Edit Desire keyboard layout? - Is it possible - Desire Themes and Apps

Hello.
I want to edit the Russian keyboard layout of the Desire HTC keyboard, to resemble Bulgarian one. I did this for HD2, and the whole thing was editing some xml files. I am looking for any info that can give me a quick start( I am new to android, and dont even know where to look for files).
So, my questions are:
Is it possible to be done any editing of the layouts?
Which files should be edited?
any links discussing similar treads?
I looked through this one

Wing Keyboard

The keyboard (virtual) on my Wing is the one that I use and like. I want the 4 rows of keys like a normal keyboard. Meaning, 123.... top row, then qwerty next 3 rows. I don't like the ones that are ABC or 123. I also like the way my words are saved and stored for quick recognition. Where is this keyboard located in the Wing? I would like to copy it and the Dictionary to another phone.
I have tried all the other keyboards such as SPB, Rescoe, Interkey, etc., and do not like them.
Thank you!
I dont know how or where to get the stock htc keyboard you are looking for but I did want to make a recomendation, have you tried "BJK HTC EzInput Full Keyboard?" if i am not mistaken its what the latest htc models are rolling out with. Search this forum for it and give it a try all you do is download and install the cab for the keyboard and then the language cab and your set to go.

looking for WM6.0 JAP IME file or other way for japanese input

Hail all here first.I'm new to join the X1 family(Traditional chinese rom version).
I'm very satisfied about X1 until now,the last thing I wish to do is install a native microsoft japanese IME on it.Because install the chinese IME and japanese IME at same thime will get serious program conflict, and I don't wish to use 3rd party ime like CEStar...
Since I used to use chinese and japanese IME at the same time in my XP desktop, so I really wish to have this to be done on my X1...then it is really perfect.
So...anyone have a PURE japanese IME cab to use for it?I don't need font(chinese version rom can show japanese correctly) and other input method, only the files needed for japanese input method.I heard that change the default SIP to english can avoid the conflict of 2 IME,is this correct?Or anyone know any better way to disslove this problem, please tell me how to do.Thanks!
You can find the ime on this link http://hn801.hkes.com/Data/blog/WM5_IME.htm
Please tell me if you succeed installing on the Xperia.
I would like to know why you don't want Ce-star?
I am thinking about buying an xperia and want to use it as a jissho, but I don't know if it is possible.
Strob, maybe my solution applies to you...
I have a HTC Gene WM6 running an EPWING dic viewer, and it works wonderfully! I effectively search (in my japanese classes, almost everyday) through 1gb of dictionaries, most of then found freely in the web. I don't know if it will work on Xperia, but it will, probably. I also use JWPce for text editing from the time that I didn't have the proper IME. Try it!
JWPce: http://www.physics.ucla.edu/~grosenth/c_main.html#PPC
EPWing Viewers: http://maximilky.hp.infoseek.co.jp/viewers.htm
You can PM me to further explanations ;D
Good luck!
I have the CAB. file working with my X1. No problems whatsoever. I send emails a lot to my sister-in-law in Japan. Let me know if you want this file or not...Alohas for now.
I'd like this file, DoubleVision19.

Touch Input in .cab file?

I've searched and looked a lot for this. I found one but it was not ideal. I'm looking for a cab file of HTC's keyboard that is found on virtually every rom on this board. Problem is, a few of the clean roms which I prefer do not come with the Touch Input and I'd really like to add it.
Touch Input 2.1 any build for the Touch HD in a cab file. Anyone?

Change langauge HTC apps.

I don't need it very hard but I am trying to change the language of htc applications. Maybe not evrybody know but most htc apps are multi-langauge.
And how more things in your langauge how better
As all know you can change language of htc sense and add XT9 support for your langauge.
Almost all htc apps using files called for example this StreamingPlayer.exe.0409.mui
If you would change it to for example StreamingPlayer.exe.0413.mui you should get it dutch. But htc makes there apps reading the rom language so Its gonna recreate a file with the default rom language. And then it is not gonna work. So I want to know or find a way how fake the apps so they are thinking that you are using an other langauge.
There are also other apps for example live messenger who does not use a file but uses a registery tweak but the same deal if you change it. It don't work because the app is gonna check the rom language.
For people who think they are smart do not change HKLM/MUI/syslang you will brick your phone.
But I think if we can get this working for cookers it will be getting less important to make multi-langauge support since mannila almost take over the complete windows functions. Only default WinMO things like start menu lockscreen and notifications will stil same as rom langauge.
But overall I think how more things in your langauge how better.
Anyone ???

[Q] Need help to make keyboardbuttons larger

Hello,
I have installed an other keyboard that I like so much. For me it is the best keyboard I every had. The keyboard ist still running but it is shorter. The original keyboard on original phone is larger smoother and not blurry (see the line on the 3 bottom buttons). The left one is the original and the right one is my x8 with this keyboard installed. What can I do to change the dimension from keyboard? I think it was in an xml file from the keyboard.apk or from framework-res.apk? But which xml file? Please help me :-(
can you share this keyboard. thank
The keyboard is not one file. There are more files that must copy to System. Dont know how to make an installable file. And its not ready. The dimension is wrong.
I hope anybody here from the developers can help me to find the last issue with the dimension. I think that is the reason while it not runs so smoothly like the original.
The keybord have the same size(pixels)...
X8 res in higher.. and that is the reson...
Do you know what I can do to fix this? Did I make bigger icons for the keyboard.apk or did I change anything in any xml file? I dont know which file I must be change to fix the resolution :-(
Even if you find the file xml, I dont think you would be able to edit it.
The easier thing to do, is to decrease your phone resolution to look like x10mini... well its not a good idea..
Use SMART KEYBOARD PRO!
You can install skins, layouts and modify button size.
Why I should not be able to edit the xml file? At first time I start I think Im not be able to becam the keyboard running. I crash the system at once twice and so often but I dont give up and know it is running.
The Smart Keyboard is not this what I want.
can you share the file. I have both x10 mini and x8 too.. I could try to modify it.
