location of the ambient light sensor? - HTC Aria General

Hello, I was wondering where the ambient light sensor is on this little thing. i know that the proximity sensor (not what I'm looking for) is above the a on the atnt logo. Wondering if anyone knows?

I think its behind the speaker grille

I believe it is right next to the proximity sensor above the &

Me too. If you hold it to the light the right way, you can see something reflect in that spot.

I used a high powered LED flashlight to confirm (240 lumens). There is a sensor there, I just don't know what sensor it is... lol

A broken screen wouldn't show up in a screen cap.

by broken I mean those pixels are borked and show only red for some reason.

If the pixels themselves were borked then it wouldn't show in a screenshot though lol
For it to show in a screenshot, it would have to be a software issue.

It only shows up sometimes... It's weird. If it's there, I could unlock the device and then re-lock it and it's gone.
Doesn't show in portrait orientation either.

OPPO Find 5 Easy Covers Are Back!

Looks like all the Find 5 colors of the case are back up for sale. I've only ever seen the navy blue one before this for a short stint. At $29 it isn't the cheapest, but it works well and isn't thick.

See my attachments. A single hole punch works great. The center is 15mm from the edge of the speaker slot and inline with it. So far so good.

The screen is not meant to rotate on the watches.
Gotta wait until the Moto360 for that.

And why is that? Motorola already announced that the screen would automatically adjust to fit both left and right hands, because of the button protruding from the side.

Soooo..? Yes you can set whether you want to turn it upside down, that's all. It will not rotate all the time and I think that's good.

It would be annoying, hopefully there's a rotation lock, but as per people that have had a chance to use the watch, it has auto rotation.

Broken screen. CM12 can I turn off proximity sensor?

I have a Sprint Galaxy S4 with a broken screen. It's still usable but there is a significant crack directly in front of the proximity sensor. My guess is this is causing the proximity sensor to malfunction and the phone thinks its next to my face every time a call is in progress. This only happens on CM roms. Stock ROM's work great. With CM ROMs I cannot make or receive calls because the screen goes black and we have to pull the battery.
I've tried all the different proximity sensor fix apps and even tried hex editing and scripting with terminal. Nothing is working. I have to stay on stock ROM unless I can find a way to disable the proximity sensor in CM Roms.
Any ideas?
You can turn off proximity sensor on OD2 Lollipop.

Sweet! Thanks for the reply. Is this just a regular setting or is there a hidden menu or something like that?

Issue with screen turning off.

So iv been having a weird issue with my s7 edge. it usually only happens just after unlocking the phone, not always. But when i go to swipe down my notification tray, ill swipe over the proximity sensor, and the sceen will turn off and the phone will lock. Even just hovering over the proximity sensor will do this. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've been having this same issue and it drives me nuts. I'm going to feel like an idiot if that one little trick fixed it lol. If it does fix it, then you are the man!
