Hey Guys,
I'm having issues with HTTPS pages with the default pages. I posted this in the apps section by accident.
How many of you out there are having the same issue?
The pages ive seen this is on paypal.com and a few others that use HTTPS. It just goes to a white page and dies.
What are you using to connect to these HTTPS pages? And what exactly is happening when you try to open them?

If I try to go to the login screen on this website (http://www.alldatapro.com/includes/main.jsp) I return an error in android, however the page loads on a standard desktop. Any ideas on a fix? Maybe a proxy issue?

Try using another browser. I use Opera Mini 5 and have no issues on log in sites like I do with the Android browser
agreed. sometimes the android browser will either bring up and error, or just send me back to the login page. Try Opera
Opera mini does open the site. But it would be nice to use the native app. Where is proxy info stored for the browser? I have a feeling that is the hold up

Does anyone else have a problem with blank web pages loading? I'll be browsing some sites and it'll randomly just load up a white web page. It's really annoying. Does anybody have a fix for this? I'm using Opera build 36000 on the TMOUS HD2. My APN is also set to epc.tmobile.com with proxy turned off.
happens to me every so often (today actually), it's one of the annoying "quirks" my phone has. I'm not aware of a fix...try skyfire browser, never noticed it using that
Def.ly looks like a browser issue, as advised in previous post try a different browser. If you do not have the same issue then u know it was the browser.

Before I begin some information on the phone that might help...
The phone was bought through TELUS and of course is unlocked, it is running Stock Android 2.3.4. It is rooted (though the issue was the same when it wasn't) and it seems to be the same problem on Opera 10 as well as the default browser.
The Problem is whenever I attempt to login to a webiste on either the default browser or Opera 10, it does some sort of various issue ultimately failing to login. Over Wi-Fi this does not happen at all, but on the 3G connection with TELUS, It refuses to logon to any website.
Things Tried-
-Clearing all history cache browsing data etc.
-Restarting
-Opera browser
Have you tried fixing permissions through recovery.
I use the dolphin browser, but sometimes i get certificate not verified when trying to go to Sprint and a few other sites. But it doesn't not allow me to log in.
Have you checked browser settings to allow cookies and the others to see what they are set at.

Hello, I have had my nexus 10 for a couple if months. I have it rooted running stock andriod 4.2.2
The internet browsers seems work OK but every time I click on a link I would receive s
Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION-REFUSED): the server has refused the connection
For example, I can type in amazon.com in the address box but if I try to access a product through a link, it would receive the error message. I noticed that happening when I click on the links label "top suggestions" in google search. This is also happening on multiple browsers (chrome, dolphins, naked)
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you either have some kind of AdBlocker installed or your using a DNS service that's blocking certain sites.
Can you get to the sites that error from another PC on your network?
This could be from optimizations to your DNS and such, which I have seen on my tablet before. It could also be something weird with your network, or maybe even the web browser itself. Have you tried other browsers?
Yyes. I can get to other sites from other devices. Its just the nexus 10 that is experiencing the problem. How would I go about resetting the DNS config?

Hey guys!
I noticed that there's something wrong with my home Wi-Fi network. When I open Facebook app with Chrome browser, I can see text only. Now I'm on my girlfriend's Wi-Fi and everything's all right, FB site is displaying as it should. Also, when I'm using apps and they need to display pictures, for example FB app or Gmail app, they never load, but on my home network only. What's wrong with my Wi-Fi network?
I had a similar issue when I used Facebook on the nexus or iPad.
My issue was related to IPv6 enabled on my router. I had a tunnel setup with Hurricane Electric and incorrectly set it up.
Disabling the IPv6 protocol fixed the issue.
After I got the tunnel fixed, it looks like Facebook and the Google applications and Web sites are preferring IPv6.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try to disable IPv6 and will see if that works and I'll report then
I'm not able to change my router's preferences, so my follow up question: is there any app that can force connection to use IPv4?
