Whoever customised it should have written a readme. Where did you get it? If I don't know the files they've given you I cannot tell you where they need to go.

here u go but there is no guide i think
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803242

Search for hastarin 8.4. It includes the patch you are looking for.

tried with the readme in hastarin r8.4 and i get stuck at htc logo and nothing happens??

You have to tell us more about your spec. What radio, rom and so on.

i think i know what the problem is my bulid has rmnet as data and i think hastarin 8.4 does not suport rmnet my rom stock 1.66 wwe radio 2.12 hd2one cm6 bulid

[Q] HTC HD2 Jumping to Kernel & init panel issues

Dear All,
i face the following issues.
1) if i use froyo stone clean build (Release date: 07.AUG.2010 GMT)
after i following all the instructions, i hang on the line "jumping to kernel"
>> a search on the forum, ask me to change ram addresses and cmd="ips****", but it doesnt help.
2) if i use the latest Parad0XUA_Experimental, it hangs on "init panel" then the screen fades to black.
I would be glad if someone could help me on this
Thank you
whizz
Sorry i cant help, but i have the exact same jumping to kernal problem and thats with any version of android ive tried. Ive got a box full of HD2's and no version of android will work on any of them. Do you need custom ROMS to run them?
Really hope someone can answer this, we cant be the only people to have this issue.
You certainly need to change the Radio to a .50, and it would appear that a custom ROM helps too.

Thanks man! Installed HSPL3 and a different radio. Got it to boot now!

I have tried all radio version (2.08 ~ 2.12) none of them work for all fullram version ...
Changing the ROM did it for me. I was using a .51 ROM...replaced it with 2.15.50 ROM..Now, its fine and I must say Darkstone ROM is quite stable and performance is good too..I am using it on a 2GB card..( my 8GB went bad..Waiting for a replacement.. ) and it still gives me amazing speed.
I have resolved the problem using only the latest version of official rom by HTC without HSPL or anything else

[Audio issue] audio playing a little bit FASTER than normal!!

You need to update to Dutty's new ROM, I also had the problem with this ROM and however it was fixed in v4
im using the stock tmobile. and when i use android ive had this same problem i even reformatted my sdcard and put music on it then still having the same problem on any android rom i try. when i go into windows the music sounds fine. any clues should i put a custom windows rom instead of just leaving it stock? i have the same radio he has so maybe its the radio version any one got any idea?
i will try to update rom to V5 SOON thx Jack

problem with new kernal

i face problem with the new kernal if i replace the zimage it boot if i use the new kernal it never boot i tried with darkstone desire hd and i tried with mattc evo build and ur build it does not boot with the hastarin kernal but i replace the regular evo zimage it works can u please suggest me i use 2.12 version radio and miris rom
First of all it is kernel, and second you can ask it in the topic where you did the kernel from,no offense, just a tip
I think I can help
Well one of your problems could be In darkstones android folder it is just called "Image" not "Zimage" if you just threw the image one in there it will not find it. other than that I am not sure if I completely understand your question. you jump from zimage to kernel to much I cant keep up.

[Q] How to fix poor (unusual) performance in a port ?

Hi,
Im porting a MIUI FRG83 rom to HD2.
I followed those steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8867035&postcount=546
I used files from HD2froyov3 and hastarin r8.
Its working but I have performance issue: in home/menu it stutters a bit when scrolling. So I downloaded fps2d, and saw the poor performance: avg fps: 10.
I tried with another miui build for hd2, made with the same miui base and kernel, and there is no stutter and with fps2d the avg fps is ~50.
(also tried logcat on the build saw no error)
I wonder if anyone can help me figure out what is making the performance being poor ?
I would really appreciate any help, thanks a lot.

Hi,
Im trying to update a Miui from a version < 2.2.1 to 2.2.1.
Th build is based on Miui for nexus one, I got the zip to update to 2.2.1 FRG83 but I dont know how to upgrade the version.
I tried to copy all files over but it replaces miui with stock froyo (and its slow).
Im porting this to HD2, so im wondering how to update an sdcard build for HD2.
If anyone can help ? thx.

You cannot update one build, MIUI, by copying over another set of files and expect it to work ... Its not how its done ... If MIUI do not use 2.2.1 as a base then you are stuck with whatever they provide.
thx for the answer.
I edited the subject for a new problem. Thx to anyone who help.

that walkthru seems to be what you need, but the rom is a Clockwork Recovery Mod rom that is flashed from the sd card, so you need to flash the CWM after the MGLDR, but before the rom, you also need to find out what rom partition you need for the CWM, sense roms usually use around 400mb, so look in the sticky roll up thread where you found the walkthru and you will see the Clockwork Mod thread, and you'll have to ask in the rom thread what partition you need.
how to get the latest and best sense version of android working on it?
- Seems difficult. At first, you have to know how to make a ROM
How do I know what Radio Version I have?
- In the setting meu, you will find out the radio versio.
Look, you don't have to know how to make a rom, you're not reading what I'm telling you, if you want a rom with the latest sense, find one that you can flash that has it already cooked in it, like the incredible s/vivo port. Just find any sense rom that you like and learn how to flash it, you don't even know how to flash and you're getting concern with rom making! There's a bunch of roms with sense on them but only a few with the sense 2.1, is not like they can just throw it in a rom and that's it, they have to work out the bugs and make it compatible with our hd2.

You can reboot your phone and there are three lines of numbers in the first boot at the bottom of the screen that will look like this example: R.2.08.50.15, or this if an old Europe hd2, R.2.07.51.xx, the radio has to be a 50 on the 3rd section of numbers if US, if US hd2 you cannot flash a 51 radio or YOU WILL BRICK IT, TOTALLY BREAK YOUR PHONE!!!!! you need radio 2.15.50.14 for best performance in android, US or EU.
You can also go into your settings in windows mobile and check your software info and it should give you the rom and radio number.
