AOKP reboot when screen off

I finally got to install the latest AOKP after realizing it needed the ICS bootloader. But whenever I turn off the screen it instantly reboots. It does this every single time. It would do this back on one of the old versions of AOKP that I was able to install on the GB bootloader.
Anyone else experience anything like this? Or any ideas how to fix it? I'm assuming it's some kind of kernel issue, but I don't see many alternatives for the A500 like you do for other devices.
Thanks in advance.

Well there other roms based off acers ics that for me is running good.
For aokp your going to have to wait till cm9 gets more updates, so that aokp can run smoother. Maybe try aokp agian after the cm guys for our device gets nights running.

Yeah, I was running (I think it's called..) Flexreaper. That would run fine. But I run AOKP on my GNex so I'd like to keep them both the same, lol.
I might have to switch until this issue gets ironed out.

Call Problems CM10

Hey all, today i installed CM10 with semaphore on my mates i9000 and it works well. But when he recieves a call, he cannot hear them for about 20 seconds and then he can hear them but with a really bad echo. What could it be? Modem? Also, he says that they cant hear him either. Making calls doesnt have this issue as much as recieving them. I really need help with this. Any help
Edit: He is semaphore 2.4.4s with hugemem patch, 114% liveoc, sio, deep idle enabled and 100mhz when gpu isnt in use enabled.

Tell him to uninstall it and to give it a try. Same problem happened to me with viber. When I uninstalled it all went well.

you can test with ICS/JB modem from My Android Collections
Yeah, this actually sounds like something another modem can improve, for a change.

i tried changing modems but it didnt help. i installed gb and it answering calls worked fine again. installed cm10, same thing. changed modems again, same thing. it seems that when i answer a call, com.android.phone freezes and fcs. it also fcs when i hang up. any help? its very weird, also this phone has a broken proximity sensor, could that be why?
Hi Bro.
I think it's more better that that u say your problem in official CM10 topic.

also, i can hear them after 32 seconds exactly. before this, its almost as if each mic is muted. (both sides) . can someone please help me with this? calling on this specific device only has worked properly on stock roms but they are sh*t. also, it only happens with answering calls not calling

[Q] can't connect to WiFi running newest liquid smooth rom

As I put in the topic, I'm running the newest liquid smooth build on my N10. Everything is running really great on it, but I can't connect to WiFi at all? Sorry for posting this here but I'm a noob and can't post in the dev forums yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated considering my tablet is useless without WiFi!

Some wifi problems are inherent to 4.2. But if wifi doesn't turn on immediately after flashing any rom, usually a reboot cures it. Before rebooting tho, try cycling Airplane mode on/off.

I've already tried rebooting several times. I even booted into recovery and wiped everything again and reflashed the Rom. Still no WiFi? I've never had a problem with it on stock or cm10.1

I never had wifi issues with my N10 until I decided to give Liquid's newest build a try. I tried all the tricks - reboots, toggling airplane mode, even started from scratch and reflashed the entire ROM but had no luck. Sometimes it would connect for a moment, but then would immediately disconnect. As soon as I returned to my latest backup (Steve Spear's AOKP pub builds), and even since trying other ROMs I've had no wifi issues. I'm saying with 100% certainty there's a problem with Liquid's ROM, but it sure seems that way to me.
Maybe redownload the ROM and start over (perhaps something got messed up while downloading). That's the one thing I never tried as I got tired of monkeying around with it.

Would you mind posting the link to that ROM? I don't have time to mess around with issues and need a solid and fast daily driver. I use autocad on my N10 for work so I'm needing this resolved badly!

Nevermind, stupid question lol I'm downloading another Rom now. Ill just have to wait on liquid smooth to come out of its beta stages before using it.
Hmm... I'm on the latest LiquidSmooth and wifi works just fine for me.

See that's what doesn't make sense to me, nobody else seems to have this issue? I might just try wiping everything and reflashing again tonight.

malfunction?

Hello
I have a nexus 4 of 9 days, and something happens rarely.
Block the night. Remain locked at night. It may be a malfunction? or a rom problem?
Not root
Thanks

At night when the phone sits idle, the screen remains black and no longer listening.
Morning he must do a reset to start.
What could it be?
Are you rooted if not RMA that sucker sounds like you got a refurb.

may be a conflict with Smart ram booster?
Try doing factory reset and flashing the stock ROM again to see if the malfunction still happens.
If the malfunction still happens, return it to Google (RMA) for a replacement.

Incoming call screen delay

Hi all.
I've been looking at different threads and a few people talk about it but not seen any fixes.
When I receive a call I get a 3-4 second delay before the screen wakes up meaning I don't know who is call or able to answer the call.
I'm running PA4 with r201 FK
If any one knows a fix please share.

Even we are facing similar issue on Note 2. Tried few things but issue still persists.
Seemingly got something to do with some service.
So it's not device related then?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Was just using my phone and tookna call, even when screen was on it still took a long time to show who was calling!?!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Seems to be getting worse! I have to wait for about 5 seconds now, or maybe it already did.
Does no one have a fix?
Thinking about reverting to stock to see if that fix's it then maybe flash each thing one at a time and see when it breaks.

If you're playing around with kernel's and under clocking the CPU this can affect how quickly the phone wakes up. But my phone has a delay of a few seconds before I am am aware of a call coming in. Maybe it will be fixed in a future update.
Phone : Nexus 4 /Rom : cataclysm / Kernel : Stock.
I've only installed them the same as others but they don't seem to suffer the same problems.
Any one have any fixes?

If you have DU Battery Saver or any similar app which puts your device on low CPU usage upon locking, then uninstall it. It worked perfectly in my case.
