Can recieve but not send MMS on WM2003SE - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 General

I'm having problems with MMS Messages on WM2003SE on my XDAII
I've configured the GPRS Settings and MMS server settings as described in the attached text file but I still cant send MMS Messages although I can recieve them I don't know why.
Im using ROM Version 2.06.00WWE
Radio version 1.18
ArcSoft MMS Composer version 2.0.0.13

Did you get this working
I've got exactly the same problem but on Orange. I followed the Orange instructions and double checked but to no avail. Did you manage to get this working,
Thanks,
Simon

RE
The latest version of MMS (as posted) with WM2003se indeed do have some compatibility issue with some Telcos.
In my case the latest version does not work either.
Although I do not have an integrated MMS but I'm able to send/receive MMS using my earlier version (v1.6.0.8) of MMS which comes with WM2003.
Here:-

Fixed
Hi,
Thanks for the response. I managed to get it fixed in the meantime, send/receive MMS, internet via GPRS, etc. The Orange settings guide on one of the other threads didn't work fully however someone had upload a cab file containing the Orange settings in another, which set them up in a different way (as recommended for M2000 by Orange - I use a Qtek 2020i). I've attached it again for others however I'm afraid it won't help on 02.
Thanks,
Simon

No MMS folders (or settings) in JAM Messaging App

I recently upgraded to the latest ROM and installed the Vodafone UK settings CAB file, but now I have no MMS Setting option in Messaging Tools, and no MMS folders. Needless to say, I can't send or receive MMS! All Vodafone Internet and Vodafone WAP settings are present and correct.
Am I missing something obvious here?
HELP!!! (would be much appreciated!)
Alan
T-Mobile has got a seperate cab for the MMS stuff, so you may have missed it. Open your settings cab with winzip or wince cabmanager to check wether mms is in there or ...... not. Didn't check the ftp for you, but your solution can be there.
Regards, M
it should be on your ER!
look for it . easy to find.
Thanks!
Thanks guys - sorted!
racarter - i've got the same problem - how did u resolve it?
cheers.

Found and ran the MMS app in extended ROM. (If you can't find the extended ROM in File Explorer you may have to unhide it I think...)

No MMS folder

Hi folks,
I have recently removed all the o2 rubbish by doing a hard reset and then resetting before the rubbish is installed. I have sorted my GPS and MMS settings but I think the problem is that I do not have an MMS folder...
EG - if I go to an image and ask it to be sent by MMS then nothing happens - I am told I should have a similar setup to SMS - ie Inbox, Outbox, Sent etc - but these do not appear... Also, I have been sent vations MMS messages and they have never arrived.
Can anyone assist or do I really have to load the o2 crap?
Here you go: copy this to your My Documents folder on your Wizard, then tap it to install the fix. Worked perfectly for me.
Thanks
Worked wonders - cheers for that mate!
didnt work for me
suggestion
Use a registry editor (I like RegEditCE) to change the following keys:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Svc/MMS/UserCannotCreate = 0
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Svc/MMS/UserCanCreate = 1
After this you should be able to go into Outlook and add an MMS account like any other email account. You will need to know the proper settings, though.
Worked for me.
I have the exact same problem as the original user. I am using the latest Qtek 9100 rom.
CAB doesn't work.
I tried the registry change you mentioned but it only allows me to add email addresses and not MMS folder.

Check it out and let me know how you all get on:

Hi all,
I believe that the issue was something to do with either Sprite Backup (restore across ROM upgrade) or not allowing the extended ROM to fully install when I upgraded ROMS.
Anyways, I just did a hard reset, allowed the device to complete everything on its own and the MMS folder appeared and worked.
Thanks for all the help.
same here. i had to hard reset after a back operation just ***** my mda.
don't know why or how...it just did.

No MMS in Messaging

i tried manually installing the Arcsoft MMS client from extended rom.
i do have mms options (to define servers) but i don't have MMS in accounts - only POP and text.
Help? :/
To test firstly: what happens if you try to send an MMS message to yourself?
I Can't.. i don't have any mms box
i tried right clicking a picture and "send via mms" to myself..
i got an empty SMS... :/
Help
In accounts I also doesn't have mms accounts, but I got MMS folders. I tried to send mms to my friend, she can receive it and vice versa.
Btw, have u install your operator settings from your old ext rom ?
My old rom is an O2, then I upgrade to 1.13 t-mobile +big storage, and then I execute 2 files from my old extended rom, which is
CAB-Customization-Magician-O2Asia[youroperatorname]MMS*.cab
and
[youroperatorname]_ALL*.cab
After that, my GPRS + MMS settings automatically set.

TMobile MMS Sending problem on 8525

I have an 8525 unlocked and can't seem to get the MMS to send in the new TNT 6.1 19199 Professional Release. It worked on the previous TNT release but now it just hangs around in the outbox and doesnt do anything. Iv'e tried using "MMS auto config t-mobile.cab" iv'e tried using the network configuration built in to tnts rom and ive even tried installing Arcsoft_MMS_4281 even though I had the newer version that came with tnts rom installed. And ive triple checked my settings and they are correct. This is my device info, hope someone knows the answer to my problem.
I have TMobile USA service
Unlocked 8525 running TNT.19199_Professional_Hermes
ROM Version TNT.19199
ROM Date 03/14/08
Radio Version 1.54.07.00
let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks
OK now I installed a different dl of arcsoft mms4281, and what it did is added 2 mms folders to my messaging section. So now when I press messages it says
Select an Account
SMS\MMS
myemail1
myemail2
MMS
MMS1
Setup Email Address.
Now the 2 new MMS's work like the old tnt rom but it looks dumb with 2 and the one integrated in SMS\MMS still does not work. And I prefer the upgraded MMS Composer because it enters a contact when you start typing a name into the send to field when 4281 does not.

MMS fails to send, GPRS problem

After upgrading from a 2007 version of CRC's ROM I am still unable to send MMS. I recently switched my plan to allow MMS but they dont work. I searched high and low and click on several links on here that went step by step on how to change the setting but still I dont have the option to send MMS. When I go to Start - Messaging...all I have is Text and setup email. If I do new MMS from the INBOX window and create one it fails to send and gives me a GPSR error.
here is what I am running.
CRCs r13.3
radio 1.54.07.00
is it a radio problem?
Any advice would be appreciated?
