Opening the Calender during a phonecall

i'm in a phone conversation, and someone asks me if I'm available on a certain date, i would want to check my calendar to see if i'm available.
i wanted to do this yesterday but after looking for more then a minute (while the call was open) i gave up.
does anyone know how to do this or even if it is possible???
(so open my calendar during a phone conversation)
pin it to the start menu
push hardware home button. then hit calendar on home screen. hit call hardware button or phone status in task bar on touch screen to get back to dialer screen.
I have the calendar in the start program. Everyone by default also has the "Today" on line one of the start menu, which will minimize the phone, take you to home screen, and allow you to open Tasks (or in your case, calendar). Finally, use the close button (X in upper right) to close the phone. It doesn't disconnect the phone.

thx for the replies guys!

X1 Calender error when menu is pressed

I have a problem on the X1 which happens every time I press the "menu" button on the bottom right side of the screen when I am in a calender appointment. The menu freezes and I cannot access any of the options such as deleting or editing the appointment. If I press ok it takes a very long time to get back to the main home screen.
I am using WM6.1, and SPB mobile shell 3.0.1 [Final Release]. Is this problem just happening to me? I think this may have something to do with SPB mobile shell 3 but not sure.
Thanks

missing icons Tmobile USA

hi i new to this but when i got my phone second hand someone had already put a different rom on it (kumars). its cool and i like it but today something strange happened. I am now missing a couple of icons such as if you hit start there was a padlock icon to lock the screen. it is now gone but you can still press the area and it will lock. secondly, when you press the call button to go into the make call menu, the "menu" icon is gone. you press the area and it works. strangly enough, when you press the area the "close" icon will appear

One touch dialing?

I'm not able to find the option for one-touch dialing. Is it not possible to do in the 6.5 ROMs?
I believe the feature you're looking for is called Speed Dial. Try these steps:
1. Press the "Phone" option (or the leftmost button on the bottom of the HD2) on the bottom left of the home screen.
2. On the next screen, press the "Menu" option on the bottom right of the screen
3. Choose the option "Speed Dial"
4. On the next screen, choose the "Menu" option at the bottom right of the screen to setup a new Speed Dial number
I'm running Spb Mobile Shell and so there isn't a Menu button in your Step 2 but on a lark after reading your instructions I pressed to the left of the OK button in far right corner along the bottom, and a Menu popped up with Speed Dial in it. Thanks for your help!
No problem, and you're welcome.
