[Q] Turn off task manager in notification shade? - G2 and Desire Z General

Is there any way of turning off the task manager in the pull-down notification window shade? I'm satisfied with long pressing the home button to get to the task manager, and I have enough items in my notifications cluttering it up...

[Q] Notification animation speed?

Is there any way to speed up the notification popup? I keep hitting the statusbar with my thumb (aiming for the spacebar when typing, and I've even turned off the softkeys notification popup button) and it takes most of a second to scroll up so I can send it away. I've turned off all the animations in Spare Parts and CyanogenMod settings.
I've tried putting the statusbar on top, I don't like it, but I may have to get used to it just to avoid this.
Alternatively, is there any way to make the notifications popup not fullscreen? It would go faster if it didn't have to scroll up the whole screen.
Thanks!

[Q] Hide Tethering Notification

Quick question,
I just happen to get a Glass and it is setup for Bluetooth tethering all the time when I'm out of a WiFi zone. I wanted to know if there is a way to hide the persistent notification in the notification bar.
Usually I would long press and go into app info and disable notifications but this is an Android System app so that option is not allowed.
I have no problem downloading an app that could hide it or at least make it transparent like with Power Toggles.
Rooted N4 running stock Android
Thanks

[Q] Disable notification shade like in Chrome fullscreen mode

My app is a kiosk mode app that already has the home button and the recent apps disabled. The notification shade is also disabled... to a point. So I want to know how I can make it like how Chrome disables the notification shade when a full screen video is playing, or if that's not accessible to developers. Basically is there code that will disable the notification shade completely?

Can't use apps such as Notification Toggle or Power Notifications

Hi guys,
I need your help. I can't seem to keep notification toggles on the P8Lite, I literally have to activate apps such as "cool symbols" as they just won't stick to the notifications.
I've installed and activated the likes of notification toggle and power toggles" all of which are there for as long the screen stays on. I do have a feeling its a permissions issue and don't know how to ensure that these are kept on the notification panel.
Please assist, are they any working alternatives while we're at it?
Thanks a bunch.

Swipe to remove notifications

When I pull down to view the notifications thread and remove a notification by swiping right is there a way to make it stay gone without having to go to the actual app and view the notification? Unless I go to the app the same notification appears again.
Does it appear immediately or after some time?
Some apps do have a repeat notifications function.
