Galaxy Tab Factory Reset - Galaxy Tab General

If there is no way to boot into the Galaxy Tab at all!
Is there any way you can restore the whole Galaxy Tab without taking it to Samsung Service Centre??

Go to samsung.com and click on Galaxy Tab, then downloads and specify your type of carrier.... then you can download the manual... a great thing!
Here's what the one for t-mobile says to reset:
Factory Data Reset
From this menu you can reset your tablet and sound settings to
the factory default settings.
1. From Idle mode, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Privacy.
2. Touch Factory data reset.
This action erases all data from your tablet except current
system software and bundled applications, or SD card files
such as music or photos.
3. Touch Reset tablet.

You can try this hard reset method:
Reset Galaxy Tab with Hardware Keys
If Android OS is not loading then you can hard reset Galaxy Tab using hardware Keys combination.
* Make sure tab is turned off, Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to turn it off.
* Press and hold the “Volume Up” and “Power” buttons at the same time, when logo appears on the screen release the “Power” button and continue press the “Volume” button
* When recovery screen appears use “Volume Up/Down” buttons to navigate and select “wipe data / Factory reset” by pressing the “Home” or “Power” button (Depends on Galaxy Tab model).

How to perform a factory reset?

Hey people, Just started setting up my HTC HD2 when i came to the last page of the setup and pressed "finish" the device locked up and crashed :-(
Then when i put the phone back on none of the settings i had set worked and the setup option was no longer there it just went straight through to the UI.
What do i do to pretend it never happened as if im starting again?
Hard reset:
Hold "volume up + volume down and press soft reset button" (all together)
Soft reset button is under battery cover
With the HD2 switched off, press Volume down + Volume up and then briefly press send end key. The bootloader should appear.
To perform a clear storage.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap Security > Factory reset.
2. Enter “1234” and then tap Yes.
so which method is right? lol
both, one is via GUI (windows screen) the other is manual/mechanical way

[Q] Can barely hear my speaker on max volume

Hi, all.
After Android 4.2 update I can barely hear any sound coming out of my N7 speaker. I mean, literally - I have to put my ear next to it to hear anything (but there is some sound, just really quiet). With my headphones the sound is fine though.
I tried resetting to factory defaults, but that didn't fix it. I tried using Volume+ for increasing max volume, but that changed almost nothing.
What can I do?
Hi.
Did you try a hard reset, as described on google support ? :
######
If your tablet is on, power it off.
Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power until the device powers on. You should see an image of an Android lying on its back.
Press Volume Down twice, until the screen says "Recovery mode."
Press Power to restart into "Recovery mode." You should see an image of an Android with a Red triangle after a few minutes.
While holding down Power, tap Volume Up
Use the volume keys to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press Power to select it
Scroll down to "Yes - erase all user data" and press Power to select it
Note: If at any point during the above steps your tablet becomes unresponsive, you can restart it by holding down the power button for several seconds.
#############
If that doesn't work, I (personally) would try to flash a factory image via fastboot.
If you don't know what this means or you don't want to do this, I would contact your reseller/google for a swap of the device, after you tried the hard reset above.

I'm not sure - does that differ from the factory reset that can be done in Settings? If not, I have already done that.
Well, give it a shot?
