I am not a huge fan of the 3D gallery anymore. What are some of your favorite alternative gallery apps? One that will load my Picasa Web albums would be nice too.

These are about the Album app. I have some albums reduced down especially for my phone, I notice the N1 sync's with Picasa though, so some are duplicated. Does it properly sync, as in download smaller versions of each picture from each album? I'm opening the Picasa ones and they seem slower to snap into sharpness than the ones I put on the SD card?
Also, is there a way to stop certain folders showing in the Albums? I have all sorts of odd images that the app finds in other app folders which kind of spoils the effect of the album.
Is it possible to view my Picasa albums in the Legend's gallery?
Also i'd like to slide my picasa photos with the fantastic sense widget...

To view picasa albuns/photos you will need to download "justpisctures" app from Market, it's the best one.
To make the photos slide in the sense widget, you will have to download the photos to your phone.

This is my first time with sense UI but i don't like it too much!!!
Is there any possible can install the program which is Gallery in Nexus One ?
Maybe im missing something, but why cant I view pics Ive downloaded from the browser in a gallery way, meaning flipping through each photo within the same folder?
I can view each pic individually but not scroll through them all.

I love everything about Picasa and all its features. Including syncing from my web albums directly to my Nexus 4's Stock Galley App.
But seeing as It does not support Subfolders/Sub Albums and It tends to just throw everything in a root folder, I'm trying to look for an alternative.
Is there any cloud based storage where I can put my pictures on and link them folders to my Stock Gallery App as Picasa does? While still keeping my folder structure? I am using dropbox at the moment, but unfortunately cant figure out how to shortcut to my pictures from my Gallery App

Since moving to S8+ from other android phones, this issues was irritating me. While in camera app, if I go to gallery, I want to see only photos taken by camera and not all the media from whatsapp, facebook etc. The suggested solution of adding .nomedia in those folders did not appeal since that would impact other applications browsing those folders too. So this is what i have done and it works well enough for me.
Samsung gallery app has setting to ignore albums, so I went to that setting and checked all the albums except camera. This was manual and I had to check a lot of albums. After that was done, gallery shows only camera roll either in camera app or outside camera app.
I installed another gallery app (quickpic from xda - https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/mod-gallery-quickpic-based-4-7-4-t3790425) to browse different albums including my photos.
That seems like a good solution for non rooted phones until samsung improves their gallery app
