Basically whenever I open about 20% of my installe apps they just crash instantly. In addition whenever I make a change to a program, for example if I input my address into a program or I am making a save on a game, when I reboot all of this data is lost as if it never happened.
Is there any way to stop this from happening? If not is there a method to reset my phone (or remove all applications) without affecting my contacts, as I don't want to have to put them all back on again.
Thanks

Hi,
I have a problem with some doctors in my network that forget their ppc for a while, lose power, and then have to use their ppc to input patient data. They usually plug it in, turn it on, and magically see (thanks WM5) their app still there. Problem is that they forget to set back the date and still connect to the main database. And when they try to find the patient data, we have to search painfully to get the data back, as it is usually saved on tape when date is too old, so the data disapear after the next nightly backup.
I'm completly overhelmed. I'm sure it could be easy to program something that get the system date, and save it in on file. That program could be run everyday at 1:00 AM for example.
Then I could run the set program at any time (for example before connecting to the database) and set the date at the latest value.
I tried to check mortrunner, but there is no set time function. Anybody know how this can be done automaticaly? Is it hard to program?
Thanks
I have found that the more messages I have in my in/out boxes for text messages, the more frequently I have to do a soft reset because WM froze. So, I periodically clear my boxes. However, I reciently got a replacement phone because of a bluetooth issue. Now, with the new phone, I cant get the messages to really delete. I have tried "Clear Text Messages," manually deleting the txts then deleting again from the deleted box, and using the "Empty Deleted Items." Each time the texts disapear, but when I do a soft reset, they return. WTF??
The phone is a stock Verizon VX6800 with no custom ROMs/Radios/etc. The only aftermarket software I have installed yet is ThemeMaster to switch my themes.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Anyone know what's going on with this?
Only thing I have to suggest is before you reset the device, make sure your text message app is shut off. Typically you'll lose new texts and such when you don't, works the same for everything deleted. Or just use the power button to shut it off. I heard it turns off everything for you when you do that.

I think this is a lot of poo myself. What does it matter if a message is setting in a file with no activity.
But yes, as mentioned, try shutting down your messaging in the running programs after you delete them. Then reset it.
Hey everyone, please help me!
last night i was sending a group sms to 4 people consisting of about 14 messages each. normally nothing goes wrong, but this time the phone just froze. I reset the phone and it seemed to be working fine, but when i tried to open the sms/mms nothing would happen.
After a while i got frustrated and began to continuously tap on the button to open the messaging screen. Finally the phone seemed to be doing something, as the windows processing icon come onscreen and was rotating.
But after a few seconds the phone gave me an error saying,
"Cannot open 'tmail'. A critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Memory, stop programs that did not automatically stop, and try again."
when you follow the instructions and reach 'memory' however, there is no option to stop programs as they have instructed.
i have used sktools to end the process, but now the tmail.exe is neither showing up as a running process or in the CPU usage.
I've tried numerous soft resets as well, and am trying to avoid a hard reset as i stupidly have not backed up my phone in a very long time.
Please help!
Had the same problem after backup restore, couldn't solve it without Hardreset. However you might try and have a look at your registry. If you have nothing left to lose (Right before you make a Hardreset), delte the whole inbox key and see what happens.
when a calendar alert happens, click dismiss and it comes back 15 seconds later and it doesnt stop until i delete the event...wtf!?!
just a guess, but I would think either your data is corrupted or you have an app running in the background that is causing the issue. I would hard reset the device and try to run it without any 3rd party apps to see if the problem goes away.
You will lose all of your settings and data when you hard reset It so make sure to backup your info first
Been looking around but I can't seem to find anything similar to what I am looking for here that isn't dated 2011-2013ish.
Being on Sprint, with an Unlimited and Unthrottled account, and with limited WiFi access. (Sometimes ****tier WiFi than Cellular even), it makes restoring a phone after a clean wipe annoying as hell as if I leave it to use cellular data, anytime it hits an app > 100M the Google Play Store will just sit at "Downloading" or "Waiting for WiFi" until I clock on the app, hit stop, then hit download and uncheck the "Only download using WiFi".
Since Google Play has no ryme or reason to its downloading, (Why in 2016 can it still not just download something else when one hangs? Why can't you pause a download? Why can't you download more than 1 thing at a time? Why can't it download Smallest to Largest app, or Alphabetically?) it makes the restore process a sort of clustertruck as if you don't let the phone restore properly, it doesn't restore some of the data and other bits for certain apps and settings ( I have a Titanium Backup of it all so I am not unprepared, but it saves me some time getting things up and running once again).
Is there any known way to get rid of that WiFi limit so I can just download an app without it trying to Data Block me for each big app? I wish there was a "I have 'Unlimited' Data. Shut up and take my bandwidth!" checkbox I could set and forget.
