App problem...

I have been having problems trying to use some of the built in google apps... sometimes when I try to open one it opens an entirely different app and the only way I know of to correct that is by rebooting.
Have any of you had this issue? Is it an android bug or a g2 bug? How have you been able to correct it?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Force close music player baked 1.3

Is anyone having this issue with the Baked Snack 1.3 rom? Any fixes for it?

It happened to me last night but I skipped to the next track and it stayed open.
I use MixZing. Most of the time there's no problem. However, with any of the launchers, there are a lot of Force Close incidences when the phone is in Landscape mode. I actually shut off auto-rotate because of this. It is worst with Launcher Pro. Is your phone in landscape mode when this happens?
No. its not a force close I dont think because there is no fc msg...but the app fails ever since I installed a new battery img to show the percent...plz help

i'm using player pro..no fc's here. don't use the stock music player but i'd recommend any of the ones listed in this thread.

Browser issues

Hi all,
I'm becoming extremely annoyed my browser. Can someone explain to me what the (cuss word) is going on here?
A) In the Liberated 2.1 ROM, I can only download a tenth of a file before it tells me the download is complete. Using other browsers does not correct this issue.
B) In the FroYo Sense ROM the browser crashes out altogether. Opera Mini is the only exception.
Can someone please fix my (more cuss words) phone?

try clearing browser data in settings>applications>manage applications?
I'll give that a try. If I don't respond, then it worked. Thanks!

BTW if you tried installing Flash 10.1 as outlined in various places on this and other forums, then crashing the browser all the time is probably to be expected.
I did not install Flash 10.1. This ROM should comes with HTC Flash Player, which is good enough for me.
The browser is working for me in Sense FroYo. I figure it must have just been the fact that I was using an outdated ROM. Also, I was trying to download from websites like RapidShare, which NEVER work for me.

Problem with stock web browser

The web browser keeps crashing, some times it will crash after a while of using the browser other times it will crash upon opening the web browser. So then I have to use the task manager to exit from it. It usually keeps crashing if I try and open the browser again, In the task manager it says (in red writing) the browser its using around 60% of the cpu? Anyone else having this issue? Btw I'm running the latest firmware KE7, don't remember it happening in the earlier firmwares.

Yep stock rom, its weird I just opened the browser to check how much of the cpu it uses just after the browser has been open and is still on the homepage (which I have set as google) and its was already displaying in red around 40%. how much cpu does your browser use after opening?

when the browser is working, 0%.
I'm interested in this though because I compile my own browser web core and so far I've been struggling to make it robust. similar symptoms, 46% CPU utilization when it crashes. I thought the problem was with my compilation setup, so I'm kinda happy to see it isn't entirely my faulty core and that it happens with the stock rom as well.
hope Samsung fixes this ! I have no idea why it happens but in my case it seemed it was a problem with the prelink and linker setup. never gave stock browser a fair chance to test it rigorously as I do with mine.

AOSP browser not responding error?

That browser is by far my favorite with it's speed and ability to use flash. But every time I use it it has this error at least once. Anybody else have this or know a way to stop it?
Try clearing the data of the browser and that should sort it out for you.
