Hi Folks,
Yes, I already tried search. Here and Google and I did it for times and didnt find help. Thats reason for question:
I have an MS Exchange server and Gmail Account where I want the following Sync Setup.
MS Exchange over OTA: Emails, Contacts, Calendar
Gmail over OTA: Emails, Contacts
Could anyone provide help to me? The well known Registry Hack with "EnableNonLocalCrossPollination" does not work because its designed for mutliple Sync via USB and not OTA. In short words: I have to activate two Exchange accounts on my mobile for Sync via UMTS.
Use WinMo outlook account for sync with Exchange
Set up GMail account for mail only
Use 3rd party sync tool, like this one

to sync calendar and contacts with Google

Hi guys
I'm wondering whether it is somehow possible to override the limitation of Activesync in WM and sync mails with more than 1 server?
I use mail-push for corporate mails, but would like of course to sync also my private mail2web - account.
what's the latest on this? sorry to revive such an old topic.
As far as I know, you'd have to use an alternative client to sync with multiple servers/
What if I want my handheld to sync to one exchange server just for email and another for contacts, calendar, and tasks?
At this time ActiveSync only supports 1 server.
mail from one exchange server, calendar/contacts from another...

Thought I would share it as i've been trying to figure out how sync my corporate email & calendar via one activesync server (company) and google contacts via another (the google server). So now I have both personal email (gmail IMAP) and work email (Exchange) and my personal contacts imported into the native contacts list.
Hope someone else finds this useful.
BTW, I also set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\EnableNonLocalCrossPollination to "1" instead of "0".
And now???
No news about multiple accounts setup?
As gmail is now provideing push access this becomes more than frustrating to be limited to one push server!!!!!!
You're too lazy MS!
Activesync does support multiple servers if you are not syncing the same items with both.
For example:
I sync my calendar and contacts with google sync and sync just my email with the company I work for.
You just have to go into the pocket outlook and create a new account as if you were creating a pop3 or imap account and then select Exchange Server. You however can NOT sync contacts or email or anything with both.

Thx for your answer. That's what I am using.
Bu I want to use the push mode fo both accounts and Activesync does nto support it... Which is a pity!
I spent way too much time trying to get this working last night, so I'm here to ask if anyone knows how I can get my gmail account setup through ActiveSync, rather than the normal gmail app.
My reasoning for this is because I want to have my mail viewable through the Mail widget - but it will only let me choose an ActiveSync account
To setup the ActiveSync account on my HTC Touch Pro I just followed Google's guide here: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=138636&topic=14299
I used the same details to setup an ActiveSync account on my Hero, and it seems to successfully connect and tell me it's synced - but none of my emails are appearing?
Any ideas anyone? Or is there perhaps a way to select my gmail account in the HTC Mail widget?
You won't get email through ActiveSync with gmail - it's for Contacts and Calendar only.
You could use IMAP or POP3 access to your gmail account, via the HTC mail app...
First, make sure you have IMAP access enabled to your gmail account: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=77695
Then, make sure you use the "manual setup" option in the HTC Mail app, and use the info provided on this page to proceed: https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=114408
Hello all. I have my phone connected to gmail through activesync. I also want to have email access to my work's exchange server. I have not found an easy way to get email from both accounts but only sync contacts from google. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank You. )
Hello again. Does anyone have any information on the question I asked yesterday? Thank You )

You cannot connect 2 Exchange (Gmail also acting as Exchanger Server) server from Windows Mobile via Activesync, but you can setup Gmail as IMAP then you can connect to your Work Exchange Server. But Contact & Calendar information only sync with your Work Exchange.
I disagree, you can have 2 exchange servers with a registry tweak. However as specified above you cannot sync two email accounts, but you can sync contacts, calendars and tasks.
If i am honest its not an idea solution, but it does work. It sounds like the solution above works the same but has the benefit of better sense integration. At the moment i have my work exchange server linked in sense and active sync for contacts, calendar and email. My gmail is linked in two places, the first one activesync which covers the calendar and contacts, but i also link the email via imap via sense. This works well too but its a little awkward trying to edit email settings.

Created a corporate exchange account to sync with my work account. While the contacts and email sync over successfully, no calendar entries were synced over. Anyone knows why?
hmm... intersting, i've yet to try to sync it to an Exchange server.
but my stuff on Google Calendar syncs perfectly fine.
because Gmails server = my Exchange server
too lazy to install MS Exchange just to test this out.
but as far as i recall... Exchange doesn't really have a calendar service, the calendar invites and alerts are from Outlook
if you use Exhange without Outlook, it's just a plain mail server, no calendar no memopad
But that works on my wife's iphone 3gs. Her phone is able to sync the calendar entries directly from exchange
have you tried the TouchDown App?
that should do the trick
supposedly Froyo will come with better Exhange support out of the box
Hi Just got my first tablet. Can anybody tell me if you can synch my outlook calender with my nexus 7 calender, don't want to synch it via google calender, wondered if it can be done with out synching to google first or if there is an app i can use. thanks
There are add-on for Chrome to google sync for your computer browser. I know Chrome has them for sure...
You can go to the email app and log in with your email account you use with outlook.
Then android should sync your account as a outlook account and also your calendar schould be synced
I have set up nexus 7's email app to synch with my outlook email, but no where in email settings on nexus does it elude to synching calendar, anybody help. Thanks
This is how we do it on the phone. I just got my N7 yesterday and while contacts and e-mail have synced fine using this method, my calendar has not yet synced.

Is this a local calendar? Like you just use Outlook as a POP client, or do you log into an Exchange server. If Exchange, the default mail app on the N7 supports Activesync and you can set it up for your mail server.
If it's just a local account then you would probably need to sync it through Gmail or find an app for the tablet and a program for the computer that allows you to sync when. You plug it in or provide an OTA sync when your PC is on. This might work for you.

OK, I got my Outlook calendar syncing now. For some reason I had to create a the Exchange account from within the calendar app on the N7 for it to work. Same account as I already created in Settings. Thankfully, it doesn't show as 2 separate accounts. If you setup your Outlook to sync as in the thread I posted earlier it will work fine. You don't need to have a Hotmail account, either.
Have managed to synch my outlook emails, but only the inbox, won't snych sub folders in outlook inbox.
Looks like i will have to find a program and app, as its a local account i want to synch, don't want to bother with exchange server
Have also tried to import my contacts from outlook to the stock nexus 7 people app, but outlook will only export as a .csv file and nexus people will only import as a vcard file, any ideas.
Try my phone explorer from the Google play store and install the pc version on your pc. Syncs contacts, calendar & tasks using USB, WiFi or Bluetooth directly with the Outlook data on your pc. Check the installation screenshot for details:

Thanks will have a look at it. Do you know if it synchs with the stock nexus 7 calendar or does it add its own calendar to tablet and synch that with outlook.
