Anybody know of any a decent RSS aggregator that displays the content in a widget. Like an RSS version of friend stream ?
Did you try the "News" widget?
The news widget as far as I'm aware only displays the rss feed for one source...
No it shows them all, but sorted by feed.
I just found "Pulse News Reader" (free in the market, no ads!). It is the best RSS reader I have tried. It has 2 widget options, both with pics.
The best one out there is FeedR believe me but its not free...

Looks interesting.. I usually use Opera Mini for my RSS feeds but I'll definitely give this a shot.
what id like to know is if the software downloads the full article or snippet? I tried the spb insight software and it downloads a decent amount but i want a rss feed software which downloads ALL the articles from that feed.
If this does it or if there is any other application please let me know.
I installed yomomedia two days ago and I fell in love with the interface at once. It is was better than newsgator, which I used before. A lot more fingerfriendly. One thing that annoys me alot though is the weird behaviour of my Touch HD when I have autosync activated.
This is what happens:
autosync in ym is activated
my phone turns on every hour on the hour
stay on as long as it is supposed to when not being used (1 minute on batterie and forever on external power)
When I turn autosync off this behaviour seems to stop.
Anybody got any Idea how to fix this?
I would really hate to return to newsgator.

Hi,
Which is best RSS reader application in the market?
sgs have any default rss reader?
Thanks

I use an app named Feedr. It even sinks with google reader.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I read some reviews, and tried some. Feedr seems to be the best.
I use Google Reader, and I'm very happy with it. The only exception are podcasts, where I use the excellent BeyondPod . BeyondPod also syncs with Google Reader btw.
What I'm looking for is a widget that will either act like the Google Books bookshelf (without the Google Books app), or display the book I am reading on my home screen.
Even better, it would actually allow me to read from the widget itself. Or at least open up my reader app to the last page I was on previously.
I found a beta? app called Word Widget. I've tested it on my phone and it works well enough for .doc files but not epub.
