Did not work out with manilla Meteo in home tab, after that cab today stop working, probably my mistake.
Very difficult to distinguish icons in start menu, really tiny.
Volume working ok. other apps working fine!
Regional settings working (LV).
The idea is very good. Big THNX for this ROM and Thank you for your hard work!

no, I do not have an opal, but a friend of mine who has it sometimes lends it to me, and I work on it. Manilla meteo works fine, but you must follow the instructions...

I have beeb waiting for a 6.5.X rom with Manila 2D for a very long long time.

Having the same old issue, my device hangs up with vol rockr. Tried HR but tht doesnt help.

Have you did a softreset after hardreset? sometimes It works....

I think this rom has a lot of problems, I'm working hard to solve these bugs...

Hi everybody,here is my first cook wm 6.5 rom for opal.I knew after joing opal that we opal users have not good bug free wm 6.5 rom....Here is my attempt to create almost bug less rom.I was cooking wm 6.5 rom for gene also....so from past experiences i present this rom as less as buggie.
INSTRUCTIONS
1) For those who have a problem in starting homesettings and internet sharing,I would advice to install Sdkcerts.cab in device memory attached below after flashing rom,when the sdkcerts.cab installation is complete please reboot your device immediately
2) If above trick not worked then Please hard reset your device one time after flashing the rom to have working home settings,internet sharing and other older bugs..
3) For sms not sending problem....
go to settings>system>advanced configuration>messaging>change the threaded messaging to disable.....now you can reply any sms by send button....and for new message type the mesge and then tap and hold below the message and choose send.......it works
If you don't like system status while tapping on upper right taskbar then do the following change in registry:
HK_L_M>software>Htc>EnlargeTitleBar>Enable ----change the dword value of Enable 1 to 0......
arkswitch task manager included that can be used by tapping on left upper task bar...
Install attached bticonnotifier.cab in your device to show taskbar bluetooth icon when bluetooth is on.you can download other task bar icons available in development and hacking forum to modify taskbar icons to new one style....

Tried to d/l thru IE&M.Firefox but when I extract the file it shows that it has a built-in trojan virus in "opalcustomruu.exe" file.
Sorry, I tried it 2 times.
Would appreciate if you could have it upload thru Megaupload/Rapidshare/Deposit files???????????????

just delete opalcustomruu.exe... the only important file is the RUU_signed.nbh... just copy it where your ROMUpdateUtility.exe is located.

But what I did was I disable my PC anti virus and have the file extracted as well as flashing. Everything works fine now.

When Bluetooth is turn on, Bluetooth icon is not shown in Taks bar
Seems that , the same old problem is still there. And its again based on luck sometimes work sometimes dont ouff, i have got many solutions for this problem but all have alternate problem like rom speed will increase, its response time etc but then bluetooth wont work......

He's talking about your instruction how to use, it's bit misleading for me as well nothing wrong with the lockscreen.
If you install only the Cloudy ActiveLS you can't boot anymore I ques and need to hardreset.
Maybe it's better to instruct:
first (always needed)
second (add extra on com 5)
I still need to flash but I'm glad Appelflap told, saves me a extra flash.

Not working on Miri v17.4 or Elegancia v9. Both cabs installed as instructed each time. Had to hard reset.

Lockscreen will only work with COM3(231xx). I tried with COM2(219xx) and doesn't work.
The issue are the missing icons: SMS/Missed Call/Mail. at bottom?
PIN input works, and RSSReader works.

No, no.... I had to hard reset my device also when I installed both cabs.
Clearly the ActiveLS.cab can cause some heavy problems on some roms ...
And please excuse my language in my earlier posts. I was really pissed of. I had a fully configured devices and then I had to reset it .... TWICE

Here's you my last rom, I hope you like it, this is the lightest rom than I'm able to do, it's basic and fast. It contains ezinput keyboard as in all my roms. almost all packages come from HTC mega and jade. unfortunately I can no longer pursue this project because my opal is dead, I thank you all for using my roms, I find it very satisfying.

hey there, i'm just wondering if you could get me the ezinput cab that you've used here? i was hoping to run it on my device..i used the stock cab from mega/jade (i'm forgot which one) and it froze my device

Yes those problems has been solved in this version. Now the phone doesnt hang and its working very well. Just wanted to know one thing that this is a windows 6.5 version but it contains dialer similar to that of 6.5.3 version.

I believe that the default dialer is the same for both wm6.5 and 6.5.3.....

your device freezes because you try to install an ezinput keyboard in a rom that have another ezinput inside... so if i create a cab with ezinput from mega you will find the same problem...

Hi, I've installed your latest ROM.. it looks like that battery management is a worse respect to RC ROMs.. is it possible? Have you set the same configuration or it is different?
Another question: why did you put on first post links to jvm-javafx and also to jvm6? What is the difference? Should I install both?
Anyway, thanks for the good-good work you've done, advise us when you'l buy your next phone.. we'll get the same!

umm..actually I'm using jagan's evolution ultimate β and he didn't include ezinput in there. i'm still having my doubts if i'm gonna try your 21697 build

in 21916 build the lock screen volume buttones are locked...
I've just flashed a Hong Kong 1.27.XXX Rom into yours
Everything works just fine!
AND IT IS INCREDIBLY FAST!
Just one thing, why does the camera's image looks so green?

Hey I've tried that 21697 build and I found these:
-volume buttons really work while locked, is there a fix for this?
-I installed M2D2 from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541750) and whenever I open a text message from the messaging tab, it opens the message in single message view instead of threaded view. How can I make it work to open on a threaded view?
-I can't see who's calling whenever I get a call, just the a white screen with gray box and a slider below

No, I created it for opal, It originally was for touch dual and I changed "touch dual" words in "opal"...
is there also a wp7 skin as last rom ???
and what version of manila is installed on this rom ???

No, in this rom there is a GTX skin with mega dialer and manila 2.0

"a , q" & "p , l" in keyboard are really difficult to touch
means for example when i want to type " qwerty" using my thumb it always miss typing "wwwwwerty" !
A,Q,P,L on the sides of keyboard do not respond correctly !!!

I think this is a touch screen problem... however you can set phone keyboard which has bigger buttons...
good to see a new rom once again! so any bugs found?
so there, I tried the stuff and I love it! though I was able to find to issue from 2 hrs of usage
1. I plugged the charger and the phone just froze. I performed I soft restart and I found out that my recent messages were lost. All the messages that I received before I soft reset were still there however (weird?)
2. When I scroll through the messages at messaging tab, it's kinda slow. I'm already overclocked at 276
downloading now... it has been a long time

I found a bug !!! you can read message only in manila tab , because when you go to messages - inbox there isn't any message
Nice Rom, havent finished testing yet but wanted to know, this ROM is not as light as the previous ones is it? cause my ROM on first install is contantly at 72% memory.after a while it goes down to abt 68%. am i missing something?

it's a very good rom. esp the wp7 themes. u must have worked hard. and about slowness: without running any applications i get 53-60 mb free (ie on startup). but it slowly goes down (as usual) and becomes clumsy in an hour or two. but i believe overclocking should solve this problem.
other wise it's beautiful.
i would like to ask you a favor: is the lockscreen theme available somewhere in a cab. i would love to have it when i try other roms also. (i just couldn't find after searching)

don't very i will make cab file of this lockscreen when i will download this rom after that i will making cab file so waitttt.....

some suggestion :
it would be nice to add some sync app, like syncro time and microsoft myphone
instead of multi language support , use right to left app (arabic and farsi)
