Hi,
I followed all the instructions via xda/cyanogenmod for rooting the Rogers HTC Dream. Everything went just fine, no errors. But when I tried to boot up for the first time, the cyanogen screen came up (after the initial Rogers screen) but after 15-20 seconds, it keep restarting and thats as far as I get. No errors, just the cyanogen boot screen keeps restarting and that's as far as I get. Anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks!

Hello,
I tried flashing the radio on my hero for the first time. So I downloaded the GSM (my hero is a GSM one) 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26 radio in a zip format and updated it through the recovery mode. The update seemed to go fine, the progress bar ended, and my hero rebooted. It booted into the recovery mode though, so I selected the reboot option to bring it back to the regular interface.
Now however, it's stuck on the HERO logo and I have no idea what to do. It's been like that for over an hour.
Can anyone offer any words of advice?
I just pulled the battery out, figuring that if 1 hour wasn't enough for it to do whatever it needed to do, then it was surely just stuck. And now it booted just fine ... I just freaked out, since this is my first radio flashing and it definitely looked borked.
wow you got lucky, after pulling out the battery it worked fine.
I bricked a Dream while updating radio and i had the same issue after the reboot it was stuck on the boot screen.
Good thing it wasn't my dream.
Hi, first time modding and I've come up with a problem.
Baisically what's wrong now:
Phone is stuck at large green android logo when I turn on the phone.
Can't boot into Cyanogen
Can't get Clockworkmod to open
Phone only turns off with a battery pull
How I got the phone to this point:
Followed the instructions at wiki.cyanogen
(Backed up with titanium backup pro)
The first time I installed the mod I got stuck in a boot loop. But I fixed this by deleting data and cache in Clockworkmod and going through the steps again.
The phone and it's new mod seemed to work. I installed the google apps.zip, via CLockwork, still fine.
Then I tried to reinstall apps from Titainium Backup.
Some of these went well, but I started to get 'com.google.process.gapps' stopped working force close notifications.
I rebooted to see if that would make them stop.
But I got stuck in a boot loop of the Cyanogen animated logo, where it would boot, show me the unlock screen, I would unlock it, get another 'com.google.process.gapps' message and the phone would then freeze and reboot. The sequence then continued.
I tried battery pulling and tried to boot into Clockwork by holding down Menu Up and Power. But not after a while it just shows the green android logo. HELP.
I didn't read all!
So...
this problem is easy fix!

Why does my N7 seem to get stuck on the Google Splash screen constantly? I rebooted it earlier and it got stuck on the splash screen, now I can't even get it to boot up. It was running just fine, just having a problem with my works Wifi so I rebooted...
It has done this in the past a lot and the only way I was successful in getting it unstuck was by booting to bootloader and "fastboot reboot"
Am I the only one with this problem? I might have to take it back...
Your not the only one it happened to me a couple times if i recall. Sometimes it would just stay stuck on that google screen which I am really starting to dislike at the moment. starting to miss my boot animations on my atrix lol. But yea a hard reset or loading bootloader usually fixes it. Are you on custom rom? I was on Clean 1.1 before mines went dark.
I own a Germany O2 Milestone 2 and tried flashing MIUI onto my phone by following an online guide. I rooted my phone, installed and used bootstrap, flashed Bootmenu v0.8.6-v2.zip and then installed MIUI 2.5.25. I wiped twice and rebooted. The red motorola logo appeared and then the screen went black.
After 20 minutes of waiting I removed the battery and booted again. Still the same motorola logo and then a black screen.
My phone won't boot and I can't even access recovery mode. Please help me

yeah, I stumbled upon that too, and it worked perfectly! Thank you very much!
Recently my HD2 has been acting up a little, it's running android (I've basically followed and installed everything on htchd2android.com/how-to/how-to-install-android-on-htc-hd2-android-4-0-4/), and yesterday would just show the green HTC logo for a second before turning off whenever I tried to boot it up.
I tried taking out the battery and sd card, put it back in to boot up, but this time the screen flashed yellow and white and went all glitchy for a few seconds, and ever since when I try to boot it it shows a glitched HTC logo and stays like that indefinitely.
(You can see what the screen looks like currently at i.imgur.com/42kYqkl.jpg)
I've tried reinstalling the custom rom, everything bar a factory reset (which will be my last resort), but really I just want to know what's caused or causing the problem.
Any advice appreciated!
Had the same problem yestrdy and i flash the rom again now its working fine.. but you wait for someone's solution i suggest if ur data is important
