There are programs for windows mobile but I can't find any for windows smartphone 6.5 . I'm also looking for stock quotes software... one that can use stocks from non US markets.

Wow you got it working? Which device do you have? I tried with the HTC Maple (called Mobilicity Snap here) and could never get the audio to come through the earpiece.
Anyway, the two programs I've tried that DO work are AGEphone and fring.
On the Mobilicity HTC Snap I got it working, yes. The question was not about using the earpiece, it was about using the native VoIP client. In fact, I did manage to get the VoIP calls through the earpiece but it has a very bad negative effect: the ringer also goes through the earpiece after a few seconds, thus making the ring on incoming calls very quiet. In my opinion, it is much better to use the headset for VoIP calls as it provides excellent quality, no echo and no problems with the ringer.
The problem with outgoing calls is in the way WinMo's VoIP places the calls. They work with Voxalot but not PBXes. I am assuming everybody can just use Voxalot as a middleman between the HTC Snap and the voip provider if there are any problems with outgoing calls.
That's funny, as I could never get it working with the headset. Outgoing calls worked, but only over the speakerphone, while incoming calls had no audio at all. The mic didn't even work; I could press the keypad and get a DTMF tone, but that was it.
Could you tell me exactly which steps you took to get the audio to come out of the earpiece? I kind of gave up and am using fring, but it would be interesting to see how you did it.

Sorry, apparently I was wrong, even with the earpiece hack (I tried both of them) the most you can achieve is to get the ringer to go through the earpiece but once the call connects it goes back to the speaker.
The only solution is to use the headset. I tried for outgoing only and I am able to dial, send DTMF and speak, so the mic works well.
With the native client on the HTC Snap VoIP works only with headset. Overall, I have been using WinMo for about a week and I can say that I hate it more than any other OS I have used. I wish we could get Android to boot but seems like the CPU on the Snap is messing up the effort.
Fring is also garbage on WinMo. It often fails to connect and when it does connect the call quality (over WiFi) is much worse compared to Fring on S60 or iOS. It eats the battery like a monster, something that doesn't happen on S60. There is no way to change/silence the ringtone with Fring on WinMo and if a call comes over the GSM line while you are on a call with Fring your Fring call goes through the speaker, very embarrassing.
I got my Snap for 100$ from Mobilicity and I think the hardware is worth it, but Microsoft should be paying me for being stuck with their useless OS.

Seriously though I dont think you can. If you engage the dictaphone during a call it only records your end, but the other end is too faint. But, if you put it on speakerphone, then I am sure you will be able to get a comprehensible recording.

Their are multiple topics about this. The reason for this is the OS can't capture the mic. There is something you can do to record something but it's far from perfect: use a normal recording program, put the device at the max volume or put the device into handsfree.
It sucks, but that's the only way so far.

My Sony Ericson K750i can perfectly record a phone call, but the P3600, which costs a lot more, can't? Not even with software/tweaks?
If a device can play the info he receives from the network through a speaker and send the info that he receives from the mic to the network, why can't it store the info at the same time?

Simple, their has to be a "connection" between the speaker (hardware) and a recording program (software). For some strange reason MS decided not to support this function in WM5 nor WM6

A liitle bit offtopic, but a crap Siemens M35 from year 2000 shows me when a call was diverted to the phone, and high tech device Trinity, released some months ago doesn't or even can't do that.
This is something like the new model of the Mercedes Benz doesn't have remote controlled central locking and it also can't be bought separately...
as I know, resco voice recorder helps. (since I've a data sim in it and can't make phone call, can't check this out) this prog allows to dedicate a hw button to record anything (said to record phone calls as well) give it a try...
My phone can record phone calls, but only the callers voice is picked up.
there is a recording in the call note option, but only the other side of the conversation, not your voice,

I tried Resco Audio Recorder, and it records my voice loud and clear, but the callers voice is very faint, but present.
This is a Beta version, and I can't get the option to automatically record calls to work, so any call you want to record has to be done manually.
Bought a wizard on ebay, nice refurb with all new accessories and battery for a good price...the only reason I bought it was for voip, if it scratched my right nut I could care less, all the other features are 2nd to voip for me.
It worked best with wm5 and sjphone, wm6 and it's voip capabilities are no better than any other 3rd party app I have tried.
Even with a plugged in headset there is echo, it's not a config problem it's as simple as audio feeding back from from input to output, and vice versa. I know alot about voip and setting it up, I provide hosted asterisk servers to business and do all the configs myself.
Is there a htc product that does voip properly through the ear piece?
And is blue tooth at least usable, as I understand it you need to load some audio drivers to get the best out of it?
Any advice from someone who has had success would be appreciated, I understand that fixing the ear piece problem is likely far off.

Hi, i am new to voip (as i only recently moved from my home country), i am using it on my pc and got it configured on HTC P3600 (TRINITY). i am using VOIPRAIDER to call, my calls go smoothly and receivers can hear me but i hear nothing not even thru speaker, no outgoing ring, no voice. secondly i installed sj phone etc on PDA but don't know how to use. can someone tell me. thanks

AGEphone , nimbuzz, portsip, fring worked for me. I heard voice ok, but other side always say they can't hear me. This is with gizmo5.

Google for X-Lite. This is free app I have tested on TP2 in combination with my company TrixBOX server and worked O.K.
Only that I did not manage is to drive sound through earpiece (the sound goes through speakerphone).

I've used SJ, x-lite, and the internal VOIP on WM6. SJ is bar far my fav. All work alright, but I have volume issues with the internal voip - too quiet. Using an external earpiece is easiest with all apps, but you can use Audioroute to force the audio to the internal earpiece. All wm voip apps will route to either the speakerphone or the external earpiece by default unless you use audioroute.
Also, download Don't Sleep Wifi so that you can use voip on wifi easily without the phone going to sleep (and killing your call!)

So far I used fring, call quality is ok but the sound comes out of the rear speaker...maybe I should try plugging in the headphone and test...
for me is the same problem, cant make without the speaker. will try now the audioroute. so far fring works good on wifi and 3g with like 2 sec delay

Speakerphone, as you say, is easier to use but sometimes need a little privacy. At least one side privacy.

Has anyone setup the internal voip on wm6.5 yet? If so what did you use and how?
I've been searching for Internet calling function in WM6.5 on the TP2 but nothing found yet. Has anyone got that working in WM6.5?
Fring works for me
I have Fring set up with my SipGate credentials. I use iDialer to originate calls through Google Voice.
I don't use this setup often, but it works fine when I do. For more information on my Winmo/Google Voice setup, see the links in my signature line.
use PortGo softphone, it is better than SJphone and the sound is coming from earpiece
portgo is not tat clear, i feel fring is much better with ear piece, i have tried nimbuzz too work ok but drawback is sound come thru speaker

I've been trying to find a SIP client for the Vibrant that works well. Everything I tried has had bad audio quality. Typically the outgoing voice is reported as distorted. The incoming is somewhat better, but tends to have breakups.
I've tried a lot of clients. sipdroid, fring, etc.
Does anyone have this really working well?
I am very interested in this as well. I can't seem to get SipDroid to connect to my Cisco Call Manager. Anyone with advice would be appreciated!

Are you using any special options (codecs, mic settings) to get good quality on your outgoing voice on SIPdroid. The incoming seems fine to me, but the outgoing is distorted with some breakup on the other side.
Probably depends on the system you are connecting to. I am connecting to a 3CX phone system.
I have been dealing with the same issues lately. However, SipDroid and 3CX seems to connect well. Now I need a recommendation on the actual SIP provider and configuration if these. I definantly want to use these on 3G.

I use sipgate as my provider with sipdroid..the quality isnt too bad the person on the other end sounds somewhat low/and they often tell me ..they can kinda hear an echo.
I always have people complaining about the echo. I can hear them quite fine though.
By using SipDroid, I can sort of cut down the volume of the echo itself but it's still annoying because I have to speak VERY slow for the other party to hear me.

Can you make the internal speaker (the one right next to your ear) work with Sipdroid, 3CX?
On my vibrant, they always use the external speakers for voice.
with 3CXPhone just head the toggle button for it. Should work fine.

How do you do that? Even when I select Earpiece, I still hear the sound from the external speaker.
Has anyone managed to get bluetooth call controls like answering and hanging up VOIP calls from bluetooth headsets working on this phone? Normal calls work fine but if I'm say on a Hangouts call and hangup from my headset the call audio just switches from my headset to the phone speaker instead of disconnecting the call like one would expect. I had the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy phone but I thought with this being a Pixel, call handling regardless of cellular or VOIP would be handled consistently similar to how iOS handles them. Anyone have any tips or workarounds to get this working?
