When I connect the Tab to my PC it tells me it has to turn bluetooth off. Why?
Since this is not a phone you can put to the ear to call, this means it can only call with loudspeaker when connected to the computer. Sort of makes it a little less useful as a phone. Or am I missing something?

There seems to be many times when my BT stereo headphones (Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS970) are connected functionality-wise to say Pocket Player and I hear music. But the Hands Free portion of the BT is not attached. At such times hitting pause/next track/etc on the HBH-DS970 does nothing. Sometimes powering off the DS970 and back on re-establishes the Hands Free connection.
This makes me wonder, when it's not working, what does Bluetooth say the Hands free is attached to? Is it possible to have the Wireless Stereo hooked into one thing and the Hands free be controlling something else?
Another thing that goes along these lines, and I have no way of fixing it, is that sometimes for some odd reason I just cannot connect my DS970 to my phone to actually make phone calls with. Now I know it works because, well, most of the time it connects and works. But lately, more and more, it doesn't.
When it doesn't the symptoms are, naturally, that I hear nothing in the headphones when making a call and cannot use the mic built into the DS970. But also, while in the call (because the menu pick appears no where else unless your in an active call) selecting Menu will show a grayed out "Turn Hands Free on". When this happens I cannot use my BT headset to make calls no matter what I do.
When this is working then the "Turn Hands Free on" menu pick is not grayed out and I can turn it on.
This leads me to want a BT application that can expose the true internal status of the BT connections and perhaps allow the user to manually override situations that are just plain wrong like the above.
I don't know if this is possible or if this is a really simple question however is there a way to disconnect a hands free device in 1-2 clicks.
what happens is this, I have a BlueAnt Speakerphone in the car I get out of the car (and forget to turn of BlueAnt) walk 15m and make a call - phone is still connected to Hands-Free, so how can I quickly disconnect the hands-free and make a call through the normal phones internal speaker.
I suppose I can assigna button to be comms manager and disable bluetooth however I want bluetooth to remain on if possible (just d/c hands-free temporarily)
Windows Mobile 6.1 on HTC Touch HD
You can try this, it merely toggles bluetooth.
However, I have had the same problem as you, so decided to make my TD2 KNOW when it is in my car and KNOW when it is not. I use GProfile for this. It knows when it is in my car because it is connected to my car cradle (it is charging) which is also an FM transmitter (it thinks it is connected to a headset). This then automatically turns bluetooth on when cradled. When I un-cradle it, it turns bluetooth off thus disconnecting from my handsfree headset.
GProfile is one program which does this but you could use Mortscript instead.
Hi,
I have had a look around and found nothing on this.
When I try to connect my moto360 to my car as a bluetooth headset (as my phone usually would) I am able to see the car's bluetooth and connect to it.
Wear shows the device as connected for a second or so then immediately shows it as disconnected. tapping on the device prompts it to connect again then disconnect straight away.
Has anyone experienced this or something similar with a bluetooth headset?
Thanks in advance.
Hi XDA
I'm using a K88H SmartWatch and a LG G3.
So I already installed the Mediatek App for notifications and a app called Sound about.
My problem is the following. Once I connected my phone the wanted behaviour is that when a call is incoming I want to see it on the SmartWatch but and can answer it there but the sound is coming from the phone. This already works so far. But once the call ended due to the second app my Bluetooth watch is disconnected as phone and only works as a media output device. So I have to reconnect the phone mode manually by pressing the phone button on the watch and reconnect it. But I would like to get it done automatically.
I set SoundAbout that for the phone call audio the phone app decides which sound device should be uses. And in the Bluetooth settings I put the phone call behaviour that the Bluetooth mono auto usage is deactivated. So once a call is made the phone switches from Bluetooth to normal phone as sound output.
So my question is how do I get my phone to use the Bluetooth device as phone again once the call has ended.
Or easier that the phone uses the earpiece for sound and doesnt disconnect the Bluetooth device.
Thanks in advance
Edit: I also tried Bluetooth auto connect app. It automatically disables Bluetooth when calling but only turns on Bluetooth automatically again once I open the app again. Maybe there is a setting that I haven't found that switches Bluetooth back on once the call ended.
Hello,
I have a problem with my S10 plus samsung...
when my bluetooth is on and connected to the device, ALL applications alert come through bluetooth and not the phone (except call ring)... I do not usually keep the bluetooth in my ear all the time...
I would like to have my application alerts to come on my device without having to disconnect my bluetooth OR disconnect the "media" option of my bluetooth...
how can I do that? ?
thank you
