If I want to show the “Recent Apps” in your notification bar,how can I do?
I'm not sure if this is any use to you, but if you press and hold the Home Button, recent apps are shown

This is a feature of the newer Desire HD roms only, as it's part of the new sense.

Do you realise that this is an Android forum, and not WinMo?
I humbly apologize
I did not realize that.
I have searched within the HD2 but I have not verified that the result was in Android.
Sorry

Really?
What do you think? Just wondering.....
Yes, that's also my demand. The HTC Home makes me quickly access to my applications and it does not require more memory than the Manila2D. Besides, it is good to have both installed , but enable one at a moment then change it when needed.
Anybody has an idea?

Did you read my reply? I bet NOT.
afaik, you can keep both of them and switch to one another from time to time. but you cannot keep it both active at the same time. another thing is it will consume too much memory, storage ang program. i haven't tested it though regarding speed, but the first time i try to install m2d, i have htc home on my device and both are working.
Dear HTC LEO, welcome in my life.
But why is there no way to activate the quick menu?(on the upper right corner?)
And how about the lock screen? every time the device wakes up it locks.
how do i disable and enable these things?

I'm wondering the exact same thing myself mate.
Can no-one help?
Another here who misses the 'Quick Menu'.
There's a lot of talk on not being able to shut down programs that are loaded into memory without now having to launch the Task Manager first, but this was all part of the same HTC Task Manager.... you either closed it or brought it to the front.

several threads going on this. HTC task manager cab can be found in the threads "hints and tips". The cab has been provided by Dutty Throy. I have read that some users need to disable htc sence before installing.

Thanks for that, but that doesn't work for me. Strange, since other HD2 users are okay with that cab.

Yes, I'm well aware of those topics. I've contributed to some myself.
What I am saying though is although there is a lot of talk on this no one seems to mention the Quick Menu's acxess list.
Everone talks of being able to access the closed 'X'.

I agree. If the memory management is so super-duper that it can leave programs open and not have a detrimental effect then that doesn't help me switch between them on my MULTI-TASKING smart phone now does it!
I just want the quick menu back. I hate the idea of having to flash a ROM onto a phone that I've had for less than a day, just to get some of the functionality that I expected to be standard.
You can switch to running application by running it again.

I've been using a very similar OS for over a year now, and have always been able to just click the down arrow in the top right of my home screen for a list of running apps. This is what people are asking for, not work-rounds.
Besides, if the app in question is in a sub-menu of a sub-menu of the start menu, then it becomes a real pain to run it again. It's quicker to stick the task manager on your quick links on the home page and use that (despite the fact that that is ANOTHER app running, and we don't have access to exclusions any more either).

Yes but this is exactly why there is an issue in not having a 'Quick Menu'.
Running them again you have to open Start then find the program (of which if you have many, many programs/games can take quite a bit of effort).
Much simpler to just open the 'Quick Menu' and click on the already opened program.....
Edited:
johncmolyneux apologies, you answered the same question just as I was posting my reply.

I have just downloaded this, but there is nothing that allows you to enter in your account information. If you click on the browse or the search icons, it takes you to the site, not within the app itself.
Its working great on my Imagio so far. I need to wait until I am near a wifi to download a movie, but for now everything seems to work.
hmm. I got to the 'update version' button. When I hit that, it took me to a page that said something about them working on an updated version. And there wasn't a further option. Now, when I press the icon, it doesn't open the app.
BlockBuster.cab
I Click on it it opens then when u click settings u have to enter ur info or register TilT2 "Touch Pro 2" then it coms to a screen for "Credit card" info hmmmm.......but it says when u register u get an ativate code that gives u 2 free movies...other than hat if u regularly click movies or search i'll say "ur not by a wifi" or sumptyn of the sort..... Keep working at it though u'll get it.
I had good sucsess loading and using the app on an HTC HD2 T9193 on AT&T running Artemis 10 ROM.
Please note: I did not need to load NETCFv35[1].Messages.EN.wm

Try the attached cab... perhaps the latest version will give you better results? Works great on my TP2!
And this onee allows you to download the movies onto your TP2?
Does this download or STREAM movies?
yeah, this new one works. But you are paying 17.99+ to download a new release movie.
It worked on my hd2 with the new version. Must install both file though. OH BY THE WAY YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY 3.99 TO WATCH IS THAT HOW YOU SAYS OR IS THERE ANY UNLOCK CODE TO BE FREE?
I need a big help please. I just mod cyanogen7. I realize that when I press dialpad to call someone, it will not automatically search in Phonebook contact. It will not show any contact person.
For example, when I want to call Steven I just press 7 and 8, and his name should show up. But now nothing was search after the mod.
Thanks

I discovered this as well, and since I want to stick with the stock dialer because it runs fine I found another way. I'm just using the search button to search in my contact book, which is quite simple as well.

More details please. What's problem with touch responsivity? May be it is time to HR?
If you have installed the Touch Tools app I have mentioned to you before. Then just use itcto set your touch sesativity higher or lower, justcpokecaround some with the app you will see it is well worth installing. It gives you so much control over your HD2 using Windows Mobile.

Unless the app developer has add another feature or something seems I last used it. I only had to download and installcthe app. The part I am talking about is in the Touch Tools part of te app. I will be sighting this from memory here so it may not be 100% corect. Go to Start>TouchTools> Touch Tools>Menu>User interface I think. You should be able to find it then.

hi, t-mac. i went into the settings of touch tools 2.0. but i dont see any features that provide touch sensitivity. i did see, 'start menu icons per row', 'menu bar font size,' 'minimum tap time,' etc. but, i dont see any specific feature for touch screen.
also, i installed, 'co0kie's home tab' that installs 4 icon quick links instead of 3 in the home screen. i dont like it. i want the original 3 quick links back. but theres no way to get that back. the 'edit lock screen layout' feature is greyed out. i like the program's feature that lets you scroll across to give you more quick links, though. is there a way to keep this feature while getting the 3 quick links back? and how do i ungrey the 'edit lock screen layout' feature?
if you can help me with these 2 issues, i'd be indebted to you. thanks man.

Just a friendly suggestion, if you see app mentioned in a thread in the forums and you want to check it out. Do a search for it in "themes and apps forum for the device, and in the case of the HD2 the OS too lol. Also check okcthe link in my sig about getting more familiar with XDA
