Hey all,
When I flash my phone, Titanium does not show up... When I try do disable Titanium and enable the (good?) old WM5 home screen, everything is fine! But when I re-enable Titanium, and press my "home" button, nothing shows up and I keep seeing the screen where I was...
On any screen it's always the same story, hitting home brings me to a "screenshot" (wich is not a cool feature )
Thanks,
MadMatt

Did you modify your Titanium CPRs?
Syntax errors in cpr files like a missing quotation mark will lead in not loading Titanium. Same applies to errors in the registry part of Titanium.
If you modified your Titainium get the default Titanium cpr files and see if they work.
cheers

Hi, guys, as nowadays we have the M2D run on our polaris. So I plan to remove the htchome by cooking.
I found 4 files related with htchome:
HTCHome.dll
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui
HTCHomeSettings.dll
HTCHomeSettings.xmlI just deleted them, built my rom, generated the nbh file without errors.
Then I flashed my polaris, when finishing flashing the device stuck at the "Tap here to launch TouchFlo", I tap and it said "Launching TouchFlo", after a while back to the "Tap here to launch TouchFlo". Did the M2D have to use htchome to work?
Or any experts can tell me how to remove htchome totally when cooking? Appreciate!
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
which rom are you using how bse to cooking?
If you use original Wm6.1 you only need to delete htchome cab in \oem\oemapps folder and delete his installation string from config_ap.txt in same folder!

hi,
those file are no relation with HTC HOME PLUGIN, they are HTC home engine witch is necessary to all HTC today plugins, so if you want remove HTC home today plugin from original ROM just remove .cab file from OEMAPPS directory.
regards
Thanks for your response. I'm using 3.13.755CS from c_shehar.

I got it. but one question, those 4 files are not related with the M2D or other application, right?

Thanks xmod
Hi xboxmod
Great job man~
It work on my diamond.
Thanks a lot
You did it! Only glitch, you have to tap "Tap here to start TF3D" after soft reset... however, impressive! A bunch of people will thank you, and I'm one of those!
So last thing to fully port HD to Diamond is the list of letters on the right when you scroll for example in "select city" weather tab... it's too long, is it just a matter of resize like that in the HD weather panel to actually see the 5 days icons on the bottom?
Awesome work!
PS. maybe you can add a reg to avoid the manila show in the TaskManager:
[HKCR\Software\HTC\TaskManager\ExclusiveList\System]
"manila2.exe"=dword:0
not bad.. quick and easy bro!
i see that it basically cuts outs the steps that was needed to run the app, cause the keyboard pops up.
either way..thanks for this!

Hi xboxmod, really thanks for your work. Unfortunately, after i installed the cab, my manila.exe keep crashing even i tried your manila.zip attached. Please help if you feel free....
1. My windows folder manila.exe is 3mb... why ur attached one just 12kb?
2. I have 7mb free space before install the cab , after install and uninstall this cab i only have 4.xmb left, which files i can delete ?? (Now i restore my 3mb manila.exe and i can't see any manila2.exe in my windows folder.)
Again, thanks for your effort and i still want to make it work anyway....
thank you, works like charm so far!
yet it´s not that small (3mb), luckily I have enough space due to custom rom ;-)

HI
my cab contain 2 files
manila.exe (my loader)
& manila2.exe (quartz tf3d executable)
my loader work like this:
the today plugin call manila.exe (12kb)
then manila.exe call manila2.exe the real manila executable!
so be sure to delete manila.exe before install the cab
& use only Mun_rus manila or hd manila
Nice work Xboxmod.
Could you share the complete package of your manila?
Thx work excellent? Does it restart at 0 atomaticually?
Great work =)

hi
nothing localized
work in all languages.
does anyone know how to make titaniumplugin oemsthat work in a kitchen to cook roms i tried to install and oem that i made but i was unsuccessful. please help.
Even I am trying to get/make a OEM of titanium plugins
I think the problem with trying to do titanium plugins as OEM packages is the fact that each plugin edits the .cpr files so you'll end up with the wrong .cpr file by the time its all said and done.
At least thats the conclusion I came to when it never worked for me.
well the problem i was having is duplicate files the only success i have had so far is to make packages for each plug-in then manually merge them into one package so they share the main duplicate files this has worked for me but it is very time consuming as you need to merge rgu files for reg settings and initflashfiles.txt for the short cuts
I have this working in my titanium shadow neo rom for htc prophet
yep looks like its quite difficult or impossible to have oem's of titanium plugins

Not really, What i did in my rom (TCHome):
Created Oempackage for:
Atfavecontacts
Notifications
Quick Launcher
CDigiclock
blisstheme
And i made just 1 package for the titanium cpr file and a regfile which defines the order of the plugins
Doesnt matter if you dont include a package.

could you post the packages u have? thnx alot
Yeah I knew it is possible to create the OEM of the titanium plugins.
@ tommy34 : Can you please let us know how did you managed to add the plugins into the rom.
Or rename each defaul.plg to XXX.plg
Then using add2config.txt (autorun or runcc required) add the lines for launching the installer whith the new plg (place both in wnidows to avoid spaces)
to make an oem package for a titanium plugin what i did was use just regular cab2oem to put to make the oem. then to add cpr data i used mortscript on first boot to run appinstallers like so.
(from mort file being run on first boot)
RunWait( "\Windows\ATPluginInstaller.exe","-i Contacts.plg")
RunWait( "\Windows\ATPluginInstaller.exe","-i Notifications.plg")
in each oem u will need to rename the plg from Default.plg to whatever u want .plg like above.
Hi all,
It's just been pointed out to me by a user that the Phone Settings icon is missing from my Settings folder in the Start Menu, and pressing Menu>Options from the HTC dialer does nothing (the phone settings are completely missing). I'm cooking 23554 with Sense 2.5 (Rhodium 2.07) for the Blackstone, and I've included PhoneSetting 6_23_0_3 which looks to contain all the right band/pin etc pages. The only thing I can see in the app.reg which may be of use is:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\Controls Folder\RemoveDefaultPropertySheet]
"Phone"=dword:4
But I have no idea if this value is right or wrong - I've made no edits to PhoneSettings from the original kitchen I downloaded so it ought to be right.
Anybody know why Phone Settings is missing for me?

you have to remove the redirect from reg, here is a pkg you can put in the kitchen that does it for you

hello fellow chefs
i have a problem with cookie home tab 1.7
i made a ext from the cab just like i did with all cabs
i left out manillafull.xml just like cookie has stated in his post
but now when i cook a rom cookie mods dont show up
i see in the right top corner the pages indicator of the quicklink pages
and i see the manilla slider on the bottom and i can slide to all tab(all tabs give the scren they should give except home screen)
i also put in cht editor and when i make changes to the quicklinks the get changed
but i dont see time, date, weather, etc, etc of allt he things that is supposed to be shown on home tab
can some oen share a working ext for cookie home tab 1.7
thansk in advance
edit: i attach the package i use now and some pics
Here use my packages , I didnt remove manillafull.xml when I cooked it in. I put CHTEditor in aswell, youir going to want to change its locations in the app.dat if you dont want it going to tools.
Also you want to add a reg tweak so CHT finds CHTEditor in the manila softkeys:
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"CHTE.Path"="\\Program Files\\CHTEditor\\CHTEditor.exe"

Notes for ROM cooking:
Don't cook in the file "ManilaFull.xml". Originally it's a manila cache file that's generated on start up (based on the xml files in \windows\manilaxml\).
This file should never be cooked in because it will prevent changes to manila pages and menus.
The "ManilaFull.xml" in the cab is an empty file. It's only there to make manila regenerate it after install, because I've made changes to the home menu.
So make sure not to cook in that file in any form.
