This is the latest video of Windows Phone 7 running on the hd2 and this video looks 100% real check it out.
Update: There is a newer video and this shows a lot more proof for you non believers
Update 2: I added a post for some of you guys wanting one to vote if this is real or not. I added the chance of you to vote for both if you ar undecided so enjoy. Leave a comment after you vote.
Not impressed

One thread wasn't enough? You had to spam all the HD2 boards with this even though it has nothing to do with Android development?

I don't think there is anything wrong with that, I don't really look at any of the boards except this one so I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
I think it's annoying if it's not true. (See page 3 of the first thread.)
its just a matter of time. It wouldn't surprise me if the elite XDA devs been working on this for weeks maybe months....
Well it seems real, but as you can see the bottom part of the HD2 is not visible. Probably they have plugged in a USB cable as soon as the bottom got out of view, and are running it through an emulator on their PC or something. I think it's fake
did you post this in every section of the forum??
please try and contain your excitement......
I hope its real, i would run it.
It looks legit to me but then again it could be a shell replacement/rom that someone outside of XDAD has created. Either way, it looks to be pretty smooth. I'm still not sure if I like how "simple" everything looks though. M$ is on the right track with the simple UI because more people will be willing to try it out but they maybe should have given an alternative to people that want all the options.....not sure I see Android or even IOS users wanting to use this (hardcore users that is). It is pretty though.....did i just refer to an OS as pretty?lol.....
I don't see why you also posted this in the android section. Its not even confirmed. In fact, I hear it still has a 6.5 core.... so its probably just a theme.
I've noticed a lot of people on this forum like to jump to conclusions and only hear what they want to. And then will argue what they believe with no actual facts to back it up. This last paragraph isn't specifically about this thread... its just a general thing I've been seeing a lot in this forum.

This definitely doesn't belong in the development section. I thought it was bad enough seeing this in the android general section after already seeing it twice in the general section. I hear that this isn't even a real wp7 rom... its basically a theme on top of a 6.5 core. Nobody knows anything for sure yet. He should at least wait til there's some sort of confirmation that its real before posting it in every single section.

I posted it in so many sections because not everyone looks in all the sections srry if that made any of you mad there's only two now and that's in hd2 general and hd2 rom development again I'm srry if this made anybody made.
And from what I understand this is real there's more pics I'll post them
Looks pretty real to me and there's no cord plugged in is that enough proof.

Edit:
Hi, I have a question. Since a couple of weeks I use MDJ GINGERBREAD ROM. I prefer a "Sense" ROM but I couldn't find one smooth as a native one (more or less).
The point is, is it expected a smoother sense ROM under Gingerbred, or it will not be a significant improvement?
In addition I suppose the base for a sense gingebread rom would be thunderbol
What I've heard, is that Sense on gingerbread roms isn't possible yet as HTC didn't release any gingerbread compatible sense yet.. so I guess it won't be possible untill a phone comes out with native gingerbread + sense..

There's not even an offical Sense that runs on Android 2.3.1
Thunderbolt runs on Android 2.2
Do a little bit of reasearch before starting a thread about non-sense
Additionally, considering what features you want from sense, you maybe able to get them on your homescreen or wherever with widgets.
The Mods have just tidied up the forums, and still people insist on starting question threads in the development section.
That's why we have a Q&A section.

You can give Fancy Widget Pro a try, it has some beautiful flip clock skins. The free version is limited, so to enjoy the full package you need to buy it.

If you want to get sense earlier on new builds, you need the source code of sense so xda can port it, but too bad it is not possible, even if u got it, it is illegal as sense is actually owned by htc so you should not reverse engineer it...

just download beautiful widgets from a black market or the actual market and you have a number of customized flip clock with a weather app just like HTC Sense with various skins for the weather as well
Any chance at adjusting vibrence, contrast or saturation with a custom rom? With an unlocked bootloader, I wasn't sure what was possible with the Xoom and some dedicated devs. I like the screen better then the ipad, but it can certainly be better.

First, you are not a developer. This belongs in general.
Second, being able to set a range of brightness and contrast for the auto brightness to use would be damn handy.

You know what, this thing uses an geo force video chip right? We should be able to have a ton of color/contrast settings.
Haha..so the idea of having this possible in a custom rom is not enough because I am personally not a developer?

I may be mistaken but I do not believe the developer forums are only for developers. This post is a question directly relating to development and seems to be right at home. I could certainly see a case for it not being here, or being here, either way.
That being said, I am sure that the reply post did nothing to promote the OP from contributing to this site.

First, putting things in a numbered list makes you sound like an ass.
Second, he doesn't have to be a dev to post in the dev forum.
Third, his post is placed properly. Settings for saturation and contrast would have to be addressed in the kernel/rom.

Alright, my bad. I thought the rules were the same across the site. Evo development area is for people creating apps and cooking roms. General is for people asking questions.
Thread DELETED/Locked??? This is DEVELOPMENT section not Q&A/General!!!!
I suspect as a device sees more developers that tactic becomes necessary, but that is rare... Although I would LOVE to see that kind of support for this thing!
Is it possible to adjust these settings on other Android devices? I've never attempted it on my 3 Android phones, I've never felt the need. I can see the benefit on the Xoom, but I don't know if it's even possible to adjust the settings. Wouldn't it have to be part of the video drivers? If another device using the same chip allows it, then it should be conceivable.
Actually the question section is for asking questions
Edit a: how do we not have one

On phones w/CyanogenMod you can change the render effect right in the settings menu. You can actually put a color overlay on the screen. I'm not sure what this means for us other than someone should send a Xoom to Cyanogen.
All you have to do is do CTRL-U in photoshop
I would also be interested in this as well. Looking at an ipad right next to the xoom you can see slight washed out colors especially in facial tones.
Trying to talk myself into getting one and if the color could be calibrated some how that would be sweet.
ps been a lurker / reader here for a while and I apprecatie OP for poting this question.
So has there been any talk recently about this kind of mod for the Xoom? Seems to me that, based upon the amount of talk I've heard about the "washed out" Xoom screen that something like this would be a pretty big priority among developers. I'd actually be much more anxious to see something like this developed before any further OC kernels or other enhancements.
Ok, I've been waiting for this rom to be released and finding out that it was canned due to lack of interest. If enough votes we can get this rom reopened and released. This rom needs to be released so it can break the monotony of the Gingerbread and Honeycomb roms thats out there. ZenExp rev 7 was beautiful and I can't even imagine how Rev 8 would look like.
Please vote to have this roms released. Thank you.
P.S. I don't know no other way to state my vote, maybe by typing "please release"

Yea I'll vote even though Im on a Dinc now. I still have my Eris laying around enjoying its retired life. Could have made a poll to go with your thread.
DINC|CM7|INCREDIKERNEL
This was one of my favorite roms. I use xtrSENSE now. The froyo and gingerbread roms are alright. I just don't really care for them. The sense based roms run so much smoother on my phone. I would love to see this reopened. I would definitely rock it.
Excellent people, keep it coming. We need to let MAK know that we love his work. GB is great but there are too many roms that look the same. I use now GSB and go back and forth with xtrSense/xtrRom. I would love to see this released. It'll be my everyday rom.
If this comes out I wouldn't get another phone. All these phones coming out with different UI and downloadable 3d ui's that the Eris can't handle. But if this comes out I'll be more than satified.
Hm, maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not sure I see whats so appealing about that UI. Hopefully this doesn't sound like I'm trying to rag on your idea, I'm not, trust me.
Are there any screenshots laying around that "show it off" a little better?

Its not my work, but somebody elses. Its simple and different from all those Gingerbread roms (they are all so plain). At least this rom has some themes that are appealing.
You may look on this thread on the 5th page for the zenexp rev7 to get an idea and some more info. but its the same screen shots I posted.

Why do u want to downgrade your HD2 to an operating system made for dummies???
iOS is a closed its not like android in the way that the source code is available for the world to see... And iphones are all alike to each other besides suttle changes and has notthing in common with hd2 hardware... So even if the source code was leaked it would be nearly inpossible to correct all the bugs and incompatibilty that would rise and APPLES legal hammer would sue everybody

Guess it's that time again.
Some dude, without searching, asks if we can port iOS, then a some dude will give the very hilarious and completely original joke of "why would you downgrade your HD2 like that..." and be very proud that he has successfully executed humor.
Then someone takes the time to write a legitimate post with a full explanation on why it cannot be done even though the OP will never read it since he never bothered searching in the first place.
Then someone like me points out the worthlessness of the thread and most of the responses in it.
Then a couple more people will argue as to why iOS is better/worse than Android is better/worse than WP7 and the thread either gets closed or finally dies out.
/the end.

You don't even have cm or aosp working properly, a whole team hasn't managed to port sense over to the galaxy s 1. A sense port is in fact possible, but it will take ages and a great team to do the job, which I doubt will spent their time in which they could've made money on something a few users would kind of like. Get a professional team, pay them, and that is when you will see your proper working sense rom.
Don't get me wrong, there are people who would like to try, but they will come out disappointed, for they will have to create the entire processor sources and get them to work on a closed-source rom. Probability of a working sense rom are very low.
Miui on the other hand is a nice alternative, it looks good and is way easier to port.
Something I forgot to tell by the way, if your s2 has a tegra 2 processor and htc ever releases a phone with tegra 2, which is very unlikely, you are in luck. If you have a samsung processor you're out of luck, since htc probably won't ever use processors made by a concurrent.
