Does anyone else have a problem with blank web pages loading? I'll be browsing some sites and it'll randomly just load up a white web page. It's really annoying. Does anybody have a fix for this? I'm using Opera build 36000 on the TMOUS HD2. My APN is also set to epc.tmobile.com with proxy turned off.
happens to me every so often (today actually), it's one of the annoying "quirks" my phone has. I'm not aware of a fix...try skyfire browser, never noticed it using that
Def.ly looks like a browser issue, as advised in previous post try a different browser. If you do not have the same issue then u know it was the browser.

If I try to go to the login screen on this website (http://www.alldatapro.com/includes/main.jsp) I return an error in android, however the page loads on a standard desktop. Any ideas on a fix? Maybe a proxy issue?

Try using another browser. I use Opera Mini 5 and have no issues on log in sites like I do with the Android browser
agreed. sometimes the android browser will either bring up and error, or just send me back to the login page. Try Opera
Opera mini does open the site. But it would be nice to use the native app. Where is proxy info stored for the browser? I have a feeling that is the hold up

Hey Guys,
I'm having issues with HTTPS pages with the default pages. I posted this in the apps section by accident.
How many of you out there are having the same issue?
The pages ive seen this is on paypal.com and a few others that use HTTPS. It just goes to a white page and dies.
What are you using to connect to these HTTPS pages? And what exactly is happening when you try to open them?

Before I begin some information on the phone that might help...
The phone was bought through TELUS and of course is unlocked, it is running Stock Android 2.3.4. It is rooted (though the issue was the same when it wasn't) and it seems to be the same problem on Opera 10 as well as the default browser.
The Problem is whenever I attempt to login to a webiste on either the default browser or Opera 10, it does some sort of various issue ultimately failing to login. Over Wi-Fi this does not happen at all, but on the 3G connection with TELUS, It refuses to logon to any website.
Things Tried-
-Clearing all history cache browsing data etc.
-Restarting
-Opera browser
Have you tried fixing permissions through recovery.
I use the dolphin browser, but sometimes i get certificate not verified when trying to go to Sprint and a few other sites. But it doesn't not allow me to log in.
Have you checked browser settings to allow cookies and the others to see what they are set at.

Yes, I have tried all of those as well as the in browser settings and still no luck.
To public WiFi like in Walmart I'm a able to connect to it but then I get this message on my browser when trying to search for something?
I tried turning it off and on but still have the same problem. My brothers were able to connect and browse just fine.

Does it work in Chrome?
The wifi is trying to redirect your phone to the signin page, but your browser sees it as a security problem and blocks it. There are a number of potential solutions to try. If you google for something like "open wifi popup can't connect" and similar to that, more will come up.
--Try temporarily disabling popups in Opera and get it to work.
--Clear the cache for Opera.
--For alternate browsers, try searching for something in Chrome and see if it redirects to the login page for you. Using Dolphin set to "Desktop" (vs. Mobile) may also work.
--Alternatively, when the login page comes up for your brothers, make a note of it and type it into Opera.
First post:
N7 2013 Android version 5.0.2 I can connect with their, any shops, wifi network but can't get to a log-in screen to accept their terms and "go" online. Using Firefox & Yahoo mail. Starbucks, McDonald, ect.
Is there an app or something that would "ask" for that page? There must be something simple I am missing....
Open to all suggestions!
Thanks for your help! Glenn
I have this issue on all my devices. I have installed a copy of opera and usually have to either close all the tabs in chrome, then reopen chrome and try to go to some general site. If that does not work i open opera and see if that browser catches the login.
Gotten much worst since 1.1.1.1 became a dns address as many portals use the same address...

Thank you for your response. This is a real pain in the... I can't believe this isn't an issue for ANYone using a Nexus7. And more disturbing is that there isn't a fix or app us. I mean isn't having a tablet for the portability and ease of remote access???
I love my N7 and it does everything I need Except logging into the net at coffee shops. Help!!!
