I ripped a data ribbon cable on my touch pro
will part for sale
3000mah Mugen Battery and Back Cover
Backlight was going out frequently so dont buy that.
The digitizer has a scratch or two...but works
mirror bezel cracked in spots
i wouldn't mind actually fixing this with a new ribbon cable if there is a source.
its the main ribbon for the face/earpiece/vol that crosses over to the main board/slider
in light of this phones future however i would be willing to help someone out by trading your stock battery/door for the mugen 3k unit...
i just need a source for the ribbon cable.
thanks for any help.

Hey everyone,
I've ordered a defy screen digitizer, 2mm adhesive strip and a torx screwdriver set from Amazon, and they should be delivered this thursday.
Does anyone know of a GOOD quality guide (video or pictures please) for dismantling then re-assembling a Motorola Defy?
Preferably one for replacing the screen too..
I really don't want to mess this up
Thank you all so much, you've been a great help for the life of my device
For anyone interested, I've thrown my phone down a street and it was fine, then the moment I fall over at a house party - SMASH... Screen wrecked Not the LCD, just the gorilla glass
Sorted it, I just sort of guessed I apologise for the terrible quality webcam.

My TF810c was send for repair yesterday, but I was already told in the shop that one issue is my fault and it will not be fixed.
Considering how much TF810 cots in Poland I will not let go (especially that I know it is devices fault not my inattention.
So...
1. Seal on the hinge (the one between hinge and docking station is all ripped and pushed down by edge of docking station. Not nice as there is glue left inside and on the edge of keyboard.
More and more dirt get in.

2. Frame of the screen just broke (above place where all materials plastic and aluminium meet). It is not chipped (as after hitting something), just split.

I know they are caused by the clips on the micro usb cables ..
are they
1) Caused a design flaw by LG (causing such a scratch)
2) LG molded designed and molded the plastic in such a way
Attached is also another pic of my phone

Glass of my father's S4 was broken so I tried to repair it. When pulling of the glass some of this black film (?-look at the picture) came of aswell. The display is not turning on anymore, the phone just vibrates and then the led glows in blue.

What you pulled off was the AMOLED display. So, now you need to replace the entire display. You'll probably do better looking on Swappa for another S4, as the prices of the devices on Swappa are reasonable, being roughly the cost to purchase a replacement display and midframe combination. Display/midframe combinations though are readily available on ebay and other outlets.
That's what I thought. Then I'll get him a new phone.

No, unfortunately
It's a pain to separate the glass from the LCD, you need dry ice, special glue to glue the new glass and a lot of experience. Just buy the full LCD and digitizer for 20-30 $ on Ebay.
