i am sending back my phone, i need to install wm 6.5 back in my USA tmobile HD2... Can someone please help me out,
What have you currently got?
You're probably gonna need a stock ROM for your region - that most recent official one will be ideal.

im running android energy froyostone.
Just restart it and don't boot Android then, or am I completely misunderstanding your op?
Well if you're sending it back you are gonna need to flash a stock rom and remove the hspl, as your warranty is void with that on it. Look in the rom section... there's stickies that will have all the info you need.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
stock tmous 2.13 ROM:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/gsm-hd2-u...ial-shipped-leaked-tmob-rom-radios-links.html
uncompress it and take the .nbh rename it to LEOIMG.nbh. Put it on the root of the storage card (not the 16gb stock that came with it, but something smaller will work).
Put the ROM into bootloader and you are all set. It will flash the stock ROM and relock hspl.

Hi all
I apologise if this has been asked and answered but I can't seem to find any info on this... I am looking for the original TMobile UK ROM, I want to flash custom ROMS to my phone but want the official ROM just in case I need to return my phone for some reason..
Any help on this would be great...
Thanks
"leo official roms"thread first post first link first folder.
Thanks... Quick question for you, If I install HSPL and flash with a custom ROM... Then decide to go to the TMobile ROM using that ROM, will that remove the HSPL or not... I'm only asking in case I need to take my phone in for repair or something...

install hspl then flash anything you like using USB, , then if you ever need to totally factory reset, use the tmo rom you just got and flash from sd card, that will reset spl, radio and rom to factory shipped. If you flash the T Mo from USB it will not remove hspl, but it will work fine, and is usefull sometimes to 'reset' the memory between different cooked roms.
So I've installed a couple of ROMs, but now I'm thinking about turning back the HTC HD2 to RadioShack and getting my $550 back. It's not because the phone is bad, I just realized that I don't need it.
How can I roll back to a custom ROM? Because I don't think they will return the money if the phone has been hacked. (Besides, I unlocked it, so it works with AT&T).
yeah i was wondering the samething. I saw the thread, but there were so many roms, i dont know which one is the correct one, i saw there is a new one 2.11 but its a test rom. i just need the stock rom. Getting rid of this tomorrow for sure.
so no one knows?
Nobody!!!!
Check Here
2.10.1 is there stock us rom it can be found here on the [ROM]Leo 1.5 T-MOBILE Test & Stock ROMS [2.11 is here!!] thread.
You can probably sell your phone for a nice chunk if its unlocked online.
Huge Demand at the moment.
This should get you back to stock.

So which one of many displayed in that topic should I use?
Bouyark,
Thanks for the heads up on that Unlockr site. I was getting a bit confused in which radios, roms etc etc to use to go back to stock. That file they had did it in one step and the phone is perfect just like out of the box new.
Again,
Thanks !!
I dont have a tmous, mines a euro hd2 but heres how i would do it, assuming that i have hspl
Id get the 2.10.1 rom from the tmous shipped roms thread, (though i suspect it doesnt matter which one, so long as you have a recent one)
Flash the rom.
Check your radio version, (though the radio deffinately cant be wrong, cos non tmous radios brick tmous phones, right?) but if necessary flash a diff radio.
Run HSPL1024 again on the PC, choose 2.08.0000 from the list, which will remove hspl.
Done, stock rom, radio and spl.
I have had no such luck in another thread the tmobile us hd2 section and ppl are I feel being kinda snotty to me. I would like if someone could answer a few questions for me and help me out.
I want to Flash to Energy.Leo.21905.Sense2.5.GTX.Themed and I got the HSPL for it. My question is where can I find the stock rom and spl for the phone incase I need to warranty exchange or return it. I have the Tmobile US 1024 Leo

Hmmm well try searching the forum. If that doesn't help, i'm sure I saw a stock T-mobile rom somewhere...HSPL will allow you to install the T-Mobile rom back onto the device. Go to T-mobile's website, i'm sure they've released an update for the HD2, you can flash that back onto the HD2. And remember to remove HSPL when you send your device back if something happpens. Hope I helped
Thanks yeah. I guess the better question is the update they released on the tmobile website is that suffecient since thats just an update?
go to t mobile section, click rom development thread, one of the top 4 or 5 threads (its a sticky) is called [rom] leo 1.5 test and stock roms or something like that, in there is a list of roms from 2.0 right up to 2.13 (stay away from those below 2.10, just for safety, some of them have dodgy spl's)
the two you should take note of are 2.10.0 and 2.13. Theyre the two stock roms that the tmous shipped with. (the 2.10.1 in that folder isnt an official stock rom, your phone will see it as a cooked rom)
Ahhh Awesome. Thanks. So if I need to send it back I uninstall the hspl and when I install the stock rom the spl is automatically put back?

depends which is your stock
if its 2.10
install the 2.10.0 stock from usb, then run hspl1024 and choose 2.08.0000
if its 2.13
run hspl1024 and choose 2.08.0000 and THEN flash the 2.13 stock from usb.
for 2.10 you can do it either way round, remove hspl first and then flash the stock, or flash teh stock then remove hspl. (because it's stock, it doesnt need hspl) for 2.13 however you must remove hspl first, because you need to flash back to spl 2.10.0000 and hspl1024 doesn't support that, so when you flash 2.13 if hspl is NOT installed then your spl will be upgraded to 2.10.0000, but if you leave hspl installed it wont remove it, and you will need to downgrade again so you can remove it, then upgrade again, lol.
my ROM is 2.13 and spl i suppose is 2.10
So who was being snotty to you. I answered all these questions in your last thread about the same thing. I ever went so far to link you to everything.
i felt a few of your replies were kinda anotty in assuming i didn't read any of the threads or didn't do searches. just to clear it up i spent weeks looking around reading before i decided to sign up and ask not because i was lazy to read but because i didn't understand it too much. also a few other people i felt were a little rude in assuming that i would be doing all of this with no computer.
Sorry if people come off that way but the information is there and it tends to get asked a lot and answered just as much so people tends to get tired of answering the same thing over and over.
I'll apologize for everybody. Sorry if we came off rude. Like I said it's all there I linked to what you needed in the other thread. I understand it can be frustrating to try and find information that doesn't contradict itself from thread to thread. The last thing you want to do is brick an expensive phone.
So you'll want to download HSPL2-sync the phone on the computer-run HSPL-follow instruction
Once that is done go into T-Mobile rom section - download one of the NRG roms( can't go wrong with his for your first flash)- unzip and put the file LEOIMG.nbh into the main directory of the memory card - turn off the phone and put into bootloader - hit the power button to load the rom - done........
Hope that helps and simplifies things for ya.
its alright man i understand there are idiots that don't read. i know my problem is with my browser the search doesn't show up so if it doesn't come up in google i don't find it. i did read though i gotta downgrade my stockrom in order to get to spl 2.08
yep HSPL 2.08 then Hard HSPL 2.08
cool cool. I sent a pm to nrgz and asked him personally to make sure the rom I chose will work but no reply I think he might have a crap ton of messages and wont read it. Waiting to see if someone will let me know. it's the gtx themed energy leo rom for 1024
Which one are you looking at I can tell you or tell you which one is the right one with the same options.
Did you have a chance to run HSPL yet?
he is talking about the gtx version of this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
Yep it will work with no issue. Though using that one will not have any of the preloaded T-Mobile programs. As long as you know that.
hi,
I am new to Android so this might be a noob question but i really want to know how to flash my phone back to original from liberated rom. i grow impatient of waiting for official 2.2 to release so i want to flash the liberated rom but how do i make a backup of my stock rom so i can restore the phone back to its original when it comes to make a warranty claim or when htc has the official froyo release for aria?
thank you

Here is the link to download the original Aria ROM. Click on the "More" link to see the instructions to follow to flash the RUU.
http://www.htc.com/us/support/aria-att/downloads/
thanx for the reply.
1)if my aria is SEA version not under AT&T, is there a difference?
and
2) i've read somewhere from the forum that HTC Sync wont run on CM6, if i flash cm6 instead of liberated, can i still use HTC Sync to recover it back to original?
3) by flashing this rom, my phone will be like original out of the box? which allow me to claim for warranty? ( rooted or flashed will void warranty)
Thanks Again

OK sorry, this ROM file is for the AT&T branded Aria. I do not know where you would find the SEA version of the ROM.
It is true the HTC Sync cannot interact with CM 6.1 ROM at the application level to sync contacts and such, but you can still use HTC Sync to flash these HTC original RUU ROM files.
Hopefully someone else may be able to point you to the SEA original RUU ROM file.
I don't know what "SEA" is but this may be of some help to you and PM'ing the OP or posting in the thread someone may be able to help you...unless of course one of the RUUs from the first post is what you are looking for:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819610&highlight=stock+ruu
Edit: I guess SEA stands for southeast asia?
Hi Everyone.
This is my first post but i have been an enthusiastic reader for some time.
I know the answers to my problems are out there but im finding there is so much information im drowning and totally lost on what i need to do.
I want to put Android on my Telstra HTC HD2 T9193 via SD.
The SPl is 1.66
ROM = 1.72.841.0 WWE
RADIO = 2.07.51.22_2
Some sources say i need to go back a version before i can HSPL1, Some say i need to upgrade my radio, some say my telstra version is painful to change.
I believe the steps i need to take are:
1.Upgrade to the newest HTC Stock. But i cannot find a ROM to suit the Telstra phone.
2. So i need to use the HSPL method to change my radio?
3. Install HSPL4
4. Install the custom ROM
5. change the radio but i am unsure which one i get?
I think i have it mostly muddled up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Sej
assuming you want nand android
hspl4
choose 2.08.hspl
flash any radio with a x.xx.50.. version, higher than 2.07.50
flash magldr
flash cwm
flash android
Hi thanks.
I actually wanted to use the SD Roms.
Thanks

Flash HSPL4
Flash radio above 2.08.50 (I'd go 2.15.50)
Run your SD Android ROM.
in addition to what orangekid has posted, in case you're after the custom rom:
Flash HSPL4
Flash radio above 2.08.50 (I'd go 2.15.50)
Flash custom rom
->in my case, i'm using chuckyrom lite for my wm6.5. i noticed that flashing the radio to 2.15, keeping the t-mob stock rom and running an android sd rom caused a lot of lags. not to mention the famous sod (sleep of death).
Run your SD Android ROM.
-> i've been using mccm hd 4.5 and it's simply working great for me. do take note that there are tons of roms you can try. what you can do is try out each of them and determine which one works well for your unit. what may be working flawlessly for me or the other members could turn out to be a lemon for you. thus, try them out and you should be able to find the right rom for your device

This is sound advice Personally I prefer NRG for WinMo and ACA for Android
Hope you've made some progress here... I've been watching this space for more than a year and finally decided it was safe enough to make a move.
My HD2 has the standard ROM, I flashed several radios with varying degrees of success in terms of sensitivity, power consumption, telstra compatability. Settled on 2.15.50.14 for now. Testing continues.
Installed JaguarMIUI-V16.7 on a new class 6 4Gb MicroSD.
I have no luck formatting SDs (x2) for my HD2 (have to reseat sd after bootup to get the card recognised) and this one is screaming and stable without being formatted, just copy on the files into Android and Miui folders in the root of the card.
I have a boot loader installed but don't use it as the build is so stable it's not a problem to open file explorer in Windows, tap clrcad.exe then haret.exe the few time a reboot is required/desired.
Enjoy!
Hi Saj,
I had the same problem..
I found that you had to go backwards to go forward as Telstra Locked the ROM.
Basically i had to comb the web and find an older version of the Telstra ROM...
from there I had to use MAGLDR 1.13 to load the boot file
it did however wipe the WM6.5 completely off the phone.
I am now using a Port for ICS and i have never been happier
I will see if I can find the original post for this on the web and let you know
