iPhone 4 data plan - HTC Aria General

I'm thinking of buying an HTC Aria, but i don't know if my iphone(4) data plan work such as, mms, internet, and etc. Anything that uses internet.

Unfortunately it won't. When I switched from the iPhone 4 to the Aria I needed to get a new sim card since the Aria does not use micro sim and also had to switch from iPhone data to pda smartphone data.

Dead sim cards?

I'm just wondering, if anyone has issues with a dead sim card during use of android?
Not sure if it's that my sim card just went bad or if it was from using android.
If anyone is in the same boat let me know, I know for sure my sim card is bad because I'm using a backup that works fine.

did u check for enable data/internet/mobile network?
i did a sim card activation a while ago and internet stopped working so I started calling t-mobile, turned out data was turned off..lol
its not just data thats not working. The phone wont connect to tmobile. It would not find any network. Just shows me a x above the network signal bars. I have even tried a factory wipe. Nothing works. I fear it might be the s=off state thats causing it.

[Q] Nexus 7 3G No Data with AT&T SIM

I just got my Nexus 7 3G and inserted my SIM from my AT&T Galaxy Note II. I get 4 bars but cannot get data. I have tried using several of the AT&T APN settings I have used on other devices but cannot get data to work. Has any other AT&T user got this to work?
Note: I finally got it to work using the old wap.cingular settimgs.

Hope you have the right data package on your account or you're going to get flagged.
Yep I did, I clipped my Sim from my galaxy note/added new apn (same one I used for the note)/ took a few secs but worked just like that

[Q] Change Phone ID

Is it possible to change the ID of a Droid X to fool Verizon into thinking it's a dumb phone? My wife is considering upgrading to a smartphone for the first time and I want her to be able to try it out using WiFi only for a while first. Any help would be appreciated.
Unsure on what you mean by dumb? I have a Droid X, no service, I use it on Wi-Fi all the time and as an mp3 player. You could do the same putting it in Airplane mode and turning Wi-Fi on.

She has a "feature" phone now to make calls and texts from. I would like to activate the X for her to be able to call and text from, just not pay for data yet.
It's impossible. The DROID X has a built in 3g sim. While most feature phones have a built in 2g sim. Verizon does have a prepay plan. I would look into that but for simple testing purposes, you can just reset the phone and skip setup.

Thanks for you input guys. Unfortunately it looks like I may be stuck getting her an iPhone.

Same Sim card S5 as in S3?

Can I use the sim card from my S3 in my S5 or is it better to use the sim card the S5 came with. Any benefits / drawbacks one way or the other?
(On AT&T)
Thanks

Yeah, both are Micro SIMs you'll be able to just swap it over.
Thanks! That's what I figured. In the end, I had to call AT&T anyways to activate it, because I couldn't find the activation code in any of their emails, and they went with the "It's recommended to use the SIM card it came with" canned response, so I used it. That and I was talking to them with my old phone.
