I wanted to ask whether one can help me how can I install on this mobile WM 6.5? how I can flash it or hard ....
according to the instructions I've found here is not .. it will screen stekcen tricolor (on my Destop) is angeziegt error .. it would have no connection and so on.
Pc is with wind. 7

I bought a used XDA II from someone on Ebay and for the life of my I can't find out what version of Windows it's using. I figured it would tell you in Device Information but it doesn't. Do I need to look on/in the box?

the only official windows version out for xda2's are 2003
On
Device Information (Version Tab ) , the first line is : ROM Version : x.xx.xx
write the number you've read and i (or other) will tell you what version of Windows Mobile it is ....

I HAVE to update to WM 5.0, I have to run some software that only runs on Windows Mobile 5.0.
I've been able to re-format to 31.01 MB memory. :!:
I have:
5.22 bootloader
4.20.0 (Build 13349) OS
ROM A.30.09 date: 01/01/04
Radio A.20.10
Protocol 324e4
Model PW10B1
WM 5.0 does not, and never ever ever ever ever will exist for the Wallaby. :wink:

There is just one solution for this:
Take a big hammer, smash it hard on your device. After all is defect, buy a new device (new model) with WM 5.0 on it....

My wallaby GSM error, so..i try to upgrade via SD., but not success.
Because my bootloader V.5.15, so...im to trying upgrade bootloader to Versi 6.xx
Anyone Please share tutorial upgrade bootloader and file Bootloader 6.xx

Im Using SD Ardata 1GB and MMC Nokia 64MB.
I think the bootloader 5.17 not support this tools (But Im Not sure)
Maybe first time i need upgrade bootloader to V.6.xx
But i dont know how to Upgrade Bootloader and where i can download file Bootloader v6.xx

Cannot Downgrade Spv M2000
I have an SPV M2000 originally running on Windows Mobile 2003. Somehow I managed to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 6 Professional (Build 18125.0.4.2), but I am loosing Radio after some minutes and also Wifi. I reset the device and Sometimes It works other times Radio doesnt work at all. In Device Information I get Rom Version: 5.60.00 WWE, ROM Date: 03/02/05, RADIO version: NONE, PROTOCOL Version: NONE. ExtROM Version: (nothing written here). I can reset the device but it always give "communication error" when trying to downgrade etc. I'm really Desperate!!

I am having trying to sync my phone with Windows XP. However the computer doesn't recognise the phone at all.
I am running Active Sync 4.5 on the desktop. Tried with 4.1, still no success.
I have also tried solution in numerous threads in this forum, still no success.
Also pls. help me in upgrading the ROM & OS on my phone and if possible links to download the ROM and O/S files for the upgrade.

Am i missing some step?
Some questions:
Should i take out the SIM CARD and the MEMORY CARD during the process?
When i'm connected to ActiveSync and i manually reboot the cell phone, when it comes back, it dont connect to ActiveSync, i have to take out the mini-usb cable and plug it again. Should it be a concern during the process?
After the process, my cell phone will be blocked or it will continues unlocked?
