I tried installing the Ocean Wave and Dandelion wallpapers posted on the forum but they didn't really work completely. Does the droid 2 have specific wallpapers? I'm looking for a nice one like the ones listed above for my phone and the search option force closes this app for me.

I'm probably going to have a spending spree with live wallpapers, then complain about my battery and resort to a static wallpaper

Hi guys. Hope I'm posting this in the correct place.
I came from Blackberry recently and did alot of alpha testing for Bellshare, developer of Berryweather and other apps. Berryweather is by far the best weather app for Blackberry bar none. I have looked at every Android weather app I can find and there are none that come close to Berryweather. I'm trying to talk the dev into making an Android weather app equivalent to Berryweather but don't think he'll do it.
I think there is a great opportunity for an Android developer to make a really nice functional weather app. Any takers?

No interest huh? That sucks.

I came from Berry Weather and there are alot of weather apps that stack up.
Palmary Pro
Weatherbug Elite
Beautiful Widgets
The Weather Channel
What are you looking for that you dont see in android apps?
I've tried those and although they're decent apps they don't have alot of features Berryweather has.
Im used to many nice custom maps. Up to 10 locations. Customizable notifications with popup integration. Probably more I haven't thought of.

I'm in the same boat. I purchased 3 weather apps for my android phone and none of them will reliably follow my location like berry weather did. Now don't get me wrong they advertise that their app will do it, it just doesn't. I will second porting berry weather to android. Would pay if someone took it on.
The guy who made all of the custom maps for Berryweather has moved to android so he's game. Just need someone to develop the app.

MIUI/Bali running Vibrant
I hope I'm posting this in the rigt forum. I downloaded a live wallpaper from market that I really like but every now and then it goes away and a regular wallpaper is put in its place. What gives? How can I keep my live wallpaper from dissappearing. It does this regardless of which live wallpaper is set. Thanks!

Your memory resources are low, too many process running and it shuts down lwp try a task killer set to auto maybe advanced task killer.

Well I do already use advanced task killer and I have auto-kill set for 30 mins. Is there anything I can do?

That's all I got, I'm not too familiar with your device. Someone will be along to help you soon I'm sure.
I had this problem on the mt3g and could only use the simplest lwp's.

You are running a task killer. when it kills the live wallpaper it will go back to default image. exclude the live wallpaper from the task killer and you are good to go...
Steps.
Set your live wallpaper
Open advance Task killer from menu, (not the widget)
It should display your wallpaper application on the kill selected application window
select it and exclude from the kill list
Problem solved
Unfortunately I cannot post my question in the development section because I am new to XDA, kinda frustrating but oh well!
Hopefully I can get this question answered about the destroyer ROM....... How do I add the big awesome clock with the weather to the home screen!? I feel like a tard because I cannot figure out such a simple thing but I cannot find it anywhere!
If someone knows please fill me in!
Thanks a lot

Haha, you are not supposed to post questions in the development forum. Cool that they are blocking new users from doing that.

Download and install beautiful widgets, that will do what you want. Weather animations and everything.
You might want to check to see if the rom already comes with the htc clock. Long press on the home screen to add a widget.

Will that be the clock widget that he shows in his screen shots of the ROM?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
fancy widget app from the market also has a digital clock u could use for that rom
Ya I was looking at that one too. I just REALLY want the one in his screen shots. Goes really well with the themes

As there is a plethora of weather widgets on the market, I have tried to find one that works well and displays my local climate, instead of the nearest major city (which can have drastically different weather than I do). So, I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good weather widget that will replace the clock on the A500 and display my local information, a clock, and possibly the next few days forecast.
Beautiful widgets? Best 3 bucks ive spent on the market...

Weather Widget from Read Transformer
I'm using both the weather widget and ice cube live wallpaper which was originally pre-installed on Asus Eeepad Transformer. They can be downloaded from Xoom discussion forum under theme discussion board.
My Acer could barely function with that live wallpaper from the Asus.
Got the same setup as Beanieandme and it runs smooth as silk mate.

Weather widget from transformer works great and found my town easy.

I noticed from the Xoom thread that the apk's aren't signed, will they work in a non-rooted device?
I haven't rooted mine yet, still a little cautious on the whole thing in the event something happens. I'll likely do it once we see more custom roms and such and I know there's a definite way to back out of the rooted system if needed (e.g. Warranty/Peace of Mind).
Could someone post the link, I couldn't find the weather app
