I'm running an XDA2 with the 02 1.60.00WWE ROM with ExtROM 1.60.50. However I seem to be unable to use the scroll button on the today screen at all. I'm sure I used to be able to do this on my XDA1 and possibly on an older ROM version of the XDA2.
This is very annoying as it means that I can't use the today screen with one hand but need the stylus to scroll down the page. The scroll button works as normal on all other apps.
Anyone out there with the same problem.
Thanks, Hasnain
if you by scroll botton mean the down on the action key then that have never worked like that on my xda1 or 2
if you mean the scroll botton as in the small button on the screen under the scroll bar then that have always worked for me
I mean the 'oval' button between the answer and end call buttons below the screen.
thats the action button
and that never scrolled the today screen on my xda1 or 2
hi
some times the touch screen has a mind of its own and starts pressing buttons, or options itself with out me doing anything...
also if i go into my inbox the 1st message is highlighted with out me touching it... if i then try to open another message it'll just open the 1st one that is highlighted...
when typing a new message, i open the contacts part to add a number but pressing a name just highlights it, press it again and it un-highlights...
its driving em mad!
ive cleaned the screen, soft-rebooted (little button at the bottom), aligned the screen
please help if possible.. thank you!
the green button>right shortcut to get to the speed dial menu isnt working! makes for ****ty one handed use. also, when i click any of the (ok) buttons, it goes to the today screen.
please help me fix speedial!
Hi everyone! As the title says, for some strange reason this morning my 'Home' button won't work from any application, the button however does make the screen light up and the buttons light up, but does not take you back to the home screen... also, when at the home screen, the dial button would usually bring the contacts or the dialer page up, but this is not working either, however, if I go into the contacts shortcut on the home screen and select a contact and press the dial button there, it will call them...
so basically, my main issue is the Home button not working!
Its not rooted *yet* and is therefore running a standard rom, it does have a fair few apps installed tho, but I have used the advanced task manager to close everything... I'm v' new to all this Android stuff as up until a few months ago, I was a Windows Mobile person with my previous SPV's and HTC's so any help would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks, Adam.
Hello guys!
Lately I'm observing a strange problem. When I flash a new ROM and it boots up, on the setup phone screens, after entering my google account details, the navigation bar doesn't work. I'm talking about the screens that are shown in the attachment.
So I can not select the apps that I want to restore. I've to go ahead with installing all the apps again. Once the restoring process it done, I do not have any problem with the navigation bar. (I can also use the button in landscape mode). But I'm confused why is this happening while flashing a ROM only
I've tried with different ROMs.
Has anyone faced such an issue?
I noticed a similar thing. The menu for restoring pops up in a full screen mode and it is actually under the navigation bar. It turns out that there is a little spot in that menu where you can just tap through to the "OK" button. (Try tapping above the OK button when you're done with selecting your apps).

Click to collapse
Thanks buddy! I'll try this next time. I was starting to think if it's problem with the touch screen of my mako
