Cab file for "keyboard" input option

Greetings All,
On my NRG ROM under input settings, the only option I have is "Touch Input". I found a cab for the Transcriber function and installed it, but the one I like the best is just plain "Keyboard" and this is missing. Does anyone know of a cab to install this option? Thanks very much!

Thought I was the only one with this problem!! I've posted about in in the thread numerous time, no answer from NRG, or anybody else. . I even tried 2 contact him on twitter about it. I use touchpal keyboard, and I can't reg. it without this setting. As a result, I had 2 stop using his roms, that I been using 4 over a year, since my fuze, because of it..

Yes, I have searched and asked questions on the ROM thread without any response. Another problem is bluetooth. I have a bluetooth external speaker I use for movies and audio books. I've had a hard time getting that to work and had to revert back to NRG's Oct. 7 ROM. If I might ask, which ROM are you now using which has the keyboard functionality? I will use that one too for now! Thanks!

I'm using Agent_47's Valkyrie_v4.9 FireStorm\RHODIO\LEO 28002. I've tried pretty much most of the roms, and this 1 is the closest 2 NRG's, with all the programs U need already cooked in like pim backup and the tweaking apps. I like it alot.

Update bro, finally got NRG 2 answer me on twitter bout the input settings, he says it BACK in on the 28003 builds released 2day! I bout 2 download it!

Windows Live and certificate problem

Installed windows live from the marketplace and and it wont let me sign in it says i need a certificate and change my date and time did a search and found this and it never got solved for these roms on this device http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=2745745
any ideas?
using MIRI's rom without it cooked in.
i put it in his thread but no one had any clue as they dont use it

????

same problem here, been scouring xda two days for a wlm cab. ??
i mean, i dont really want to use a different email provider and change everything!
I'm also using miri/dinik ROM v.17
Will someone please provide a cab? pleeeeease?

i'v just encountered the same issue, looks like there was a problem with my sd card, the phone did not recognize it at all, it wasnt even in the folder list, just removed it, stuck it back in, soft reset the phone and all is well (for now.. i nearly had a heart attack)

For future reference it was the time and date for me, make sure its set right

[Q] HTCSense.com on HD2

Hi all
wondering if anyone here is using the htcsense.com website for either the ported deisre hd or desire z?
I've signed up and seems to work ok generally except it won't pick up my location? it says i'm in the middle of the ocean near south africa except i'm pretty sure i'm not there! ;-)
running mdeejay desire z 1.3 (need to update my sig - sorry)

I was using htcsense.com and it worked great, but in the meantime a camera is more important and so i switched back to normal desire rom

GeneralWest2010, did you manage to get the location working? i still can't get it to pick up the phones location? am i doing something wrong? is there something that i need to do?

It worked on my mdeejay desire z v1.0, but have some problems with it on mdeejay desire z 1.3.
Did you enable the phone finder option in Settings -> Location ?

I cant even seem to log on! I signed up on my phone but it says it cant log in =/
Anyway, my brother has the Desire HD and I can tell you that the sense site is still pretty buggy, the location doesnt work all the time on his phone, nor does some of the other features!

thanks for that. guess will just have to wait until more people use it and htc to sort it out. just wasn't sure if it was just my phone.

haha thanks... unfortunately if it was even on land i might have a chance! it says its a few hundreds km's in the middle of the gulf of guinea! i don't like the ocean :-(

same here too

location is not working for me too on mdj 4.1 hd build. ringing phone works (most time)! has anyone a workaround for this?

what I ended up doing was having to restart with a clean build and login again with the email account that i wanted to use as default ( i have more than one ) then it re-synced and everything is working now including location finder. although when i changed builds it has duplicated all my contacts.
seems like they have a ways to go to make the system more solid.

HTC Problem
Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that many people (myself included) are experiencing the very same issues with original, unmodified Desire HD's. I called HTC about this only a couple of days ago and they openly admitted that there were problems. In fact, to quote them word for word:
"you can't register a new account because it's not working properly. If you give me your email address we can let you know when the problems are fixed".
The person I spoke to claimed to have no idea what the problem was or when it might be fixed, but he had no hesitation about admitting that there were problems at their end.

Sorry I'm not sure what you are trying to say? I am only talking about 1 phone - the HTC HD2 / Leo.

oh I forgot to mention that it seemed to work better for me when i use the international code for my country. ie in australia i set my phone number up as +61xxxxxxxxx.
Not sure if it makes any difference but i tried both and this way seemed to work ;-)

[Q] Call and Texts not showing contact

Apologies if this has been posted already but I cant find it anywhere. Maybe I am looking too hard :confused
I have the HTC Wildfire with wildpuzzle rom. I have synched my contacts up and they are synched up with F/book and everything goes well.
If I get a text come throught and have the number stored as +4415100000000 I get the contact details appear eg. Mum, but then if the number calls I only get the number eg 015100000000
how do I get the contact to appear on both?
I dont want to put all the numbers in twice

Unfortunately I haven`t tested any custom rom so I can`t say. Check the respective topics of CyanogenMod, OpenFire, Modaco, and look at the bugs mentioned.

This is a problem with all roms based on the Chinese 2.2 froyo. I just changed the numbers for my most used contacts and will change them back when the official 2.2 is released

just put your landcodenumber before the phonenumber, then it should work.

[Q] hd2 android SMS / contact number problem

Hello all,
I recently bought an HD2 again (after a rubbish galaxy S) and this time I installed android. (DFT stock desire rom)
everything works great, except for the following.
When I enter e number in contact in format 0475123456 or +32475123456 (belgian formats) and I call the number there is no problem.
but when I enter the SMS menu, and I press the call button he displays the number 32475123456, so not starting with 0 and not with +32 as it should be.
Now sometimes these SMS messages do not arrive at its destination. And when I call from out the SMS menu, I end up at a different location then the number I wanted to reach. Very strange, but mostly it is a fixed line number, and not a mobile number...
I think the 32475123456 number can be the problem that sometimes SMS messages do not arrive...
Can somebody think of anything this can be?

You can try 0032 instead of +32 for all your contacts ..

it doesn't help, I use operator 'Orange' in Poland, still can't sent SMS otherwise than by entering the number manually

Yes it will... There is also a script that can solve I though(search something like "xda android dialer fix script" on google), but you might want to try a different rom as the battery drainage of this rom is pretty bad(smoothness is still unbeated though).
Hint go for gingerbread...

thanks man, now at least I know there s a fix, when I install another rom. I was already thinking of going to gingerbread. I like the nexus HD2 one, is that a good one?

For what I´ve read the Nexus rom should be good, I use the hyperdroid rom (v11) and it works very good(after adjusting the DPI)
