the ability to flash the phone too. --> https://chimeratool.com
Hi @ahmed.elsersi
Did you by any chance try adapting the process on this thread for the S9+? I'm in a similar situation, need to change an XSG phone to TEL or XSA, and considering giving this a try.
Cheers..
Don't waste your money on chimeratool. Use sam key to change the csc, minimum you can buy is 3 credits which i think is about $5 Aud. But it only takes 1credit for a csc change. You can keep the reset of the credit for the future use, if you want to go back to your old Csc.
I changed my TEL ( Telstra Australia)csc which is the slowest carrier to get an update to DBT (one of the first to get an update) and also now my s20ultra has 2 sims and 1 esim option. Happy Happy!
