I lost my network connection (only get the explamation point on all roms/buids/radios/ect/)and usually connect my android to my other phone any way bc i dont have 3g.
Any one have any recommendations of a rom with that feature.
I ran across this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7716862&postcount=24
update zip but im not sure how to install it. I used to put my galaxy into bootloader mode but no idea on the hd2.
If you want to connect to an ad-hoc network, any ROM will do it.

hi .ad- hoc is an connection computer to computer with wifi without an access point for sharing internet and files without wifi router but this just need network card...can you understand??????
I installed "Barnacle" from market, because WIFI tethering wasn't working.
This program starts an Ad-hoc network on WIFI that shares the phones data connection.
It has been a problem in official releases for long. It was said that CM had already added Ad-hoc support in their latest versions, but I am not sure because I haven't tested them in Typhoon 3.5.3 yet. I think I'll need it too.

I just tried ROM:
[23.JAN.12] [cLK][MAGLDR] Android 2.3.3 Sense 2.1 NAND (Desire HD 2.50.405.2)
and i cannot run wifi hotspot functionality. When hotspot is started it reboots phone (soft restart), after that hotspot cannot be started (error) until hardware retart is done.
then all over again
I tried with wireless thether versions 2.0.6 and 2.0.7, no luck.
with 2.06 lapotp connects but cannot get internet acces (limited conectivity).
any advices ?
I started this thred only because 10 post rule, normally i would post into ROM's thread
any help would be appreciated.
btw. ROM looks and feels very very nice - expect problem described.
Update
I just tested out that barnacle application works:
szym.net
However ROM thread should be updated that wifi hotspot (built in) is not working
have a nice day
newest feedback,
I cannot get Wifi to work, I can see networks but cannot connect: message cannot connect to network.
Mine laptop connects without an issue
Can anyone share any light on the matter, as i cannot post any question to developers thread.
any halp would be appreciated.

hi guys
When I use Android 2.3, I can connect to adhoc wifi network by flashing this: View attachment ADHOC.v2.zip
But when I upgrade to Android 4.0 I can't connect through an adhoc network.
I'm using Blackout 3.1
Plz, hep me. Thanks a lot
