Iheartradio and roms

I listen to rovers morning glory on iheart and can't live without it. I have tried every rom in these threads almost. If I use stock sprint rom it runs decent. If I use cm6 or any of the sense roms it isn't even usable. However with aosopmod v.08 it runs perfectly everytime. All the roms have been tested with the kernel they hace stock as well as bfs kernels. The aosopv.08 is the only one that connects properly. So my question is, what's the deal lol. What would cause theseconnection issues. Especially in cm6
I love cm6 especially the new builds. But cannot use them due to this. Any advice.

I also have noticed that Iheartradio is more hit or miss after ROMs. I usually restart Iheart then it seems to work better. I am running EXTBLUE Oct12 and love it.

CM6 on my Hero has Iheartradio running smoothly every day. Don't know why yours doesn't. Check you have newest radio?

Ya I have the newest radio. What is wierd is the 99 nightly cm6 didn't work as far as the iheartradio. But the cm6 103 works great. Same as the aosop rom. Not sure exactly what is causing this but I am happy for now lol.

Internet Bouncing In & Out :(

I have noticed my internet keeps shutting down and not working until I change settings or reset to default... its p1ssing me off... I know its not my sim card... this never happened to me before... it just starting in october.... I'm using froyo sense with vbn rom..2.14.50... someone please help... network also shuts down on different builds... phone calls and texts work its just internet

I also noticed that sometimes the internet works but my signal bars are gone and it just shows (H....) or (3G....)

You are probably using a PPP build, try using one which has RMNET. (I believe Hyperdroid is RMNET, but it's not Sense).

I see... is there any sense builds that are not PPP?

I'm not a fan of Sense so I'm not really sure. Maybe HyperdroidSense is, but it's not the most actively maintained build. Just check through all the build threads, it should be mentioned (though some don't..).

Can't download apps

My friend is using the Desire HD but can't install any apps says unable to install please try later so try late still not working any idea? As far as I can see there is nothing wrong won't work with 3g or WiFi. Any suggestions would be great.

New GTalk

Gtalk with Voice calling and Video chat is out for Nexus S....Any chance of seeing it on Desire??

It's part of a new build of gingerbread and it's already been released for AOSP. Dev's are probably working on it now. Oxygen's dev, AdamG says to expect his updated ROM soon...though I don't know how to video chatting would work without a front-facing camera.

Video chat is trouble some. I've tried it via fringe. It uses the back camera hence u need to stand in front of mirror lolzz. Trust me that's wat I did.

InsertCoin v15 have the new GTalk. I find a problem - other people can't call me, only I can. I think this is because Android version is 2.3.3 and probably there are some changes in Android 2.3.4 to integrate voice and video chat.

Was having a play around with it last night and it works really well. Even better it works over mobile networks as well.

Desire HD camera not working

Hi everyone I need help, I am not a noon to flashing etc. However my camera and camcorder have suddenly stopped working, everytime I open either one it just freezes at a backscreen. I thought it would be a bug in a Rom so I switched but It's not working. Tried everything ...if anyone can help it would be appreciated

If you tried another rom with full wipe and the issue is occurring the next think to do is to flash an ruu file.

Fixed...for now...I switched to stock sense and it wasn't working, I turned my phone off for the night and when I woke up in the morning it was working. Will have to see if its working on other roms, thanx for the tips though

Have you concluded that the fix was leaving your phone off over night? I have the same issue and have tried a few different rom's none of which have fixed it. I was at the point of returning the phone to be repaired.
I guess I'm really asking, did you do anything else? Remove some software, try a specific rom?

It happened to my camera...but that might be due to the fact that the plastic cover in front of the lens has broken orf and the actual camera unit has taken quite a beating! Works now, I went for a run and when I came back it was perfect
Maybe the running jolted it back into position? Try the same thing xD
Could be that you need to go back to stock and make it like it came from the factory. I wonder if overclocking can damage the camera unit?

I just full wiped and went back on the stock rom, turned my phone off and woke up in the morning and the camera was working switched back to other roms and it was working on all of them.. Hopefullly this will work

if you have changed rom and the problem persists chances are it's hardware related. I have seen a dhd with similar problems, aswell as wifi problems and it was due to overheating. If you took out the battery it would work for a few hours but then it would do the same

Anyone still having any camera problems??

Im having this problem as well. Exactly like the OP. Not too keen on flashing back to stock rom however.
I did see someone mentioning problems with wifi in conjunction with the camera problem. I have this as well.
Anyone with a fix would be greatly appreciated

Been using the HD android revolution Rom for awhile now. Currently on 6.1.3 which includes pershoots kernel.
