CR_MoD_2.1 request

Hello I've been trying to download chiefzreloaded stock 1.35 rom with root for a while now but the link to it broken androidspin is either down or the file was removed from the ftp. I also tried to download the engineering rom to do the updates and root process again but no dice 4shared errors everytime I attempt to download the engineering rom.
But my question is can someone who has the rom zip file on the computer or phone upload it and link it please cyanogen is boring me now and id just like to return to stock with update and root privledges.

Ps there is a file sharing app for the android its called "sendspace and you can share the link with people to download it and its free to use.

Link worked just fine for me check your settings cuz the links working just fine.

That mediafire link works intermittently ... sems to work best late night or very early in the morning. Bummed to hear the engineering build link is down ... just makes me feel like the device development for the slide is starting to tank due to lack of interest. I know I'm still interested ... love my Slide.

The engineering build is back up on 4shared just search "ESPRIMG.zip" its listed exactly as spelled.
Ill post a mirror I a few for the engineering build just in case.

good news for the noobs out there! Too bad I just did mine via SAvior method.

ok some what of a noob i rooted my last evo with unrevoked and worked fine. so could i get details on how you did it ie: were u using windows or linus, same steps as useing unrevoked 3, or is there new instructions and were to find them?

I think they closed the "beta" at 0330 but hopefully will be released tomorrow to the masses if the beta worked out well.
*On a side note, I hadn't used the IRC system before so I did a little leg work, installed ChatZilla and proceeded to make a IRC NOOOOOOB a$$ of myself. I didn't realize that everyone logged into the channel could see me rambling about the beta. Only after I figured out how to enter a private chat did I realize with the help of a seasoned used, that I had just got OWNED by IRC @ HTC-EVO!

Worked for me. Just Tried it a few minutes ago.

It's working for me up until the phone reboots, then it says that it lost connection with the phone and to try again.

Might be a driver issue. They had a special HBOOT driver in there last root 3.21.. did you use that one or just flashed aways

I used the driver that I downloaded from the wiki on unrevoked. Do you have a like to the driver I should be using? I can try it...

more power to them as it is certanially easier than my method...however sitting in irc i saw alot of people having issues...hopefully they get these resolved

I was also in the irc chat and it worked for me. It took a second try but it worked fine for me.

Just for giggles I installed. The new cw recovery and couldn't back up anything but the boot partition. So I hope they get that straight.

the problems last not were with htc syn and drop box being installed causing driver issues. Once people downloaded the latest drivers from unrevoked it went smooth. Simple easy root for noobs.

Will this work for HBOOT 2.02?

Took me a few tries at it last night. There was an issue where UnrEVOked was claiming that there was an error and asking if your firmware was too new. Upon checking, I had S-OFF, however, Superuser Permissions was not installed, and terminal emulator gave access denied when trying to use the SU command.
Ran UR3 about 2 more times after that, at the advice of one of the individuals in the chat room, and the third time appeared to be the charm.

Request: new market for gingerbread ROM as an update.zip

Any devs that actually read this forum, the title says it all. I've been using mdj's cyanogen mod 7 v 2.6 and I love it, but would like the new market. I've tried to install manually several times. There's an older thread in this forum that provides some instructions, but it didn't work.
Ideally, I would like to flash as an update.zip in CWM, but any thing that works is fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Mods: if I don't get a reply or a working fix within a couple days, I would like to re post in the developmental section. Let me know if this is okay.

Tried autoroot and it gave me some unknown error. Lets see what happens.

it is easy. I'm new to rooting and I did it with no problem. Just follow directions.

Thanks for reading the guide its so easy to do I have done it 6 times and help anyone out not hard at all so easy.
When using unrevoked it may say something about connection with the phone was interrupted when it reboots your phone after running the program. Dont worry its normal and now your fully rooted.
Can't go wrong if you need anything PM and I will guide you through it.

Let me know if you need help. Unrevoked is easy to use no battery pulls or anything insane just easy read the site and my links are in the order you need to do things.

Thanks my phone has been rooted since u had to use adb. But haven't been able to do the e z way.... trying to help my cuzin get what I got. Will try again.

Cool man. This is about the most easy way to do things to root. It's simple to unroot to all of those other programs people say to use can be a pain in the ass to use lol.
Glad it's working for you flashing and rooting is confusing for new people and alot of people can be a bit rude when you ask for help. I been learning everything I can from reading and trial and error.

This is as easy as it gets just follow the directons on there site. Make sure you don't have Htc sync installed otherwise you will have issues.

pc36img.zip may confuse people it is case sensitive PC36IMG.ZIP OS how it should read , other than that nice job.

If your not using a evo this method will not work for you. Check here to see if your phone is supported. This method listed here is for the evo.

Ya I have done it for many friends and help noobs out not hard at all only two steps. Unless the noob has htc scyn installed and didn't read that it will cause issues. lol.

This guide is easy as pie dunno what there isn't to like about it all the links are at bottom of page if you can't read the directons on there site that's your fault lol.
All it takes is two baby steps till your rooted
H boot driver and unrevoked 3 not hard at all is all it takes other methods it's a pain to unroot.
Unrooting is even eaiser.
This is the usb driver needed for WINDOW USER'S

Downgrade HTC my touch 4g (issues)

Hello guys, recently i try to downgrade my ht my touch4g (glacier) to android version Froyo...
But i have some errors when i put some codes...
ups i need to said, this is my first downgrade process using the command prompt...
I check one guide very very good. i mind its excelent but im stuck in one step...

when i try to changing version number to allow downgrade and gaining supercid with a gold card...
already type the following codes:
adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp/misc_version
but when a type that code recive this error
daemon started saccesfully*
cannot stat ´misc_version´ : no such file or directory
Already check this file in the platform-tools
and its ok because can see the document misc_version.c on the carpet
but i dont know what is my error...
PD : sorry if is not a correct place to put up this tophy but im a new in the forum...

i was installed one version from cyano the jelly ben and camera works bad cause flashing green!!
i found one fix for camera for affinity ROM but link its down... :S
