Hi,
i run an the Mdeejay FroYo Sense v.2.3 Clean with hastarin r8.2!
So it runs very well and i don´t want to change the build.
In other one´s annimations are includes in the Sense!
Windows flipping and other beautifull things etc...
So in my build this option is not include, but i want to have it!
Is there a possibility to add custom anniamtions to an existing build?
thx

How to add a cab file as a package in your build!
First make sure you have the files you need with a .cab extension. This is the easiest way to do this. Drop the files into a location eg desktop.
.Open osKitchen go to Import
.Select button for cab installer file
.Press Browse and select the .cab file from the desktop
.Under Device Drop down select HTC Leo
.Uder Group select an existing group eg 04 Software, or if you want to create your own group type in the name here
.Under Name type in what you want to call Ext package
.Press Convert
You will then see a window with Operation completed press Ok
Close the windows and go into Ext packages and select the newly installed package!

Wonderful, thank you so much for this release. I'll get cracking on adding the things i wanted to this build and let you know how i get along. Do you want a copy of the updated Copilot cab to add to your builds?
Just in case
@GhostXSeries : Sent you PM on robotic voice.
Btw why are you on such old build for WM 6.5 ?
I wanted to give the option of upgrading the orgional builds so chiefs can have a choice. It was purely an exercise for me to see if it could be upgraded to the 576mb with office 2010 and .net etc.
I also had the phone on stand by with hspda last night and if my battery is right it dropped about 4 percent!!!!!!!
576mb android compatable kitchen now available for download
Thank you very much but now I still cant test your ROM Your link is very slow (
Please upload on megaupload.com, hotfile.com, mediafire.com, multiupload.com,...
Thanks
Sorry I am only going to be storing the images on VBN from now on. It is too much work to upload to multiple sites.
Downloading the Android compatible rom now, looking forward to finally having a nice, close to stock Rom that works smooth.
Keep up the great work.

I am currently working on a sense 2018 version that is also Android compatable. This will be up in the next couple of days. I have got sense working on the build I am just simply trying to modify the base build to tweak it a bit. I will hopefully have a mixture of tmobile 2.10, 2.14 and leo 1.66
Kitchen build has now got Sense 2018! As far as I can tell this is the first Kitchen to be released with Sense 2018 included
Hmm.. tried your kitchen, but (knowing not much about kitchens...) tried to find a project file (.kxml file) to load, but can't find it.
Can it be you missed that one? Or do I have to set up my own?
(e.g. an example ROM would be great)
One question: When the ROM is very small (eg. removed Windows Live and Office) will the memory for data storage be any larger?
one more.. Some imageinfo.bin files are read only. This gives an error when building (because the file cannot be overwritten) Is this ok or an error?

It is very easy to built your own project files. Simply select the operating system on the first screen eg os 21869 (WM 6.5) or 23569 (WM 6.5.5) then when you go into the ext packages screen simply select the packages for the operating system eg:
If you select 21869 then select
01 HTC Packages - This is the list of the main packages
02 Sense 2018 fixes if you want to remove the rss feader,
03 23569 fixes - Do not select this - only use this for OS 23569
04 Tweaks - You can select what you want from this
05 Software - You can add what you want into this folder extra programs etc
If you select the 23569 OS remember to go into Sys Packages and select everything for beginers, and select 03 23569 fixes. This folder updates things like the dial pad and the keyboard etc.
I simply tried to keep the Kitchen rar file as small as possible!
For the read only error, simply right click on the osKitchen folder, go to properties and uncheck an read only check boxes! Sorry about that I kinda forgot the check the permissions on the folder before I uploaded it

Already did - thanks.
I want to remove Sense altogether, also I don't use Office (using a better office suite)
Is it also UC capable? (And, could you please answer my question about the memory gain when the ROM has less packages in it?)

Memory will be better the less packages you remove. If you dont want sense, you can simply de-select all the manila packages and the start icon loader package as well. It is not currently UC compatable, I have not done much work with this yet, but you should be able to download the cab files and add them in to the package.
What other versions of office are you using?
Just wanted to write back to say that I've been cooking away using your kitchen build and it's got to be one of the best one's I've used. I'm so close to perfecting my own Rom and it's all thanks to you.
Have you tried including the Chainfire 3D drivers? When I've tried it's not gone right (this isn't a problem with your kitchen, as i think it's an issue with OSkitchen and the 3D drivers from what i've been reading). Thanks again for this.
Hello!
Can somebody make a Theme for a Sense-UI Froyo 2.2 AOSP Rom (like LeeDroid, Pays etc. ).
I want a port from The Skin "slate" from the RCMixHD v08.
I will very help me, when someone can make a flashable Zip from Framework-res.apk . Please Guys Help me!
I was copy the slate.apk but "I can not see the forest for the trees"
So I Hope for Help from a Themer from the XDA Forum.. So many good themes are here. And I canot imagn how long it takes to edit, compile, and signing so much pngs or 9pngs.
But for an experienced editor i think it will not take so long because the Skin is allready only to have to port or replace the right pngs.
So Help me Guys to make for me the best Theme for me.
Best Regrads

I thoght that is the AOSP or OTA Kernel wich Sourcecode was release by HTC since couple of days.
So it dosen't matters. I realy want a Theme for LeeDroid or Pays or another Sense-UI Rom because with slate I love the HTC widgets, Calendar, RSS Feeds and Contact. and I dont need the Launcherpro Anymore.
I dont want a specific Theme, just a Base wich can I use than. The best thing, is when it will include in the Theme Kitchen.
Please help me.. I try to make but I canont. Just a Base flashable Base with framework-res.apk and the stuff wich is important to have the totaly look and feel of Slate. Like the blue radio buttons, indicators, hover effects. and the beautiful semi transprent widgets.
Thanks
Hi,
fist my data:
htc desire hd ... with android revolution 5.1.5 and the CodeRed Theme.
ah i have 2.1 Sense installed ... can i upgrade to 3.0 sense,
so the softwareinformation shows 3.0 instead of 2.1 sense?
i want to have the new sense 3.0 lockscreen with the icons, which i can pull into the ring to activate them.
But how i can change the locksreen?
first i flashed:
HTC Sense 3.0 SMS Interface (version 0.4) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x with no framework interference
then:
HTC Sense 3.0 Weather (version 0.5) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x
then:
HTC Sense 3.0 Lock-Screen (version 0.10) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.x
but where i can change the lockscreen?
anywhere in the setup?
i rebooted, but i cant change the lockscreen, have no setting in personlize-setup
or should i flash the addon in a another order?
and is the addon: "RosieTrans5KD" and "Sense3_Mms-0.3" needed?

--- i can only choose between: scene, background settings
There are a lot of new versions of the add-ons you want to use. I'd give it a go updating them all through, then checking your settings to see if you get the proper menu for the Lock Screen. Make sure to use Kingdoms version or you won't get this. MMS is required for this though, but the new version will stop any type of FC which used to be caused by notifications,

You suck. You're the reason it takes twice as long to search for anything than it should. How dare you start a thread for help and then not even bother sharing the solution. You suck.
i agree. you should post the solution Might help others!
hey guys, maybe you should get the new ARHD 6.1.0 with offical Sense 3.0 for DHD?
Achotjan proud you to present Gingerbread ported Features !
Intro
this is a sources to by used by the rom builder's
and can not be as a module ,
I have ported EdgeGlow / Text Select Handeler animations to Froyo. Those cool animations are the unique adventage to use GB. Froyo is more speedy on many devices , and for x10 x10mini/pro and x8 , the camcoder is a real issue , and dont allow pepole to use GB , i share those sources for froyo as everything works in froyo , and is more smoother .
Progress of Ported Features
- EdgeGlow effect : Compleate
- Text Select Handeler : Compleate
Notice
those animations are already inpleamented on my Arc Rom , so test it now
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151933
Compatibility
all CM6 roms , just replace the sources files with mine and build
Release
- v1.0 : 15/07/2011

THIS is an incredible work!
thank you for your I'll put this in my rom and obviously give you credits
to have some little hint (cause the complete framework source is uploaded)
for the text handle, what are the files modified?
Cause i'm interested only in the text selector, and not in the glow effect, what files I've to look at?
(textview.java I think, but also others? icons and so on? )
thank you for the effort, and hope you can help me

hy , the problem heare is similar files are tuched , what i sugest to you is that
just back up your framework / base/core , and add this , and after that add all the fix or specified devices files , this will not affect it , also just for the theme , this is a big problem , you need to update it with your but be carefull , maybe will release a separete versions , but not for now , but one feature more this will not kill the rom just make it better
cheers
Achotjan
yes
The problem is that the code is very different from cyanogen one, cause I'm from AOSP, and added sources from CM7 and not CM6 ç__ç
Ill try with "diff" to see the various packages and see the differencies

I 'm using [July 24th] [Sense 3.5] Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Sense 3.5 build that just works! NAND ROM that best suits my needs. However I saw [11 SEP] Barebone CM7 v2b and came to idea to make similar thing with this rom for my personal use.
I would also like to implement NativeSD ROM, with that difference of leaving system folder on NAND rom. To be absolutely clear here, I 'm using linux OS and I 'm quite familiar with modifications that have to be done, so I don 't ask for help with that.
I would like to know is it possible to deploy nand rom to android emulator, and than use android emulator for development purposes for further customization, or is there some other tool that can be used for this? I did install android kitchen and I not very pleased with that.
When removing or adding system or market apps is it just enough to add/delete them, or are there some other things that I need to pay attention to?
Also when removing apps how can I see framework dependences to remove them as well if they are not needed anymore by other app?
I hope that is not to complicate to understand what I meant with this topic.
Thanks in advance.
The answer to my question about framework dependencies of a certain *.apk file that I want to remove, can be found in AndroidManifest.xml of that same *.apk file. Although manifest file is encrypted, information about what framework libraries are used can be viewed with aapt command (exp: aapt l -a someapp.apk).
I suppose this is the right way for doing this. Please correct me if there is a better way.
