Alright, so I can't send or receive any SMS, but phone calls and data are OK.
The base rom is ATT's latest.
I used connection setup 3.1.2016 to setup the ATT connection, but SMS are no go!
Any ideas?
Regards
Smith
SOLVED: The SMS_Providers package wasn't showing up in the OEM section of OS Kitchen. Once I refreshed the package list and selected SMS Providers, it worked fine.
you have to check 2-waysms.com/?page=sms_receiving

I made the back of my all database incl. SMS and email accounts, with the program Pocket Backup Plus.
Then I updated the system to the 4.00.11 (also testes 4.0016) from 4.00.05.
After that I restored SMS database (the porccess was made without errors or any special message, everything seems ok) but:
I can send the SMS but I cannot receive the SMS any more!!!!!
No way.
After the hard-reset (fresh 4.00.16 ROM) all started to work OK. I can send and I see received SMS sound alerts. Of course in this version of ROM the device is not wakeing-up if SMS received, only sound alert is.
I can verify that the above info is true.
Ever since I've upgraded my T-Mo xda to WM2003, the restored SMS database affect the receipt of new SMS.
I have flashed my ROM more than 16 times with all released and many cooked variants of the WM2003, from the original Ozone beta to the latest T-Mo .16 version. In all cases, if you use Pocket Backup Plus to restore, make sure to UNCHECK the restore of the email databases, if you still want to receive SMS's.
Apparently something that the Sprite Backup restores, screws up the SMS database and all new SMS get lost or stuck somewhere in your phone, although the network operator thinks that the message is sent to your phone sucessfully.
Yes my friends, i've mentioned this in a previous post. It doesnt matter which ROM versions you change to any backup useing Pocket Backup will corrupt the XDAs mail databases. $hit happens!!
On the other hand does anybody know of backup software which will backup SMS and mail databases?

I'm having problems with MMS Messages on WM2003SE on my XDAII
I've configured the GPRS Settings and MMS server settings as described in the attached text file but I still cant send MMS Messages although I can recieve them I don't know why.
Im using ROM Version 2.06.00WWE
Radio version 1.18
ArcSoft MMS Composer version 2.0.0.13
Did you get this working
I've got exactly the same problem but on Orange. I followed the Orange instructions and double checked but to no avail. Did you manage to get this working,
Thanks,
Simon
RE
The latest version of MMS (as posted) with WM2003se indeed do have some compatibility issue with some Telcos.
In my case the latest version does not work either.
Although I do not have an integrated MMS but I'm able to send/receive MMS using my earlier version (v1.6.0.8) of MMS which comes with WM2003.
Here:-
Fixed
Hi,
Thanks for the response. I managed to get it fixed in the meantime, send/receive MMS, internet via GPRS, etc. The Orange settings guide on one of the other threads didn't work fully however someone had upload a cab file containing the Orange settings in another, which set them up in a different way (as recommended for M2000 by Orange - I use a Qtek 2020i). I've attached it again for others however I'm afraid it won't help on 02.
Thanks,
Simon
i tried manually installing the Arcsoft MMS client from extended rom.
i do have mms options (to define servers) but i don't have MMS in accounts - only POP and text.
Help? :/
To test firstly: what happens if you try to send an MMS message to yourself?
I Can't.. i don't have any mms box
i tried right clicking a picture and "send via mms" to myself..
i got an empty SMS... :/
Help
In accounts I also doesn't have mms accounts, but I got MMS folders. I tried to send mms to my friend, she can receive it and vice versa.
Btw, have u install your operator settings from your old ext rom ?
My old rom is an O2, then I upgrade to 1.13 t-mobile +big storage, and then I execute 2 files from my old extended rom, which is
CAB-Customization-Magician-O2Asia[youroperatorname]MMS*.cab
and
[youroperatorname]_ALL*.cab
After that, my GPRS + MMS settings automatically set.

i had same problem i used mms from 1.12 and it worked like a charm
Sorry i didn't update.
i did too use an older version of the Arcsoft MMS and it worked.
i found a post saying that the new version 2.5X (?) needs the inteli dailer and some other thing.. :/
anyways, i used version 2.0X and it worked.
After upgrading from a 2007 version of CRC's ROM I am still unable to send MMS. I recently switched my plan to allow MMS but they dont work. I searched high and low and click on several links on here that went step by step on how to change the setting but still I dont have the option to send MMS. When I go to Start - Messaging...all I have is Text and setup email. If I do new MMS from the INBOX window and create one it fails to send and gives me a GPSR error.
here is what I am running.
CRCs r13.3
radio 1.54.07.00
is it a radio problem?
Any advice would be appreciated?
I have a automated SMS which has text as below from "System Notifications":
"Your device settings were changed successfully".
Not sure what and from where it comes?
I have TD2 Tools installed on my WM 6.5 Stock Rom.
Please advice.
Thanks.
I use a .cpf file to automatically import mail account settings when I reflash...it generates an SMS with that text.
I am not 100% sure.... but it was due to TD2 Tools .
Because I had disabled all Data packages using TD2 tools and using WiFi all time. But after that message I can see the Data plan was activated and I was using EDGE , which was automatically changed without my notice ...
Thanks.
