Gmail not syncing? - myTouch 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As of this morning I am able to receive email but cannot send it through Gmail. It lingers in outbox and happens on 3g and wifi. Rebooting didn't help.
Anyone else see this? Market problems yesterday, Gmail problems today, oh my!

Email problems driving me crazy

Getting email ASAP is important for me but that is not happening with my phone. Had the phone for 4 days and the first few days it was fine but when I woke up yesterday morning I noticed I had no notifications. During the day I did not get any either. I have two Hotmail accounts and a Gmail but nothing with either unless I go in and refresh each account. Using the stock email app and tried to change the auto refresh times to no luck.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I allways use k9 mail instead of gmail or stock mail app. K9 allways seems instant to me where the other would lag.
Tested it useing my work phone (blackberry) sending emails to my phone was instant with k9 and could yake 10-20 min on others.

Gmail on Aria

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, it seemed appropriate.
I have the Aria with CM6 RC1 and I was noticing that my Gmail (and the notification on my phone) both say I have two unread emails but nothing is in the inbox. Is this an issue with my phone or with the Gmail app?
Thanks in advance.

I have had other problems with gmail. Sent messages rarely make it out of the phone, and when they do, there are duplicates sent. I avoid gmail and use it only for market billing notices.
That's strange. my email always gets sent, and my notifications are always spot on

G2 email app FC's polling IMAP mail.

Anyone else seeing this in the email app? This just started happening this week. The mail provider is AOHell, so that could have something to do with it.
Would logcat give me anything useful?

Well, K9 mail doesn't FC on me, so I'm switching to it. A free bonus is that it will pull yahoo mail as well, so the only email I can't easily pull is my work Email (IMAP/POP3 email disabled on our Lotus Notes servers). Not bad for free.

I'm having the same problem with my yahoo emails not syncing up.

Email app has stopped recieving mail

For some bizarre reason my s4 has just stopped recieving mail. I have checked all the sync settings etc and all normal. Mail is still going through to webmail but I can't get the phone to receive it. Any ideas?

Which email in particular you are not getting pushed to your phone? gmail, hotmail, yahoo?
It's my sky mail which is powered by yahoo . I changed it back to a pop3 account and it worked again but for some reason the imap has randomly stopped recieving. It was working fine and I really need imap to work as it has all my folders.

Is there a specific email in particular? Such as gmail, hotmail etc?
Don't get what you mean. If I configure the built in mail app to use imap then it doesn't receive any mail at all
