OK, I know rgv151 has his modified MMS app and so does Koush. I'm wondering how hard it would be to add just signature support to the stock MMS app? I hate having to use Handcent or ChompSMS just for signature and I would much rather use the stock app with signature support. I want to build it into my ROM as well. I tried using rgv151's but its outdated and forgotten. Its not compatible with Froyo. Koush's doesn't have signature support. Anyway, I want to modify my stock mms app (from CM source) and add signature support. I hate to sound more like a n00b but, could someone give me tips on how to do this? Or at least point me in the right direction?
I don't know if it helps but currently I'm running:
Motorola Sholes (Droid 1)
CM 6.2 or my ROM RyanTBDMod V0.3 (Heavily based on CM)
Since I'm on a new username I can't post to the development forums so have to post here.
I just installed the latest full build of cmylxgo's hd stock desire build but none of the sites work with Adobe flash 10.1 or with updated 10.2. Browser crashes, sign saying flash not supported etc.
I can't uninstall the flash that comes with this build as uninstall is greyed out. When I try to go into system/apps to delete it there I get permission errors.
Can someone please assist?
Unfortunatelly I don't have permissions to reply in this topic, so I created this one.
I have Installed CM7.2 (from Quarx) on stable recovery and ICS to latest recovery. I use multiboot for this.
Everything worked good, but one of the newest version of ICS has newer kernel, so after I choose it phone just stucks at Moto logo...
So I have 2 questions:
1) Is it possible to get working new ICS on multiboot?
2) If no, how can I delete ICS from latest recovery and install there other firmware?
Thanks

Nope its not possible to have the newer versions including 111207 on multiboot!
to get rid of ICS in the latest boot you can just flash an other .zip over it, like miui or stuff...
hope it helped, greetz Esok
It is possible
Yes, it is possible. The only vital pre-requisite is to upgrade the main CM7 system to 2.3.4 kernel version.
But before, take care of:
1. The 2.3.4 kernel has some issue regarding camera, specially green lens (I think it doesn't work yet). Red lens work great, after a few work around with some overlay libs. (all this stuff very well described on CM7 thread).
2. Once you upgrade the kernel, you could install CM9 latest test builds.
pros:
- both systems running latest GB kernel (remember be sure to use 2.3.4)
- great to have CM7 and CM9.
cons:
- be sure to fix your camera in CM7. (of course, hope you have red lens )
- in my case: CM9 boot, but it doesn't detect the baseband (if I check "About phone" Baseband details show "Unknown"). WiFi work Ok.
I really appreciate any advice in this last comment.
Happy holidays
I've heard of this cyanogenmod device manager, but it's only available in the Nightly builds for now, and none of the official Nightly builds actually work unless you're a Froyo holdout...
What I'm asking is if anyone can either tell me which APK I need to extract from the Droid X CM Nightly ROM, or if they can detail some way to get this device manager on a Droid X without having to compile anything. Either, so long as it installs and runs correctly, would be a valid solution.
Thanks in advance.
Hey
Haven't had GPS working in my phone for a while now and currently running moihacks 7.2CM but problem has occurred in 4.x versions too. I remember playing around with the gps.u8800.so files from system/ folder when I flashed some ics or jb roms and not having it working even though before it did but I always put it on the unstable roms but now when I downgraded I thought it would start to work again but no. So if someone could upload their working gps.u8800pro.so from system/lib/hw and post it here I would be grateful
